It's amazing how the brains on just one person can totally transform guitar tar amplifiers while retaining all that vintage goodess we are all so hooked on
Carr Skylark = Best BlackFace Style Amp I have ever owned. It outdoes my old 64' Bassman and then some. Like a Super Reverb at Bedroom Levels. Amazing Build Quality. Just awesome.
I'm proud to represent Carr amps. The song you hear from the begining of the video to nearly the end of it belongs to my new album due to be released this next spring. Just the playback though.. It's been recorded entirely with Carr amplification. The Artemus has been the main amp used for the recording sessions but on the record you could also be listening to a Sportman, a Mercury and a Raleigh. Carr is just amazing amplification. I can't play through any other thing. Enjoy the tour!
What's your band name . I'm always keen to check out albums where Carr amps have been used . At least I know the guitarist is serious about tone ...big box ticked lol
Nice information on Carr, I think it would be so much better if you dropped the back ground music. Can't understand why so many see the need for noise in the back ground.
Ed King from Lynyrd Skynyrd (RIP) used the Mercury V, and the Rambler. You can hear the sweet Tone of his Carr amps on a few TH-cam Videos here, especially the One with Marty Schwartz called "Ed King's Guitar Collection | Marty's Guitar Tours" its a great Video, but ffw through to the playing segments to hear the Carr Amps.
Thanks for making good amps! I can feel your passion for guitars and tone! I'am a better guitarist for sure with my mercury v because I feel that I have something special!
I still play the crap out of my HammerHead Mk II. Brilliant sound and quality! And definitely a must-have if you don't like your neighbors.. and their neighbors... and their neighbors... and their neighbors. (yeah, they're LOUD).
I* still love my Hammerhead...Steve made me a purple head only...I play it through a Marshall 4x10 and my Epiphone LesPaul Jr which is just like the red SG that was the "shop guitar" in 2003 when they made my amp...replaced the tubes after 10 years...still rocks awesome...dodn't need no stinking reverb!

Thanks for the video Steve, always glad to spend a heap on an amp if it's great quality and sounds brilliant which do.
Rock on
Absolutely.

I agree with yellowhorse52
It's all about the vibe , Carr has vibe just look at the amps, bloody works of art.
Truly an incredible product.

Good tour but I would have liked to hear the guy testing them in the sound room.

I thought this was about "car" amplifiers at first and was going to ask how they get away with claiming 3000 watt amplifiers?
