That was a great video. I got a 2024 Model 3 RWD two weeks ago and I absolutely love the car and have had no issues with it yet. Owning a Tesla definitely makes it hard to want to drive a gas car again.

I think the biggest pro, is the fact Tesla has the largest public charging network. I use to own a KIA EV6, it was headache to find a charger for it. Those charges mostly came in only pairs, broken, poorly maintained or vandalized. That lasted two monks, I just purchased a Model Y long range.

I picked up my refreshed M3 LR in stealth grey black interior in March first EV. I absolutely love this car. It literally puts a smile on my face every time I drive it. I love the acceleration it's ridiculously fast, it's comfortable , it's quiet with no squeaks rattles or creaks. I love having no stalks, ambient lighting and cooled seats are awesome especially in this heat of Phoenix. I love the tech and minimalism they are fantastic. Software updates are awesome too. I am only getting Tesla, car is so much fun.
Congrats🎉 on your car. I agree with you about the customer service 😂😂 they are really hard to get a hold of and several times they never got back to me but I knew what I was getting myself into as my dad has a Tesla but I still love the car despite the " quirks "
Oh and the day I picked up my car it was very underwhelming !!! I just bought a 50,000 plus car and literally no one even came up and asked if I needed help 🤔🤔 for several minutes. Then I didn't even get a paper with my name on it on the dash , no one really congratulated me , there was no excitement it was just another day at the Tesla showroom it felt like. Disappointing but still love my car.

One of the greatest Tesla pros is their highway charging network experience. When doing 90% of our charging at home, all EVs provide the same charging experience. But try taking an EV6 and a Tesla MY on a highway trip and the Hyundai will quickly provide an excruciating one way trip to hell. Finding working chargers, waiting at a two charger facility to finally get a chance to charge. Tesla clearly shows how their investment in Superchargers has paid off. Thanks for another great video.

I’m at 2 months ownership One of biggest cons for me is a lack of a spare emergency tire. But you can order one online. But still lol. And of course the biggest pro is not buying gas. Double pro if you have a level 2 charger at home.

I've had the Model Y LR for 1 month. My biggest issues right now: #1: wipers in auto mode are sub-par. #2: It's ridiculous that the Model Y doesn't come standard with homelink for garage/gate door openers. Yes, I know about the $350 purchase or the MyQ purchase/subscription.

For the miles, they just recently sent out an offer to pay for more mileage. It’s called energy boost and should you be in your upgrades in the app. It’s $1600 for 50 more miles of range… bringing it basically the same price of the Long Range if not cheaper.

Hi Salinya, your observations are right on! I got my Y/LR April last year and love it. But as you said that flat front is a bug magnet. If I had known, I would not have gotten a white Tesla and opted for a dark color. BTW, in NY last year, I could bring a check when I picked up the car--but it had to be 1 check (not 2 that added to the right amount, so I had to move $$ all into 1 account). It might have changed since, of course.

My understanding is that this is a philosophical issue with Tesla engineering. Instead of using tried and true sensors to determine when to turn on the wipers and the speed, Tesla decided to use CAMERAS to make that determination and that's why we experience this frustration. I've also had my wipers just randomly come on when it's definitely not raining!

Another con which isn’t so much Tesla, but being in Texas, is the $200/yr extra registration fee because we don’t pay gas taxes. I think that’s kind of an expensive up charge for owning an ev. I just got my MY LR & I was hit with a $400 fee added to the registration fees. 🤔

I seem to be doing fine without a sun roof cover so far. I don’t get too warm in the car not having it. I believe you adore supposed to have a front license plate but it will be good to check on that. I'm in San Antonio and I travelled to Austin to get the car earlier. I could have waited until one was delivered in San Antonio, but I was impatient. When I purchased an Audi several years ago, the car that I wanted was also in Austin and Audi delivered it in San Antonio for me. Tesla didn't even make that offer and I suspect that it might not have been "free" anyway. I also thought that the pick-up experience wasn't as good as it could have been.
