Jamie Cooper yes and that’s hispanic. Most Hispanics I know have thick black hair... or they have curly... some even blonde. What I am saying is RACE SHOULD NOT BE ASSOCIATED WITH HAIR.
@@siennacrunchy4345 I dont think straight hair = white, but I think its pretty clear that hair characteristics can be associsted with race? I have never in my life seen a white person with 4c curly hair, generally their hair just doesn't grow like that. And that depends on what race you are, but my partner is colombian and she calls herself Latino/Hispanic.
Girl I'm African American and I have longer hair than her. If your hair is short enough that you wear extensions it may be that you are not taking care of your hair or its because of your genes.
I saw an increase in single strand knots with the tangle teezer over time. I have fine and dense hair. I only use it it like once every couple of months to slick down the front of my hair.
Let me start you by telling you Aussie is most likely causing the tangling to begin with. The grocery store brands use ingredients that make you need more and more and more of the product so you have to buy it over and over. Try IT'S A 10 POTION 10 MIRACLE INSTANT REPAIR LEAVE-IN CONDITIONER or IT’S A 10 SILK EXPRESS MIRACLE SILK LEAVE-IN CONDITIONER. I'm a licensed professional and even though you can get Its A 10 at the grocery store it's still a professional product. Good Luck Gorgeous :)
I agree. I bought Aussie, my hair was SO TANGLED. Now, my hair is super thick and wavy/curly, really fine. So much so that i was forced to have short hair for most of my life or the weight of my hair would pull my skin and give me terrible headaches, im talking like having my hair past my shoulders was too much. Often i had it at chin level or shorter. I can now finally have long hair and I love it, down to my middle back now. But the tangles! I usually use Treseme which works great. One time i ran low on money and bought some aussie product from the dollar store and oh my god. My hair had never been so tangled before. It actually hurt.
You're so right. I bought Aussie "ultra moisturizing" shampoo and conditioner, worst mistake I have ever made in regards to my hair! It's so ridiculously drying to my hair and scalp. They are selling lies.
Same sis! Tangle Teezer came out with a "wet detangler" that's similar to the wet brush that I also wanna try. But Wet brushes are cheaper/more readily available.
I have used the wet brush paddle brush for 5 years now (I have straight hair though) and it works amazingly. My hair is really fine and tangles really easily. I'm pretty sure that if I didn't use the wet brush I would be bald by now lol. Will never ever use a regular brush again.
As someone with REALLY thick hair, this brush is a life saver. I think it’s made even more awesome by the fact that it works so well for all hair types 💕
I have the thick & curly version. I haven't notice any bad signs of using it but I only use on days my detangling taking too long or trying to define my hair.
Flancy Fernandes , girl you don't know the pain of having curly hair! It may look good to others but it's hella painful for us....😔 especially maintaining it, is literally a task!!😑
Safina Marishka Oof. Good thing I am informed. I am not going to buy one because many people in the comments said it increased split ends in their hair.
I have discarded my wide tooth comb in favor of a Tangle Teezer dupe from Aldi (brand: Kult), and I use this pre-wash for detangling, then I use a Wet brush dupe (Action, 1.49 euro) for detangling it when it's wet/damp. My wide tooth comb tugged at my scalp when detangling and these brushes do not!
Sarah Museima, soms heeft de Action die borstel, soms niet, het is een "wet detangler", niet een gewone paddle brush, en ze komen in het fel roze en lime groen. Dus daar moet je ff op letten! Groetjes!

Yeah her comment disturbed me a little, I would have never even thought about "that's for black people" and when she said it in that tone I actually got a chill on my spine. Idk it just made me uncomfortable
She just assumed it was for a different hair type, maybe because she sees white people use it and never any black people. She's probably used to the idea of wide-tooth combs and whatever else she uses being the only brushes usable for her hair type. What works on "white people" hair, usually doesn't work on "black people" hair. I'm not sure why that would disturb you at any level.

It's the sound of static in the hair - naturalspasupplies.co.uk/static-electric-the-hair-the-skin-our-health/ "If you comb your hair with a nylon comb or brush you can hear the crackling sound of static and the hair can become quite unmanageable. As the nylon comb has been stroked through the hair, electrons from the hair have moved to the comb. Hair will be pulled out by the comb because the comb will gain an negative charge and the hair, having lost its electrons is left with a positive charge. Because opposites polarities form an attractive force and charges of the same polarity form a repulsive force, the hair will be attracted strongly to the comb. Each hair now has a positive charge and each hair repels the other similarly charged hairs, sending the individual hairs apart in all directions. Not only is it unmanageable, some of it is lost to the plastic comb!" I swapped to a horn comb and TEK wooden brush and don't hear this anymore when I brush.

I think the original one is just more readily available.

peachy babe xX I think that’s extremely racist.... I’m Mexican and I have straight hair. Hair shouldn’t be associated with race.
@@siennacrunchy4345 Mexican isn't an ethnicity though, its a nationality. You can be white and Mexican
Jamie Cooper yes and that’s hispanic. Most Hispanics I know have thick black hair... or they have curly... some even blonde. What I am saying is RACE SHOULD NOT BE ASSOCIATED WITH HAIR.
Jamie Cooper And is Mexican isn’t a ethnicity what am I supposed to call myself?
@@siennacrunchy4345 I dont think straight hair = white, but I think its pretty clear that hair characteristics can be associsted with race? I have never in my life seen a white person with 4c curly hair, generally their hair just doesn't grow like that.

Girl I'm African American and I have longer hair than her. If your hair is short enough that you wear extensions it may be that you are not taking care of your hair or its because of your genes.
I use the flexy brush by Curl Keeper which is made from similar material to the tangle teaser but it has a handle. I love the flexy brush.
I use one called a Tangle Angel and it also has a handle. I def agree to get one with a handle.
LINKS!!!! I would use a tangle teezer if it had a handle
The tangle teezer is my go to when I'm detangling my hair.
Well.. finna buy a tangle teezer
I saw an increase in single strand knots with the tangle teezer over time. I have fine and dense hair. I only use it it like once every couple of months to slick down the front of my hair.
Melissa Quijada I had to stop using mine for that reason.
Brennen Wilson omg it’s a 10 w keratin is the best thing ever
T
I thought it was just me. Aussie tangles me up. I have to use a lot.
You're so right. I bought Aussie "ultra moisturizing" shampoo and conditioner, worst mistake I have ever made in regards to my hair! It's so ridiculously drying to my hair and scalp. They are selling lies.

I prefer the Wet brush changed my life!
Will never ever use a regular brush again.
true! its magic! I used to hate my hair until i got Wet brush its really amazing.

Tangle teasers are a rip off. We have similar brushes here in Uganda for just a few cents. We call them scratchers. Definitely not an original idea.

Girl know that pain of being unable to get my fingers through my hair when it's tangle. I make those depressing sounds and I just want to cry.
Are u from Holland?
DepressoEspresso, is that question directed at me? Then no, I'm from Belgium (Flanders). Why? Why would you think I was from Holland?
Groetjes!

Yeah her comment disturbed me a little, I would have never even thought about "that's for black people" and when she said it in that tone I actually got a chill on my spine. Idk it just made me uncomfortable
Oh my gosh guys.don't make a mountain out of a mole hill
she corrected what she said and we all knew what she meant.
@@thefudgestix It sounded condescending, even though she didn't mean it in any harmful way. Nowadays white people get a lot of shit just for being born white, so y'know

It sounded like it was ripping her hair it hurt to listen too
Emily Gee the bristles cause that noise
It's the sound of static in the hair - naturalspasupplies.co.uk/static-electric-the-hair-the-skin-our-health/
"If you comb your hair with a nylon comb or brush you can hear the crackling sound of static and the hair can become quite unmanageable. Not only is it unmanageable, some of it is lost to the plastic comb!"
I swapped to a horn comb and TEK wooden brush and don't hear this anymore when I brush.
@@crums0nMyJ4cket thanks for the info, its static. So a seamless comb isn't any better? I read some people put hairspray on their brush to help with static.
