Hi Sandra - thank you 😊 😊 it’s a nice simple one but I think most people learning to crochet want to make a flower at some point 🌸 Wow, 70 years of crochet ❤️ I often feel like crochet has so much to offer that I will never reach a point where I feel like I know everything or have tried everything, there is always something new to learn or a new technique to try out. It’s lovely to meet you! 👩🏻🦼Wheelie
Thank you ☺️ I’m so glad you liked it! To attach the flowers to the cable I arrange them over the leaves, pin them in place, then sew them on with the yarn from the charger cover. I keep the stitches hidden by only working into the bottom of the flowers. I am not a very neat sewer! But I find using the yarn I used for the leaves hides my messy stitches. I do have a cable that I’m sewing flowers onto at the moment and I could film it if you would rather see it?
@@wheeliemadeitcrochethiii! i know it’s been a while but i would love to see you did it! i already watched your vine video and i’m currently doing the flowers! but i rlly dont know how to sew them together (still a newbie) so i would love to see your way of doing it!❤️
@@iconic_titties Hey Meruu, I’m sorry I didn’t reply sooner, I didn’t see your message until today. I’m really thrilled that you like the pattern and are making one yourself! 😃 Do you still need some help attaching the flowers? I’ve come down with covid, so I’m not feeling up to making a video for a few more days, but after that I could make you a demo if you’d still like one. Wheelie
Hi there - I sewed the flowers on. If you sew them to the leaves you have a bit of room to sew and you won’t risk damaging the cord with your needle. I sew with the yarn I use to cover the cable, so my stitches don’t show on the leaves, and I keep the stitches hidden on the underside of the flower so you can’t see them from the top of the flower. I hope that helps! 😊 Wheelie 👩🏻🦼
I was really discouraged because I couldn't understand any tutorials for even basic things like the magic circle, and I just wanted to share with you that I just learned a bunch of things, I even crocheted the vine on my charger. Thanks a lot, you are great! ❤️
Thanks so much ❤️ I know that feeling, when I was learning to crochet magic circles took me *ages* to learn and feel confident with! I felt like every tutorial just left me more confused until a friend showed me the method I still use now. I’m really happy that I was able to help you - your message definitely made my day 😃😃 Wheelie

How did you put the flowers? Did you crochet it? Or did you use glue or something?

But HOW do you sew on the flowers? I'm a beginner, and I'm struggling to find a way to securely fasten them to the cord
