- Byredo Bal D'Afrique is one of my favourite DNA's but when you explore the 3 different levels of this DNA, how do you know which one to chose? Sospiro's Contralto comes in with an excellent offering, borrowing key elements of Bal D'Afrique, enhancing it along the way, where as Boadicea's Hanuman shows the industry what it means to offer a near perfect product.

Just smelled byredo today. OMG!!!!! The scent is beautiful, but the performance is not the best. People told me to get Contralto Sospiro. I ordered a 5ml decant to test it.

@@FoodnFragrances i received Contralto a week ago. It’s amazing!!!! I also have a 5ml of byredo. I compared the two, and contralto is what I preferred. Byredo was more floral, and contralto was a bit more citrusy.
Overall both are great, but the performance and sweetness from contralto is what made it superior vs byredo.
I purchased the Byredo roll on oil, and I layer it with contralto, for even better performance 😅
@@Beat__The__Odds I totally see it, contralto has that extra something special to it that actually justifies the difference in price. I still love byredo, I think there’s a time and place for it, but contralto is literally love

How do the Contralto and Bal D'Afrique perform in your experience? I absolutely LOVE Bal D'Afrique, so I'm curious to know.
I love bal D’afrique, to me it performs really well on my skin. I get 6 hrs roughly when I wear it. Contralto I get maybe 8 hrs of performance with it. It’s fairly strong and vibrant. If you try contralto, you will definitely get bal D’afrique vibes with it, but you’ll also enjoy the scent with its additions of citrus

Another competitor is Emir Vetiver Delight by Paris Corner which is a U.A.E. fragrance brand. The DNA clone is 90% or higher.

You know, it’s tough, because Hanuman is priced outrageously. If it was me and money isn’t an object, Hanuman from Boadicea, it blooms throughout its wearing. Otherwise, Sospiro contralto is superrrr fantastic, you’d not be disappointed 1 bit :)
I have a few boadicea the victorious fragrances but i can't just see myself paying 1000$ for a fragrance even though i have been tempted to lol 😅 😆 😂
Trust me, I totalllyyyy understand. It’s more so of a treat to myself. Fragrances are diverse like that. Soo many already smell good at different price ranges and the difference in raw materials and quality may not be what a person prioritized, and that’s okay. As long as you smell good, you feel confident, and you’re happy with what u have, that’s all that matters. 🍻
