Yes!! I have said this for years too. Us moms would totally trade our Odyssey’s in for a Vesla! (Van Tesla) 😅😂😂

This is so helpful! I have four kids and a mini van - the space is nice but we really don’t use the trunk for anything other than groceries and after driving my husbands model 3 every chance I get, I am definitely considering this! I’m happy you compared it to the X as well. While the captains chairs and extra height would be great, I don’t think it’s worth the significant extra cost for a car that’s basically the same as the y
I just switched from 4runner to Y, and i have second thoughts on whether I should have had X. But.. After just a week on Y, i can't believe how I could have liked noisy 4runner before 😂

The girls aren't in any seat? I need to check the height/weight of my kiddos. They're only 4mos behind your girls and they're in a high back booster! Lol maybe i like the extra safety, we're in a sedan :)
I was looking at a Model Y for a long time and debated getting a Palisade or a Telluride but I can't bring myself into getting another gas car. I'm tired of suckling on the petrol teat.

Can u speak more about the cost savings from gas bill vs. electricity bill?
Fuel cost savings has been my biggest pro with this car, with the expedition I was spending roughly $300 a month on gas, we have solar that completely covers our electric each month so I currently don't pay anything to charge. The Tesla currently has 16,780 miles, I've spend a total of $68 dollars on fuel (those were all super charging trips). I realize not everyone has solar but when we bought our current house it had a solar system already installed which has made an EV a great choice for us.

What happened to Andrew's Tesla? You guys basically switched 😂 I love my expedition but having tons of problems too 😢
We sold it and were able to make money on it. The car was a little too nice for us at the time so he got an f150 for utility. But he loooved his model s!

After Andrew sold his Tesla I never thought you would have one. 😂 I imagined your next SUV would be a Defender.
Andrew loved his model S, the only reason he sold is because he was offered $6k over what he bought it for (this was in 2022 when the EV prices were super high), but now he wants a Cybertruck and I'm not exactly sold on that idea haha

I got my Model Y in 2021 and I'm still so in love with it. I don't think i could ever go back to a gas car either!
How has the software been? Is it still quick and snappy? I believe you are unable to utilize the newer features that come with the AMD Ryzen. I'm curious because I'm considering the 2021 or 2022 (with AMD).

We were needing to replace the entire engine! But I absolutely loved it! Just needed a more reliable car and the gas was way too expensive for us.

We also have a model Y and love it. I don’t know if you’ve noticed but the left edge of the screen is also red as part of the new blind spot detection, or at least on ours. 😁
Also, I had a X for a few days while our windshield got replaced and while the falcon doors were cool, they were so creaky (it was an older model) and I did have an issue with them one time. I know those are probably the thing that breaks the most on the X. I do believe the X is the least “reliable” or what have you out of all the models.

On a monthly basis, how much does it cost you to charge your car?
We visited a Tesla store in Tampa and got a kick out of the cars.
