Great point that a lot of folks may not realize - niche isn't THAT much more expensive (not more expensive at all, in some cases) than designer, and often the payoff comes in sillage and longevity. Great video!

Thank you! And I totally agree, I think we buy some many designers and because we’re unfulfilled we keep buying. If we buy something we love, chances are you’d overall spend less money on the hobby. Thanks for watching ❤️

Great video! I relate a lot to the point that your signature scent is what people will associate with you. That being said, I have friends that wear well-known, mass appealing designer scents and that is 100% OK. Yes, a lot of people wear BdC or Spicebomb but who cares.... if thats what you like, wear it!

You’re absolutely right, you gotta love what you wear, regardless of what it is. I also encourage everyone to sample stuff too, because why limit yourself to department store fragrances when there is a whole world to explore! Cheers!

Love the recommendation mate❤. I went ahead pulled the trigger on Contralto. I already have London Spice and I love it. I am exploring Danea because I really like the house. Keep up the great work 😊

@@FoodnFragrances happy to support you my friend. I would not have know about Contralto or Danae with out your video. The mrs loves London spice and contralto so I hoping Danae will be 3 for 3.. lol. Have you tried Basso and if so what are your thoughts?

@@mike_smR I truly appreciate that :). I know you'll love contralto. Honestly, London spice is one of my favourite fragrances and it's truly a sleeper as well. You will absolutely love Danae, and I cannot wait to hear about your experiences with it

I agree about the "memorable" point, probably the most strongly. I think it's important for signature scents to feel unique enough that it feels like it's "yours", as well - it should be wearable, versatile and have universal appeal but if you have some skin in the game, you also probably want to feel like it's not something people are smelling all day. Your choices are great for that, as are some things like Sydney rock pool, Initio's psychedelic love, some of Xerjoff's freshies, etc. - over something like TF Oud wood or Sauvage. Nothing wrong with the latter, but they're so played out it's just zzz.
    Fantastic vids bro

Totally agree, it’s about feeling unique and you. When you fall into the same crowd sure you smell good, but I want to also smell your thought process when you select a fragrance. There should be excitement in the process.

Danae is a 9 on paper, 10 on skin. As it stands, Triumph of Bacchus is my signature scent.
Royal Earth by The Harmonist is a close second.

Funny enough I never tried Danae on paper lol. But on skin, magnificentttttttt. Triumph of Bacchus always puts a smile on my face as well haha. Thanks for dropping by!

Do you know any signature fragrances that smell natural and not like a fragrance?

    • @FoodnFragrances
      @FoodnFragrances  3 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

Hmmmm, that’s a very good question.
I’d say whatever I recommend, sample first, fair? Lol
      1. Matiere Premiere Neroli Oranger
      2. Kilian Roses on Ice
      3. Roja Musk Aoud (go light) (also soon discontinued if not already)
      4. Nishane Wulong Cha
      5. Guerlain Aqua allegaro Nerolia Vetiver
      6. Jovoy Incident Diplotmatique
      7. Fragrance du Bois London Spice
Those are some recommendations. It’ll be tough, to find something verrryyy natural, but closer from first spray these smell very nice and as close to a natural scent without it being too perfumey
Also look at alcohol free fragrances, that could help. Check a brand called Argentium Sage
