GREAT ALBUM. When I first hear Freddie Gibbs I didn't think he had anything special on him, I actually thought he was just like any average rapper making Trap music until I hear this album. WOW! From beginning to end I love this album. I didn't think that a great album was going to come out in a while since Good Kid M.A.A.D City. Gibbs has a really good flow, intricate lyrics and a special way of telling a story. Madlib did his job producing amazing smooth and soulful beats full of samples and interludes. INSTANT CLASSIC.

This song is so fuckin real. Most rappers are afraid to put themselves in the other person's shoes cuz they don't wanna seem vonerable. It's always, "I took ur girl. I got ur girl." Never from the perspective of the other side. This is one of the things that makes Freddie the real. And the look on his face at 1:50.......and then again at 1:52, says it all. I been there too, so this track hit home for me. It helped me deal with it tho, cuz it showed me that it happens to the best of em.

Add to that that 'she' is apparently a metaphor for hip-hop... Deeper indeed.
