What I love about you is that you start off with your hair how it realistically looks when it’s not styled and needs detangling. We all get these days when our hair is just looking a mess but some natural youtubers don’t show it. Another amazing video also, definitely going to try it out thank you!
You should do a video where you do one side with your normal tool and one side with this tool lol and compare the time it takes the frizz levels and how much hair it takes out from each side.

It definately defines my curls and doesnt pull or snag on mg 4c curls. Thanks for this video!! This is a grwat alternative to the denman brush...it low-key reminds me of the 3 row comb everyone was so hyped about a few months back😌

someone probably already said this but backcombing is when you take one strand of hair and comb underneath it. But towards your scalp to tangle it on purpose. people with straight hair often do this to give the hair more volume at the scalp
I love the no make up look. I am so tired of people obsessing over layering their face. Simplicity is the true beauty. You just earned a fan. You love your natural curls, your so lively and genuine and of course the no make up style. its like your a youtuber just for me. :)
Back combing is teasing. Like when you grab a section of hair and comb up toward the scalp instead of away. It gives people with thin or fine hair volume around the crown area. Or it can be used on other parts of the hair to add texture & size to a bun or braid.
Back combing is a technique where your comb your roots backwards to create volume/fullness. Any person can do it technically but I wouldnt recommend it for people with curls like Amber's. It's more for looser curls to straight hair.

I bought the tangle teaser for my daughter's hair, who has long hair like yours. It didn't work on her hair, but maybe this updated version of the teaser comb will work because the comb ends are longer. Your hair is beautiful.
Not sure if that's what this brush is for, but generally backcombing in English means literally combing the hair backwards towards the scalp, as in "teasing" hair, which might be why it says it's for creating volume! Looks like it's a great curl definer, too!

I was thinking of buying it but when you said it hurt more than the original tangle teezer I was like "nah", especially for my 4c hair. But actually, seeing your hair after its dried and your idea of using the comb after detangling with the teezer...I may give this a go!
I’ve been intrigued by the chart categorizing curl size- what is your natural curl, it doesn’t look quite like 4c, or is it? You have longest, healthiest, and beautiful hair I’ve ever seen with a lot of curl. I think my hair is 3a, since I’m of “ a certain age” my hair has turned from all my life being about a 2a. What a huge difference that makes in styling. Thank you for your wonderful videos, very informative.

Love it! You were making curly ribbons with your hair with that tool. Your curls are beautiful especially when it was air dried.
