Ohhhhh, there’s that beautiful arrangement of garden tools and LOVE that ochre-colored apron! Looking sharp, Allen! That is just such a beautiful setting for your teaching videos--well, EVERY setting you use is spectacular! Thank you for such excellent continuing education!

I appreciate you talking about zones for peonies. In Denton ,TX., there was a funeral home that had the most beautiful Sara Bernhardt peonies growing against the house, in full sun, crawling with ants! Thanks for the memory!

Very beautiful arrangement! I was in a big box store and saw this done with succulents I almost picked them up, but on closer inspection they were glued in without soil? So I passed and was rather sad that all these cacti had been used in such a temporary way. Great video I really enjoyed it what a beautiful centrerpiece that will make.

Hello! You are so creative. I love the way that you use flowers and plants to make something beautiful. You have an excellent eye for taking things that others would discard and making it an art form. Thank you for teaching and explaining how we can see things in a new way and bring out the beauty in them.

Wonderful video! Thank you for taking the time to explain so much about the different plants. I live in South Central Illinois our in the middle of nowhere (on the prairie) and we have panted prairie grasses and flowers around our home and we love them. I also have some beautiful peonies and a couple of butterfly bushes for our bees. Again, thank you for taking the time to explain wonderful perennials!

Mr. Allen I just subscribed I see you on the channel 13 create sometimes but find in watching your video just now you're very humorous I like your sense of humor I like the way you do things is just a great video I learned more about I love Penny I think they're beautiful gorgeous there's not too many flowers that don't like I love stock for one thing it smells so good freesia it smell so good roses when they used to have a beautiful fragrance and some still do working a floral area sometimes I've noticed a lot of flowers have lost their scent I'm sure it because it's commercially grown and not the highest dollar anyway thank you so much for sharing and I will try to watch for your videos from now on thank you again

I truly enjoy learning from you Allen. Thank you. So you aren't going to give the pumpkin house count. I'm so curious! Love your arrangement and using the pumpkins for planters. Would be nicer to live in warmer weather. We're certainly feeling the chill in the air here in Chicago and I'm not a lover of that. Keep up the good humor! 😊

Hello I’m Brendan from Michigan 6a. Is the red spider lily hardy to my zone? Or more specifically lycoris radiata. I have found different answers from many reliable sources. It is my first winter experience with them and experimenting with the bulbs in different types of sheltered locations. Any info on this beautiful flower in my zone is appreciated.

You can, but I typically don't recommend it for a plant that will thrive decades to come.

A public friend of mine had a terrible accident, slipping on ice that was near her SUV. She was in a bad way. I bought a bouquet of flowers for her. They said they delivered them yet months later when I saw her, she never got them!
