I do every step in your video, and everything is successful until i look in the "Unknown Sources" in my library none of my apps are there. I have tried several apps and cannot get any to show up here. Please help!

Hi, Thanks for the helpful video! I was able to follow the steps successfully and got it installed on my Go (after much trouble). However, I can't get the Go to connect to my PC - on the Go, it's stuck at "Connecting to RiftCat Application" and on the PC "Seeking connection". I have tried both WiFi and USB modes and neither move the process forward. It seems like it just can't find my Go.
I installed the file by right clicking, but when I went to test it in command prompt, it doesn't find the file. I also tried searching for the file as listed and it doesn't even exist. Help! None of the tutorials tell me what to do in this instance.

Is there anyway to disable the "no casting" for certain apps that wont allow casting. For example "Face your fears" will not allow casting. A message is displayed. Can this be diactivated in developer mode? How can this be done or point me in the right direction. thanks

if the pc still isn't reading your oculus go after you put it on and give it access try using the micro usb cable from your phone instead of the one that came with your oculus go.
Have you made a video on how to uninstall an app on your oculus go? Also, once an app is uninstalled, can it then be reinstalled at any time for free.?

Can oculus go browser show locally saved html files / websites? We have developed a 360 degree image web application with "aframe" library. Now we want to know before buying an Oculus GO if it is possible to transfer the html and javascript to the Oculus GO with the USB cable in a folder and than load the web application (index.html) with the Oculus GO browser from this local storage. This is needed because we would like to show some clients the web application and often they have no internet connection or the wlan is not available or secured to create an internet connection. Do someone have the right answer? Or could someone test this on his Oculus GO if he can save any index.html with some content and browse this file with the Oculus GO browser.

They don't WANT us doing this without the tech knowledge though, because for better and worse their approach is very heavy curation. And sideloaded apps are often not suitable for those of us unable to meet this level of command prompt uses.

I wouldn’t do this. If the instructions wasn’t written on this device, that means if you take it upon yourself to add software that was not included on your Oculus Go, you can cause the device to malfunction or damage the battery. So use your good judgment, if the instructions on the Oculus Go doesn’t mention these steps than it’s NOT for the device. I wouldn’t do you will eventually destroy the unit.
Honestly this seems like a lot of work to get the Go to run Steam VR Games. Just get a Mixed Reality Headset and call it a day. No BS to get to work. designed to work with SteamVR. Add Revive and you can also play Oculus Store Games.

I got it to work, i was just frustrated cause on windows 7 it seems more of a challenge, i used an executable and some usb driver and got it to work.

After you connect it, put on the oculus go to authorize the connection

I think it is impossible. WebVR pages use APIs, not simple HTML and most of them do not work locally (nether on your PC).

Oculus need to provide an easy way to do this as a feature of the headset...
