I even maintain a notebook where I take notes of your tips (while watching your videos) so even when I can't use the laptop, I have your tips already written down for me to follow. I often go through those tips and try following them. Actually, my whole self-study routine is based on your tips! Do I like taking notes? Absolutely not. BUT when I came across your vid from long ago about that note-taking method where I had to divide my page into three separate parts, MY GHAD I LOVED IT. Hey big sis, it's nice to see you again! I haven't been here in a while but this was just what I needed. I just did my first quiz of the year and it was so mini but I waited till the last minute and tried to review. But settling into res again and getting into the flow of things meant I hadn't had time to properly review and test my knowledge. I realize now that I've been focusing so much on trying to take down notes when I should be focusing on learning, using notes to re-establish my understanding and test my knowledge. I'm so totally in love with my courses, whether its geology, geography, statistics, genetics or sustainability, I really am loving them all and I want to learn them. This focus on note-taking wasn't allowing me to really indulge and critically ponder in them. As always you bring much needed knowledge and with such amazing timing. Hey Faye, My name is Ray and I'm currently a 10th grader from India. So, When I reached 9th grade (which was right after those 2 years of online classes), My dad got a transfer and we had to move to another state. Hence, I lost all my friends that I made during those 10 years when I used to live in my home state. I was upset because I never really wanted to leave but since I had to, I had a bit trouble adjusting to the new academy and people. I felt lonely and I wasn't okay mentally too. Thus, My grades started dropping. I went from a 'Straight A' student to a guy who was always last in class. But when I started watching your videos, I had the motivation to actually do better in school. I've been using your tips and it helped me get pass 9th grade with good marks. Hey Faye Can you maybe make a video to show how to study a language?? I have to study words and verbs, I'm good at languages to not fail and get above a 70% yet I want to improve. Hey Faye, I'm a high skl student and recently I have been getting very low marks. I have a very strict dad when it comes to my student life. And he wants me to score well like I used to score b4 (well, I want that as well). Which is beneficial for me. I do take notes in classes. But some my teachers, like my bio teacher do teach well, but quite fast as well due to which I end up missing some points regarding the particular topic. Now that CAN affect my grades. The way u showed how we can take notes easily seems so helpful for me that I'll definitely take my notes this way. I'm pretty sure it can not only help students like me who want go back to her right track back, but also to others. My midterms will be held by like Oct or Nov this year. I'll take note this way till my midterms and I promise I'll update abt how much did it help me in scoring good grades. Srsly, thanks a lot!

I often go through those tips and try following them. Actually, my whole self-study routine is based on your tips! Hey big sis, it's nice to see you again! I haven't been here in a while but this was just what I needed. I just did my first quiz of the year and it was so mini but I waited till the last minute and tried to review. But settling into res again and getting into the flow of things meant I hadn't had time to properly review and test my knowledge.
I realize now that I've been focusing so much on trying to take down notes when I should be focusing on learning, using notes to re-establish my understanding and test my knowledge. I'm so totally in love with my courses, whether its geology, geography, statistics, genetics or sustainability, I really am loving them all and I want to learn them. This focus on note-taking wasn't allowing me to really indulge and critically ponder in them. As always you bring much needed knowledge and with such amazing timing. I'll do my best to take your advice!*

Not only that I like using notes, I LOVE IT! I've been taking detailed notes since 6th grade, and now (I'm in uni) it is my main (and only) way to memorize something.
I just don't know how u are always there with the content i needed. Today is my birthday and i was so frustrated about how my notes looks. Now I feel better because I think this video we help me alot!

My name is Ray and I'm currently a 10th grader from India.
So, When I reached 9th grade (which was right after those 2 years of online classes), My dad got a transfer and we had to move to another state. Hence, I lost all my friends that I made during those 10 years when I used to live in my home state. I was upset because I never really wanted to leave but since I had to, I had a bit trouble adjusting to the new academy and people. I felt lonely and I wasn't okay mentally too. Thus, My grades started dropping. I went from a 'Straight A' student to a guy who was always last in class. But when I started watching your videos, I had the motivation to actually do better in school. I've been using your tips and it helped me get pass 9th grade with good marks. Can you maybe make a video to show how to study a language?? I have to study words and verbs, I'm good at languages to not fail and get above a 70% yet I want to improve. As I was a smart kid I never learnt how to study words or verbs of anything of that sort when trying to study a language (egg. dutch, french, ...). I'm a high skl student and recently I have been getting very low marks. I have a very strict dad when it comes to my student life. And he wants me to score well like I used to score b4 (well, I want that as well). Which is beneficial for me. I do take notes in classes. But some my teachers, like my bio teacher do teach well, but quite fast as well due to which I end up missing some points regarding the particular topic. Now that CAN affect my grades. The way u showed how we can take notes easily seems so helpful for me that I'll definitely take my notes this way. I'm pretty sure it can not only help students like me who want go back to her right track back, but also to others. My midterms will be held by like Oct or Nov this year. I'll take note this way till my midterms and I promise I'll update abt how much did it help me in scoring good grades.
