The Crew 2 is more like an arcade racing, all the story mode was removed. But the fact to have 16 different racing types is amazing!! I love the water events.

And most of the map is removed there’s no st louis suburbs or Chicago airport anymore

I played the crew 1, gotta say it’s more fun than the crew 2. The first person mode and the realistic wheel management and it just looks and feels different. The crew 2 is just, I don’t wanna play it after playing the first one lol, it’s crazy how different it is. Plus it has cops in free roam.

I like both but crew 2 definitely lacks a world that feels alive. Crew 1 had more traffic and people, better draw distance, more detail, aircraft in the sky's, smokestack and industrial in movement. Crew 2 is flat in comparison

I still play TC1 because it feels alive and refreshing. TC2 has better graphics and sounds but it lacks of soul... it’s just boring. And you can play vs cops in TC1!!!!
Tc2 also has flying aircrafts, moving industrial machinery, and i always see lots of cars and pedestrians

the crews world and story is just so much better than the crew 2's which is kind of sad as it is meant to be the same world and the story in the crew 2 i wouldn't really class as a story.

I forgot I owned the original crew from a free promotion years ago and before I never had a capable pc but I do now so I’m finally playing it and I’m surprised at the activity when hopping on the world is alive with AI and real players still

I don't think the crew 2 has better physics its really arcade and can't drift, the crew 1 has better physics in my opinion.
I've been playing "Test Drive Unlimited 2" since it came out, I still playing it today in 2021, I enjoy it that much, and "weirdly" enough, I had never really looked closely at "The Crew", I thought it was only online racing...I finally tried the trial version and I must say that "The Crew" is actually "Test Drive Unlimited 3", and 4. I think they changed the name to The Crew because they had bad reviews on TDU2, despite that, it's one of my favorite race/driving game, and The Crew is exactly the same but improved much more. Thanks for the comparison video, I'll get The Crew 1!!

Yea the crew 1 was a good game the put time and effort into but like with most gay companies they got greedy and made the crew 2 to just make some quick money not actually caring about making a good game
True the highways there felt more realistic than in 2 and they’re missing my hometown Philadelphia and you can’t use transport anymore

I prefer crew 1, it has an amazing off roading and racing experience!, the story line is also a lot better than the crew 2, The crew 1 also has more and better cars and trucks!, so I would recommend the crew 1! 😁

tell you the truth The Crew would've had a great life span if only they didn't add the calling all units thing, and the micro-transaction to get certain features and cars in The Crew and the physics
