Hey bro. Couldn’t NOT comment watching you squeeze those lemons. Use a fork; plunge the fork into lemon and turn. Keep tru ing and moving fork. Also, use a small strainer to catch seeds. Pull seeds out then add pulp to juice. I’d also suggest thickening using a slurry at the end. Much easier than adding cornstarch the way you did.
Hey James, I like using my hands, it was me and my wife's dinner so whatever germs I've got she's got em' already. If I was cooking for guests I break out my lemon squeezer. This recipe is not mine, as I stated in the video it's from another TH-camr called Taste of Asia (I put a link to his video in my description box). I used to do it the way you mentioned making a slurry. But I like his method cause it lets me customize the sauce exactly the way I like it. I find it easier to adjust the sauce this method rather than tasting it while it's still hot. I should've made my point clearer but I'm still new to all this. It's not far off from actual lemonade lol. I will do a salt and pepper squid, that's on the works. I have a salt fish and chicken fried rice done already. It's in the Chinese food playlist 👍
