The Villain I thought that too but he said in an interview something along the lines of “I’ll make music with Freddie until he’s 60 as long as he doesn’t pull an MF DOOM on me, I can never find that guy”
The greatest beat switch of all time, i'm not even kidding Side B of this song literally has one of the greatest samples I will ever hear. MADGIB the best duo in hiphop
def avalanches but doesnt surprise me if madlib made it on ipad. dude is notorious for sourcing fresh samples. normally mostly lets them talk and doesn't flip them as much as other producers
I know exactly what you mean. I guess that's why Madlib isn't that keen on pushing Madvillainy 2. So much to live up to. Just happy that this has more than lived up to the hype.
Best track on the whole album. One of the best hip hop songs in the last 5 years at least. It seems like no one appreciates incredible shit like this anymore.
I seriously thought I wasn't guna like this shit as much as Pinata..cuz Pinata is definitely a classic...but I was jaded. This shit overall is just as good, if not better.
Fuuuuuck! Iove how simple this track starts off and then Freddie just shows you so many different flows and his rapping around the beat switch is so masterful! Crazy good
@@producedbysin6508 second half is very dope, but i LOVE that first part aswell.. That first part has the perfect vibe, the second beat, i kinda feel like we heard these kind of beats from other Madlib productions, Dilla's and MF Doom's... that first beat is something different tho. Don't fight, they both dope!!! But that first one is just godly to me
My god man, this album.....this fucking album...........fucking wow, just WOW. So many songs that I keep replaying over and over and over again. I just cant stop nodding my damn head. Truely incredible work. Fucking top tier classic album here. Hip hop in its finest.

The fact that this only has nearly 600k views let’s you know everything....this isn’t for the radio...only the real ones listen to Gibbs...this track is timeless and immaculate....long live GANGSTA GIBBS
This is one of the very few albums in years that has exceeded everybody’s crazy expectations for it. I was worried about how it would fair against Piñata, but this shit is liquid gold right here. Out of this world production with top tier lyricism. It’s like Daytona on steroids ✊🏾. I don’t think I’m being hasty by saying this is already a classic album, as I’ll be jamming this in 10 years time without question.
Show me a beat like that first one though.. It's perfect in my ears. The vibe of it.. The bassline.. The drums.. The high pitch strings shit going on.. pfff such a beauty
That switch is GODLY.
Yes indeed
good god, straight fire.
This 👌👌
I have goosebumps everytime man
The second beat is legendary damn
The best part about these tracks that 🔀 the beat up half way through, is that they get don't repetitive on 🔂 🔥🔥🔥
the beat switch doesn’t even throw me off anymore. it just makes so much sense. Madlib the legend.
Precisely.
It never threw me off, it was just hard to register how he smoothly transitioned a whole new sound sonically into a whole nother beat
@@AceTheGreat999 this definitely what i meant. thank u
this is legendary, madlib should should produce all of his stuff for now on.
Montana will be their last collab I think
The Villain I thought that too but he said in an interview something along the lines of “I’ll make music with Freddie until he’s 60 as long as he doesn’t pull an MF DOOM on me, I can never find that guy”
freddies work with Kenny beats goes hard too

Madlib is on some truly other shit.

madlib is on some other shit yes, but freddie is eating it all up like breakfast, madlib can't make a beat not suited for this nigga ;D

Pinata is already a classic. I was hoping this was going to be some what a part 2 of that. They delivered again. Gibbs is so slept on.

Only a select crowd appreciates this type of hip-hop. That's why I'm back 4 years later.
Peace to the brothers madlib and gibbs for putting together another timeless classic...
