I've watched many videos of this exact same project that had detailed vocal instructions but I could never manage to do this, somehow just watching you slowly craft is what helped me, did it in two tries, thank you for a successful first project!

Appreciate your response back.. so far today I have made 3 flowers. I am adding them to hats I have knit for the homeless. We live in central Canada. and our winters are frigidly cold so hats are needed by all and one with a little flower decoration make them special. If you're using a thicker yarn, then maybe add more chains like 8 instead of 6 when beginning that way your petals don't look crowded. Or, if your petals look too spaced apart, then use less beginning chains! ❤
I love how simple this tutorial is! I struggled a few times but in 2 tries was able to memorize the steps because of how much you simplified them, and in less than 2 hours I made 6 flowers! Thanks

I crocheted (if that is even a word) the flower but somehow lost a petal on the way, 10/10 would recommend. The teaching is clear and follows along with the student crocheter (crocheter probably isn’t even a word either lol)❤ I love how cute it is.
