Great guide on one of my favorite guns Mo. I woke yesterday to my daughter playing NV and she was in vault 34 actually and she didn't know what to do. i told her to watch your video, she got through it after watching she then proceeded to watch a couple more of your guides and exploits used them as well and told me she is subbing to your channel for how well you lay you're content out to follow, after she gets through NV she's doing FO3 and gonna apply your content to her playthrough. I know I didn't have to say all this I just thought it was cool cause she was in the same place as your video, she then got mad at me for not telling her about your videos sooner lol.

I took Boone with me down into the vault, I got to the armory and said “did I miss something?” When the All-American wasn’t on the flipped table, so I checked Boone’s inventory and he claimed it for himself before I could grab it. Luckily I was able to get it back from him.
Yeah, Boone does that just like many others. Strangely many have found Boone to basically go for the weapon almost always when going down into the Vault.

It's by far one of the most difficult vaults in the game and it can easily take a fair amount of support items to get through. That said it's also a great weapon and totally worth getting.
I was going at the vault on very hard mode on my soldier character with a hunting shotgun, 9mm, 10mm, assault carbine, This Machine, and a service rifle. I had so many damn bullets and ran out of ALL of them by the end.

To anyone doing this for the first time. SAVE BEFORE YOU ENTER THE ARMORY. First time i entered i looted everything thinking i hit the motherload, not noticing the All American bugged under the flipped table it lays on. Definitely a sigh of relief when i noticed i saved right before i opened the armory door.
Yeah. I really wish that I had mentioned that. The All American is notorious for spawning out if thr game world. That sucks, for me personally as its one if my most favourite weapons in NV if all time.

@Rayhantv you can come prepared before entering the vault bring some Rad X, Rad Away and wear the Radiation Suit ☢️ you can purchase one for cheap from Blake in Crimson Caravan Company. He sells them regardless of level you’re at. Since this place is irradiated.

@thirdanimator3347 That is totally normal. I do eventually find my way around after some time, but I can never remember exactly where to go and what to do. The All American Vault is a prime example of a Maze Vault.

So apparently raul will sometimes pick up the all-American if you have them as with companion because he just did in my game and I was panicking cause I thought the all-American fell through the floor
Yeap, that can be a scary moment. Companions and many other hostile NPCs can randomly pick up a weapon from the floor and start using it. I guess we should be thankful that ghouls don't use weapons, otherwise the All American would probably not be there for alot of folks. This weapon also happens to be a really good all rounder weapon too.

@@TrappedInFallout i honestly managed to use that set at full only closer to end game since it took me time to collect it all. All American for long and mid range, medical stick for close range, that gun for mid range, when i have no ammo or feel like using it, rocket launcher and Molotov when I'm outnumbered or when companions getting heavy injured and i need to drive away enemy so they would heal, boxing glows for not serious targets on which i don't wanna waste ammo at. Also i use it when i face legioners or devils armed with melee because you know, honour among the warriors 🗿.
@alexref6074 I love how you switch up weapon, awesome playstyle. I personally love snipping and sneaking. So I tend to wait out, line up my shoots and go to town. Sometimes I don't ise VATs at all, all long rage shots.
@@TrappedInFallouti prefer more close mid distance combo but the part with " using Molotov and rocket launcher when outnumbered or companions heavy injured" happened kind of offen since companions had intention to Rush into the battlefield (expect of Boone) happend so offen that durning 2nd battle for hoover dam when couple of legioners jumped me and they suddenly stood for a second which was somehow perfectly timed with me hearing " I'll see you soon Rafaela" in a distance that it felt like legioners was already aware of what's going to happen next and holded still for a second just like they all thought "oh no, not again"

It's sort of my like my personal default for all situation unless if k get a bit frisky and pull out my big bad boy and then no one is safe (by big bad boy I meant a grenade launcher but I am sure that's also what you thought). Quick tip, if you’re with a companion and I can’t see it it’s because the companion automatically picked it up. I was stuck trying to look for it for a good hour until I checked Boone and found it in his inventory
It’s possible for the gun to fall through the map (it happened to me and i looked it up) you can go into 3rd person to pick it up from under the map sometimes but if that doesn’t work load a save and it should be there
Yeap, your absolutely right. When folks comment on my video saying that they don't see the gun, I usually ask them to reload the game and try again and that usually fixes the issue.
Haven't played in years. I stumbled into this vault today it about level 10. I got out with 3 radaways and about 6 stimpacks left. Ed-E was a life saver. I has to use the 10mm subs provided. I ran out of ammo for That Gun and the caravan shotgun was useless. Now I have the All American.
The All American is a great weapon. It's a solid all rounder for both short, mid and long range. It fires off a fair amount of bullets and take take down a few Deathclaws before they even reach you. It's a very practical weapon for a commondo like style but fits well with other builds too.
It's most certainly is. I had to do a few dry runs before I actually recorded the video. I could have taken shortcuts also in the vidoe but opted to going the long way round. Thanks for watching, I'm happy that it helped.
This place is a radiation sponge. Taking a RadX does help, I tool one and it worked wonders....but then there are the ghouls which are another world of problems.

Hey Simon, it totally depends. I go with with TB recommends which is usually 9pm on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. But that changes week to week also. I'm thinking of just sticking to one time now but still thinking about it. That said, thanks Simon for stopping by and watching my video.
Fast shot, Kamikaze, Grunt, Bloody mess, math wrath, finesse, action boy x2, grim reapers sprint, nerves of steel, better criticals, commando, sniper, concentrated fire and as much crit as you can manage from gear. 135 AP and the gun will only use 9 AP per shot thanks to math wrath/fast shot for 15 shots total in vats which synergizes with concentrated fire to let you hit stupid far away targets. If for some reason you run low on AP you can just cheese grim reapers sprint to regenerate 20 AP per kill or hide and let nerves of steel raise your AP back to full quickly. It's completely busted if you build to abuse it in VATS like this. Also, everything described only takes to level 28.

The overseeer just doesn't spawn for me, thus I can't get his password. Tried 3 times, I reloaded 3 different saves from before I entered the Vault :'( I guess I'll come back when I have 80 science.
Strange, sometimes the NPCs actually fall through the world but if you have save files before entering the vault then I would have thought that it should work. Science might be your key here.

@@TrappedInFallout ya I liked it as a sniper rifle for a little bit but my favorite was the hunting rifle. Maxed one out and I loved it. No weapon sway when you aim down the scope like all the other guns and great damage output. It was my assassin rifle. Especially for the ncr president. Fun times
I followed all the steps to get the All-American but after I defeated all the feral ghouls I couldn’t find it so I considered reloading a save before I got to the room because I thought one of the glowing ones knocked it back using that radiation explosion attack to somewhere in the room I was to blind to see but before I did I checked Boone’s inventory to see if he took it because I was outside the room killing one of the ghouls while he was in the room taking out the other two and it turns the mf took it but I got it back of course
Nope, it should be on the floor. If not then it may have glitched through the floor or if you have a companion with you then they may have picked it up. You can try restarting the Vault and see if that helps.

@brianblackwood07 Ah if you can't find it then there is a small chance that it may have fallen beneath the game floor and which case you may not be able to get it. You can try reloading a save file before you went into the vault for the first time. This weapon is not tied to any specific level or anything like that.
There are no other spawn locations. If ou went down there with a companion then check their inventory tory as they may have picked it up. It may have also spawned through the floor and if so go back and save reload in the room and it may spawn in.
Tip from the year 2024, do not give Boone a fucking anti-material rifle with fucking Explosive Rounds because he shot the goals in that room for me and the gun disappeared luckily the game autosave When you entered into the Armory so I just reloaded and there was there but still
The gun can sometimes fall through the floor. Try taking a companion into the room and they may find it. Or take Dogmeat and ask him to find a weapon and that might work.
Holy, now that's an achievement. It's very difficult at times to travel into this vault even at high level, doing it at level 4 is pretty awesome, nice one Goodell.
It's certainly one of my personal favourites. It's an awesome all rounder weapon. Great at both close and long range, does a good amount of damage too.
You should start doing some shorts on small guides like how to get to certain locations faster in all fallout games. I known this is a bland idea but I’m just thinking.
@@thehunter5607 That's actually a pretty solid idea. I have actually been thinking about it alot recently in terms of introducing Shorts on my channel. But I'm in two minds, I don't really want to introduce the Shorts format. So I'm still thinking about it as it may also be beneficial to introduce Shorts and see what happens. Maybe one Shorts a week.

@@TrappedInFallout i honestly managed to use that set at full only closer to end game since it took me time to collect it all. All American for long and mid range, medical stick for close range, that gun for mid range, when i have no ammo or feel like using it, rocket launcher and Molotov when I'm outnumbered or when companions getting heavy injured and i need to drive away enemy so they would heal, boxing glows for not serious targets on which i don't wanna waste ammo at. Also i use it when i face legioners or devils armed with melee because you know, honour among the warriors 🗿.
@alexref6074 I love how you switch up weapon, awesome playstyle. I personally love snipping and sneaking. So I tend to wait out, line up my shoots and go to town. Sometimes I don't ise VATs at all, all long rage shots.
@@TrappedInFallouti prefer more close mid distance combo but the part with " using Molotov and rocket launcher when outnumbered or companions heavy injured" happened kind of offen since companions had intention to Rush into the battlefield (expect of Boone) happend so offen that durning 2nd battle for hoover dam when couple of legioners jumped me and they suddenly stood for a second which was somehow perfectly timed with me hearing " I'll see you soon Rafaela" in a distance that it felt like legioners was already aware of what's going to happen next and holded still for a second just like they all thought "oh no, not again"
@alexref6074 I know the feeling. As much as I love sneaking around I do tend to carry around Rifle weapons for when there is no chance for me to hide after being spotted.

Hey Reckless, yeah this is a pretty awesome weapon. It's sort of my like my personal default for all situation unless if k get a bit frisky and pull out my big bad boy and then no one is safe (by big bad boy I meant a grenade launcher but I am sure that's also what you thought). Quick tip, if you’re with a companion and I can’t see it it’s because the companion automatically picked it up. I was stuck trying to look for it for a good hour until I checked Boone and found it in his inventory
Yeah that's happened to me a few times. Sort of like a pleasant surprise after a long moment of pure frustration.
It’s possible for the gun to fall through the map (it happened to me and i looked it up) you can go into 3rd person to pick it up from under the map sometimes but if that doesn’t work load a save and it should be there
Yeap, your absolutely right. When folks comment on my video saying that they don't see the gun, I usually ask them to reload the game and try again and that usually fixes the issue.

Haven't played in years. I stumbled into this vault today it about level 10. I got out with 3 radaways and about 6 stimpacks left. Ed-E was a life saver. I has to use the 10mm subs provided. I ran out of ammo for That Gun and the caravan shotgun was useless. Now I have the All American.
The All American is a great weapon. It's a solid all rounder for both short, mid and long range. It fires off a fair amount of bullets and take take down a few Deathclaws before they even reach you. It's a very practical weapon for a commondo like style but fits well with other builds too.

I used a lot of rad away in here..even with a advanced radiation suit
This place is a radiation sponge. Taking a RadX does help, I tool one and it worked wonders....but then there are the ghouls which are another world of problems.
I've just finished a hardcore play through..and I'm finishing off some trophies like 10k food n stimpacks for healing,a lot of trophies disappeared when I swapped ps3 consoles..weird and really annoying,guna start all the dlc soon..im going to buy fallout 4 with all dlc included + skyrim and all dlc together for black friday..only £26

Fast shot, Kamikaze, Grunt, Bloody mess, math wrath, finesse, action boy x2, grim reapers sprint, nerves of steel, better criticals, commando, sniper, concentrated fire and as much crit as you can manage from gear. 135 AP and the gun will only use 9 AP per shot thanks to math wrath/fast shot for 15 shots total in vats which synergizes with concentrated fire to let you hit stupid far away targets. If for some reason you run low on AP you can just cheese grim reapers sprint to regenerate 20 AP per kill or hide and let nerves of steel raise your AP back to full quickly. It's completely busted if you build to abuse it in VATS like this.
Also, everything described only takes to level 28.

@@carmineBigtown Good old Legion, the wasteland would be a little boring without them but a number of NPCs would be more grateful. I like to be buddies with them until I surprise them with a little bit of Mercy pounding.

The overseeer just doesn't spawn for me, thus I can't get his password. Tried 3 times, I reloaded 3 different saves from before I entered the Vault :'( I guess I'll come back when I have 80 science.
Strange, sometimes the NPCs actually fall through the world but if you have save files before entering the vault then I would have thought that it should work. Science might be your key here.

It's basically my go to for an all rounder weapon. Great as an assault rifle and a Sniper rifle.
@@TrappedInFallout ya I liked it as a sniper rifle for a little bit but my favorite was the hunting rifle. Maxed one out and I loved it. No weapon sway when you aim down the scope like all the other guns and great damage output. It was my assassin rifle. Especially for the ncr president. Fun times

I did this exactly step by step, every single step , and it says " requires a key" it won't open!?

I followed all the steps to get the All-American but after I defeated all the feral ghouls I couldn’t find it so I considered reloading a save before I got to the room because I thought one of the glowing ones knocked it back using that radiation explosion attack to somewhere in the room I was to blind to see but before I did I checked Boone’s inventory to see if he took it because I was outside the room killing one of the ghouls while he was in the room taking out the other two and it turns the mf took it but I got it back of course
Yeah, this van happen. Companions can sometimes pick up better weapons and leave us thinking we missed it lol. Happy to see you found it on the end.
So when I got into the equipment room everything was there except the gun? There’s a weapon lock box would it be in there?
Nope, it should be on the floor. If not then it may have glitched through the floor or if you have a companion with you then they may have picked it up. You can try restarting the Vault and see if that helps.
@@TrappedInFallout I’m having this issue right now, does the experience level or gun level matter at all? I’ve gone in and out of the vault plenty times and can’t find it
@brianblackwood07 Ah if you can't find it then there is a small chance that it may have fallen beneath the game floor and which case you may not be able to get it. You can try reloading a save file before you went into the vault for the first time. This weapon is not tied to any specific level or anything like that.

I feel dumb. I killed all the ghouls but didn't use the overseer's pass on the terminal right there in the same room with him.
Trust me, lots of us have been there and done exactly that.

There are no other spawn locations. If ou went down there with a companion then check their inventory tory as they may have picked it up. It may have also spawned through the floor and if so go back and save reload in the room and it may spawn in.

Tip from the year 2024, do not give Boone a fucking anti-material rifle with fucking Explosive Rounds because he shot the goals in that room for me and the gun disappeared luckily the game autosave When you entered into the Armory so I just reloaded and there was there but still
I had no idea, its worth considering stuff like that. It's also why I tend not to give my beloved collectibles to any companions....just in case.

The gun can sometimes fall through the floor. Try taking a companion into the room and they may find it. Or take Dogmeat and ask him to find a weapon and that might work.

Holy, now that's an achievement. It's very difficult at times to travel into this vault even at high level, doing it at level 4 is pretty awesome, nice one Goodell.

@@thehunter5607 That's actually a pretty solid idea. I have actually been thinking about it alot recently in terms of introducing Shorts on my channel. But I'm in two minds, I don't really want to introduce the Shorts format. So I'm still thinking about it as it may also be beneficial to introduce Shorts and see what happens. Maybe one Shorts a week.
