Motorfest in my opinion is the most fun. The map is great, the car sounds are great. The incorporation of drag racing is a lot of fun. Horizon 5 has way more cars, but less customization and better physics. Nfs was fun for a week, the customization is the best of the game visually but I got sick of it after a week
Sounds in motorfest suck compared to forza, but nfs is even worse. I used to love nfs and hate forza, but nfs has gone downhill so much recently I can’t keep defending it

yeah no, forza still beats the other two. the only thing i think its looks better is the dust/sand/mud in The Crew, well its more a recent game.
What pulls me the closest to FH5 is moody rain drives. I love them in Assetto Corsa, i love them irl and they are very relaxing for autumn breaks from uni papers in FH without the need to connect the wheel and all. The wipers, the rain drops, the everything

That's one thing that has always bugged me is how Ivroy Tower hasn't implemented the side mirror details. I'm just glad they fixed the head lights working properly on Motorfest after not having any lighting detail on Crew 2

@@Giulio-RomeoI totally agree. I got the game today on sale for only 12€. I played it for like 3 hours, and I was really enjoying it. I can't understand where all the hate for this game came from. BTW, people use the visual effects as an excuse. You can just go to your cars visual effects and equip "original" which turns them off. Your character will still be cartoonish, but it's OK cause you don't really see him/her as he's/she's always in your car.
@@abdimohamed7777 I'm not a fan of the cartoonish characters and effects but I really liked unbound, it has good graphics and gameplay and ,unlike forza 5, it doesnt have a dead and empty map. Besides the sensation of velocity that is way better
I can see Motorfest would be best choice because more things to do, Cycles, Fly, Boats, Monster trucks wheel's and having Turbo for all vehicles and bikes would make it best choice for Fun factor.
But I sure would hate having to keep changing around the control settings when I want to change out of drifting to normal racing style all the time

Forza still the best. The only thing I hate about FH5 is the lack of body customization you can do on most of the cars and the world feels bland/empty. The way you can fully tune your car just how you want it, and the game physics still keeps Forza on top. If you prefer Arcade style racing then you can’t go wrong with The crew or Nfs.

Forza definitely has the best physics and graphics of these 3 but it felt so empty and no direction, not a fan of having no meaningful progression and nothing really new brought to the table compared to FH4. Really enjoyed it for the first 30 or so hours but didn’t have the pull to want to play more like old Horizon games did.

Agreed, FH4 was way better then the steaming pile we call FH5. I remember when fh4 first dropped, I upgraded xboxes, had been saving to upgrade to a really nice 4k setup. Fortune island was the most beautiful and detailed environment, the lightning storms, the amazing sunlit or moonlit drives on the beach around the island etc. Ever since fh4 I have upgraded hardware, better 4k display/res and response time etc. Fh5 looks so over lit and dull. I remember I was so happy a new horizon dropped to test out the 4k, resolutions etc. Even more and I just remember being extremely disappointed in how things felt, especially how they looked. I did the same.... I think I invested about 20-30hrs in fh5 and missed fortune island so bad I went back to playing 4. It was just something about the environment, the lighting, the feeling of driving and exploring as the landscape could change from anything from winding country roads with beautiful greenery. To beautiful city or beautiful island driving. Ppl in fh5 got dropped in the middle of a bland dessert with the most horrible horizon environment ever and worshipped the devs like they took 10 steps forward when the put a dull, completely tasteless muzzle on horizon and killed everything that made it great. And instead of creating good content, they paid for names and brands to have notoriety and attention for races vs a well lit, well mapped, super fun map to enjoy. 🤷♂️ just my 2 cents that aren't even worth that. 😅

tcm has the best noise for sure, graphics wise maybe not but tcm doesn't aim for that, it aims for fun and festival shows and races, while forza is meant to be that but it failed hard. compared to tcm they properly did the festival aspect of the game imo.
I own all three of these racing games and if you're a true racing fan you should buy all 3 of them as well, NFS Unbound while unrealistic, it's hella fun, and creative, the soundtrack is fire and the game still retains the cheesy cringe dialogues we all love, not to mention, customization is through the roof, it slaps left and right FH5 and TCM, and this is the only game on the list that features cop chases, which can be real challenging, unfortunately unbound has no new game plus and that's what kills the game, because it's too short and once the story is over, you can only do mindless races, also the community I find it to be the most toxic, unfortunately...
FH5 is also amazing and I like the handling and the ability to swap engines (unbound also has engine swaps), not to mention, it has the biggest car catalogue, sounds may not be the best, but damn that car list is insane, I like that FH5 goes into way more detail about car parts when modding, way more than unbound and TCM, damage physics are way better in this game too, however, I feel that the progression in this game is broken, you can easily, and I mean easily, get a high powered car in the hundreds of thousands of dollars range within your first day whereas in unbound you would have to grind a lot to obtain it, could take days even, TCM has grinding but it also gives you overpowered cars easily, right of the bat you can get a bmw Z4, not to mention you can just do a Porsche playlist with loaned cars and get a 911.
And finally TCM, I enjoy the fact that the game is more lively and exciting about racing, not to mention the map looks stunning and beautiful, I like the sounds in this game the best, I also like the fact that u can do rally and rally raid, monster trucks, powerboating, planes, motocross, use motorcycles in first prison view, and while the game focuses mainly on cars, it's enjoyable to ride a Kawasaki H2 on first person and pushing it to the max, however despite their efforts to make the game more lively, it hasn't totally succeeded yet, traffic and people make NFS Unbound feel like the city is alive (even though there could be more traffic), and people just don't exist in TCM which is terrible in my opinion, this could be fixed with an update hopefully, also, there needs to be way more playlists.
I am liking unbound online, am I wrong for saying this? Why do you play story mode when you can win a lot and collect a lot of cars and upgrade properly in online mode? Just curious

I think overall, crew the graphics are more focused on the car. It looks more clear and vibrant than forza. Forza the graphics are more evenly focused between the car and enviornment. Forza has some great details for damage and rain on the car, but it does look much more dull and somewhat depressing compared to the other games. Nfs has good base graphics that are colorful, but the physics and enviornment dont react as well as the other games. The games all look great and we are blessed to have all of these options
Yeah Forza easily beats any car game when it comes to graphics. Ill be honest tho. I actually like playing Crew 3 more than FH5 and I decided to play FH5 again and it just cemented the fact I think Crew 3 is more fun to play. Car customization is superior, car handling is superior, Crew has Nitrous, and MotorFest is more cinematic. Great cutscenes and its even got cool live action cutscenes, and every time you get a new free car after completing a playlist the little cutscenes that plays showing off the car is very nice. Then there the big one for me. Crew has not just cars, but planes, boats, motorcycles, street and dirt, and monster trucks.

Only certain parts of car customization is superior. It has more bumper options, but the wheels aren't even licensed, and you can only paint them in 1 color with the chrome finish.

Unbound has got the best speed sense just like the old nfs. I’m glad they did it good this time. The map is also good. Similar to underground vibes. The racing feels like its from burnout which makes you standup from your chair the entire race.
The only thing I don't like about tcm is that going fast doesn't feel and look like going fast

To me for a is over the top when it comes to a lot of stuff. Sand is almost perfect in motorfest, while too much in Forza. And guard rails either should be able to be ran through or actually leave dents/tears, and not be able to fly through them like it’s nothing. I will give forza where credit is due though, and that’s with shallow water physics, car detail, and car damage.
NFS Unbound definitely did the best in terms of damage physics and the stairs test. Look how the fence breaks down into the individual sticks that its made of! Amazing detail! Also props to NFS for actually modeling the bottom of the car...forza just uses a generic underside texture like a game from 2005...
No, Forza should have the stair test one. Damage physics, gotta give that to NFS unbound and in second place comes in the crew motor fest. i think overall through all these tests, crew motor fest nailed it with graphics and they've improved by a lot. the car physics as well goes to the crew motor fest. braking, accelerating, and make a quick stop also. Forza is also more realistic in terms of the natural environment. NFS unbound looks like they've tried too hard on the graphics to get the best looking details but failed. in some places one looks better than the other but overall id have to say the Motorfest got it in most scenarios.

Motorfest has its own little vibe and it’s refreshing.
The graphics are sick but choppy. Not nearly as strong and clear as Forza.
Forza has way more gigs than both the other games.
Unbound I just don’t play at all…
You didn't demonstrate Unbound's damage system correctly. You're supposed to drain the car's health bar to critical by crashing on traffics and solid walls to see the actual damage model!

all things you compared is great but honestly that's not everything I'm looking for in a racing game comparison
maybe you could compare them taking this things in consideration :
1- how many cars does each offer
2- customization
3- graphics (car - road - sites) i could care less about grass and getting into the water after all its a racing game. maybe i will take it in consideration for the crea since they offer boat race
4- map size
5- price
For me TCM mirrors work really well idk why it is for you like this

I played and still play FH5 - love it. I bought Motorfest but just dont like the physics and "feel" of the Cars. Thats so much better in FH so playing FH4 instead, as an adition to my FH5. FH4 is beautiful. Love the UK map.
I have both but i think the same. FH4 had a more fun map and the seasons changing was cool.
Not so sure about the winter though :) thing is. I started playing FH4 2 weeks ago and It was winter for several days, then it became fall and now winter again. Cant wait for the summer. Not sure why that happened, but maybe because I just started. Its a really beautiful game and everyone that enjoys FH5 should try it@@ati440ramen
damaging your car in unbound ties to your health bar, you should've gotten closer to half health to show the real damage or even at critical damage
FH5 in pc max settings is far from those two. FH6 should inprove in some areas looking how good some details are in the crew tho

NFS one might be controversial but I really like that aggressiveness in nfs car driving, not good as a simulator obviously
What you mean it doesn't sound different. They have almost nothing in common. NFS sounds a little exaggerated and modded, which is fine for an full arcade game. And TCM sounds more neutral, not forcing any particular style.
In NFS you can adjust the tone from stock to aggressive

Well in the games about cars most important thing would have to be handling. I never played motorfest but I played Forza and Unbound. And Unbound car handling is tragic to say the least.

Was hoping to see drifting physics. I play horizon 5 and was wondering if the crew motorfest had okay enough car physics to play it.
It has. But you have to tweak the settings for your optimal driving experience. You can have the automatics to help you alot or almost not at all. I am in the middle.

Havent played motorfest. But I have played FH5 and unbound and I can say that unbound is 100% more engaging and addicting, maybe its because I havent played a nfs game for a long time. While FH5 has amazing graphics, I got bored after 5-6 hours into the game.
Absolutely relatable. I've played FH4, it's pretty much the same FH5. Yes, I do agree that it has great graphics, it's probably the best graphics in a racing game on PC (shotout to GT)... but unfortunately that's the only good thing about it. It will engage you for like 10 hours but then... idk there won't be anything addictive about it. You'll probably already have all the cars you wanted, new repetitive races will keep popping up on the map and that's about it. NFS Heat is indeed a better game but the real deal is The Crew. Motorfest is great but if you haven't played The Crew 2, you should play it first. Graphics still look good now and its open world has the entire US (well, not 1:1, but still), while motorfest has only HI. Whatever you say about Ubisoft, they certainly nail making amazing open worlds that are actually fun to explore. Open world aside, it has a ton of various activities. Hundreds of hours of fun is guaranteed!

There's also a bunch of people still playing it and it's still getting updates unlike The Crew. So I hope we got at least 5 years. Besides, I bought it @ 90 percent off when it cost only $5 and I had a pretty good time with it, so...

NFS annoying me, is so much arcade. FH5 is the best game of cars for me but the crew this years make a great job and the graphics, physics, and all the events in the game is gonna make me buy the game one day
I used to love racing games but something seems way off in them like the handling, it could be me but i played unbound for 10 mins and only 2 of them was a race before i shut it down, i was disappointed..

FH5 has better graphics however I think Motorfest is the most balanced in terms of graphic/gameplay/fun. NFS = DNF. The cartoon effects are just too disturbing.

I played in FH4 30hours and get bored, but I play in the crew 2 already 120+hours, and I feel interesting and fun, this game much better for me
Forza horizon is still the best of all, a perfect balance between the game modes of the other two, I love its hyper realism
GTA 4 was released in 2008. Not just have the driving element only. Still the physics are better than these racing only open world games. They are just improving graphics and not focussing on the physics.

Acho q o NFS tem capacidade de ir mais além, o problema é q está nas mãos da EA, até o Payback acho razoavel (na minha opinião), mas aí, chega no Heat, que tem os aspectos de Neon e corta um pouco a imersão atmosférica. O Unbound, baguiu de anime e krai a4🙄 (nunca joguei o Unbound até o momento). O de 2015, é o único mais pé no chão da quadrilogia, no fim, todos tem suas vantagens e desvantagens. Outra coisa tbm... NFS é NFS né, TCM e FH já são... aqueles outros "patamares", é um furo na bolha
Eu prefiro forza horizon, questão de gráficos, jogabilidade, tunagem e muitas outras coisas. Um do problemas que vejo no forza e que nao gosto é a falta de uma progressão, tu consegue todos os carros e dinheiro de forma tao fácil que tira a graça das conquistas no jogo. Um outro ponto que nao curto no jogo, é a paleta de cores dos carros, sempre tem cores que ficam estranhas, como no caso do amarelo igual do carro do video, as cores nao tem saturacao, nem contraste muito bom. Tirando isso é um jogo bom demais.
