Towards the end he becomes a mastermind. Like when he smiles at the cops puts on a mask and blends in with the protesters. Then he goes back to the cops taking off his mask and does a little dance when the protesters beat up the cops.
As I told my dad when we went to see it... this is the jokers uprising.... Joaquins joker could easily turn into the comic book version. It’s only a back story, it’s literally just the beginning.....

I never felt the need to lean in on an interview until today. I drew closer to the screen to hear exactly what they were saying. He has such a down to earth feeling about him and she just eased me through the whole conversation by being so eloquent and well tempered. Excellent interview.

I always liked joker but there were parts where he actually made me feel uncomfortable and weird it out which is what your supposed to feel very good movie
yea I felt the same way, I liked it I watched it twice, but some parts were disturbing like weird, like when he killed the three rich kids, starts running then hides in a bathroom and then he starts doing that creepy dance that’s fucking weird, I think it was also the music sometimes, that orchestral music had a lil unpleasant rhythm idk

The King of Numbers but it does raise awareness about mental health to an extent because speaking about mental problems is almost like a taboo in our society. If you have a mental illness everyone expects you to act like you don’t have one, and if you can never speak about it to friends or loved ones and only a therapist how are people who can’t afford a therapist supposed to improve? The movie sheds light on many problems that aren’t spoken about often and that’s why I love it; it’s thought provoking and controversial. It’s not just another safe origin story about a mindless villain who wants to cause chaos for no good reason.
I must say, she did an amazing job in this interview. She listened and she paid attention to her guest's reactions. She was funny and polite and just perfectly pleasant.
The interviewer was so grateful when she got a compliment from him. XD It was really funny. Like she was expecting him to be a difficult interviewee or something.

Smitty yeah, it was sad how skinny he was but I felt as if it went so well with his character. The way his bones sticked out when he danced around and made his ‘strange’ movements...really brought chills down my back

yea I felt the same way, I liked it I watched it twice, but some parts were disturbing like weird, like when he killed the three rich kids, starts running then hides in a bathroom and then he starts doing that creepy dance that’s fucking weird, I think it was also the music sometimes, that orchestral music had a lil unpleasant rhythm idk
I dont wanna see Joaquin in a sequel. It will hurt this movie. Sequels go sour.

When he decides to refeed muscle memory + low dose testosterone cycle will have him back to normal within 2 months.

The King of Numbers but it does raise awareness about mental health to an extent because speaking about mental problems is almost like a taboo in our society. If you have a mental illness everyone expects you to act like you don’t have one, and if you can never speak about it to friends or loved ones and only a therapist how are people who can’t afford a therapist supposed to improve? The movie sheds light on many problems that aren’t spoken about often and that’s why I love it; it’s thought provoking and controversial. It’s not just another safe origin story about a mindless villain who wants to cause chaos for no good reason.
I must say, she did an amazing job in this interview. She listened and she paid attention to her guest's reactions. She was funny and polite and just perfectly pleasant.

Just watched it and he nailed everything, felt uncomfortable,confused and believe the jokers crazy, and I love that the directors didn’t stereotype the joker. Such a unique movie definitely one of the best movies I’ve seen in a long time
