Question for you. Would you be able to continuously get the xp and go beyond level 10 with the xp glitch, and therefore gaining even more perks when rebuilding, or does it need to be specifically level 10?
@@Azelethros_OG You can go all the way up to level 50. I just went up to 10 to keep a little short, otherwise it might have been a long video basically showing the same thing 😄👍
@changvasejarik62 I'm not entirely sure, it's not one that I have heard of before. I would just reset the game or better yet try to use the points and see what happens.
I am so sorry to hear your sad news, SkittleBoi was one of my more earlier supporters on the channel and I really enjoyed our conversations, he was an absolute blessing to have around. I recall speaking to SkittleBoi during one of my live sessions. I hope that everything is as ok as it can be and hope that things go your way. I recall every single one of my interactions with SkittleBoi being a lovely one, I am saddened to hear such tragic news. I hope that you and the family are ok and my wishes and hopes are with your goodself and everyone at home. Once again so sorry for your loss. SkittleBoi will be missed and loved by many.
If you kill Joe Cobb before the other powder gangers show up when you talk to Chet for hours each one of them will have 5000+ leather armors. You have to click the speech/barter option 5000+ times in a process that can take 3-5 hours real time. Enjoy.
That sounds like a pretty awesome glitch. I will have to try it for myself and see what happens. It also sounds like a great source of extra money and kit too. Thanks so much for sharing, much appreciated.
If you are doing the cap consino glitch and waiting 72 hours in game then take the time to buy the stim packs if you are on console can get up to 80 to stim packs before you even leave goodsprings
Note for people planning this for their builds: perks that can be unlocked through levels 1-4 (check the perk requirements to see when it can be unlocked) will be removed when you rebuild your character. As such when build planning, don’t take perks that can be unlocked this early UNTIL you go through the rebuild process (Ex. don’t take confirmed bachelor, lady killer, educated, or comprehension during your initial first 50 levels, instead take it when dong your second 50). This is really important especially when it comes to perks that affect your later planning such as comprehension and educated. Additionally, as those first two perks you take will ALWAYS not matter / not be kept, you’re best off exiting the window and taking swift learner for them, since it will make the grind go faster, on a similar note don’t take skilled in the initial build as it will slow the grind down / make the process take longer. Sure the plus five points to every skill can make build planning a little easier, but if your smart with your skill books or your main build has intelligence of like around 4 or higher you won’t need it anyway.
Hey Courier 6, thanks so much for sharing your tips. I agree, you should try to avoid some of the perks as they sadly don't transfer over. In hindsight I should have mentioned it but decided not to in favour of just showing the trick itself. Yeah, taking Swift Learner early also helps.
Thank you for explaining the actual details. Always respect someone knowing what they're doing. There's no excuse to not have this in the video when the wiki has all this information easily laid out to be copied.
@nobodynothing282 The wiki states that, but if you’ve actually tested it like I have, you’ll realize that it entirely comprises of perks within the first four levels, because they were the only perks the developer thought that people might actually be able to obtain within the tutorial boundaries
@nobodynothing282 Interesting, the common thread there is that they are both dlc perks, so I’m wondering if they and other early game dlc perks all lack the same triggers that the rest of the level 2 and 4 perks do, as they were late additions to the game?
It will take you all the way up to 50 and it will take a while but God the double perks really make sit worth while. You will be a power house by the end or rather beginning of your game.
If you want to do this but still enjoy leveling as you play, simply choose "Here and Now" at any level you want on the second build leaving goodsprings. This will give you 1 level and cancel all your left over exp, letting you start the game at whatever level you want while still having 50 levels of perks. It costs 1 perk but when you have double it doesn't hurt so bad and imho is worth the thrill of leveling as you play.
That's a great point Sic, many thanks for sharing your view and feedback. I agree, leveling up while playing the game does provide that sense of reward and it feels like your progressing forward. Thanks so much for sharing and I hope you enjoyed this video.
Avoid these perks if possible on the first run, they will not carry over: -All level 2 perks -Comprehension -Educated -Entomologist -Rad Child -Run 'n Gun -Travel light -Here and now (Always avoid this perk it's trash) -Tunnel Runner -Edit: I forgot to mention, Don't take intense training either, it technically keeps, but you have to reset your stats for the glitch so it's a dead perk on the first go.
I've heard strong back and burden to bear effects don't roll over. That is to say, the perk still shows up, but the extra carry weight does not get reapplied. I have not tested myself to see if they don't get carried over, so I don't know for 100% sure if this is true.
Oh I didn't realize before, but this comment states "All level 2 perks", and that is incorrect. It is just level 2 perks from the base game. DLC level 2 perks do carry over. Also, no idea why Tunnel Runner is included. I have totally taken that on my first run, and it carried over unless I'm crazy. And it seemed very clear that I was still sneaking faster, so the perk should have been working.

That is amazing. I loved the game before in previous vanilla playthroughs, but will actually get the motivation to play this again while twisting and shattering the usual balance. I just replayed Oblivion recently, whereupon I used the Scroll duplication glitch in that playthrough, with explosively OP results. It's fun to see how I can spice up old games this way. Thanks for showing us these interesting twists.
Hey Chris, thanks so much buddy for checking out my guide. I totally agree, it's a great way to relive some great gaming moments and to also have some newer and more fulfilling experiences. I love it myself personally.
I remember accidentally discovering the scroll duplication glitch way back when the oblivion was non dlc base game long ago. I duped my entire fortune and had a bunch of sigal stones
@@noblej7897 Since this post, I found out from others how to do a "scroll duplication glitch" in Fallout New Vegas, which involves Hotkeying ammo and then using the ammo to duplicate C4, mines, and other weapon's ammo. Really, just part of the same enjoyable spaghetti code.
Do a video about the VERY little known known exploit where you make a quick save right before you get out of good springs. You pull up your pip boy at just the correct timing right before the message pops up, and you know you got it if you see your arm with pip boy stuck infront of your face basically. So you’ll also notice you will be able to assign skill points and special before actually editing your character if you did this correctly. The exploit then proceeds to require you to select the skilled trait. Now once you are done and the original pop up is present once again, your arm should have went down a few inches maybe. You can repeat the rebuild multiple times, and as long as you got the original timing correct with the pip boy you can continuously rebuild while selecting the skilled trait each time. As you’ll slowly notice each time your skills stack and stack 5 points till you eventually hit 100 in all and/or your animation putting up the pip boy finishes. Please mention me in your video about it lol I play Xbox and since I’ve beat multiple times this makes it easy you can stop when ever you feel strong enough to start the game. Can help if you’re trying to roleplay or generally played the game multiple times and the low levels suck alittle.
Ha ha that's a great exploit and I can certainly mention you if you like but it's an exploit that has been around for years. It's not one I ajve covered just yet but I have covered the skill trait glitch in an earlier viceo. And yes, as you say you can use it to get all skills to 100 as well as your specials. I actually do give credit but only when it's something that's totally new to me, otherwise I don't really as it's already been covered in forums, posts, videos etc. That said, many thanks for your suggestion. It's a great one but I am holding onto the video until I start to look at old world blues 😄👍
@@SolidusShadow29 It's a good shout. I already have a video up on my channel called the Skilled glitch for NV that shows this partially working but not this glitch specifically. I may make a video on this in the near future, at the moment I have a few videos already in flight but perhaps straight after.
@@SolidusShadow29 Ah, I was mixing a few things here. But what I was going for was that you can use the perks and level up glitch to basically put points into Intense training to increase your Special points. This is the video I am referring to: th-cam.com/video/zaOxSHqBmnM/w-d-xo.html You can combine this with the 100 stat glitch to also increase your Specials.
I find it's best to set this glitch up once and then save that character. Avoid any gender-based perks, unless you want to be a male character with the Action Girl perk (for example). Then, when you start a new game, you won't have to do a 3+ hour setup over again. I have a thumb drive for my Xbox 360 that has this backed up. It's also good to get perks that need specific stats on the setup, so you don't have to worry about stats on the main playthrough.
Makes sense. You set up the glitch with a number of the initial perks from the first round of level-ups, and then save that as a base, and then make other saves from there on. And then once a few years have passed, and you feel like replaying this game, you can just jump in to leaving Good Springs and avoid the tedium.
Exactly, before leaving Goodsprings, only take perks that are general and good for any character type - ones that you'll always want to have, like Jury Rigging, Long Haul, Finesse, etc. Then, after leaving Goodsprings, customize specific character idea with specialized perks.
Don't forget to get the deck of cards from Ringo first if you want to play Caravan. Also, a throwing spear is a good silent weapon to take out Cobb. Also, also, make sure to make a separate save file after every few level-ups, so later you can start a new game at any level you want. I have save files for level 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50. I take the most general perks first for any kind of build, and then after resetting character when leaving Goodsprings, I pick the perks particular for the specific character build I'm going for.
Thank you so much for your feedback Dead. No lolly gaging on my side. I hand on heart just like to get to the point where possible. It's a mantra I try to keep consistent for all of my content. And thank you so much for your feedback, I feels like I'm on the right path.
Happy Thanksgiving Me Mine. Yeap, its a pretty awesome exploit and will easily allow you to get a number of perks very early on. You can further combine this to get a high number of special stats and extend this for even more effects ha ha. Thanks so much for checking out my video.
The game actually delete the first perk you selected, in this case "Confirmed Bachelor". What's happening is that there's not much to do in Goodsprings, there's no way you could go up to level 4 by just staying there, so Obsidian's team programmed the game to delete the player's lv2 perk soon as he choose to rebuild, this way it looks like a fresh start... But it only delete the lv2 perk, so the XP glitch breaks that completely cause now you can have nearly all the perks before the "rebuild" trick. So, be aware that the first perk you choose will be deleted on the rebuild process.
Ah that's interesting. I really should have mentioned that in the video but opted not to. I actually did but removed it during post editing to make the video a little more shorter. That said I never really thought about why level 2 perks get cut but the rest don't - thanks so much for sharing that, much appreciated.
I've compiled a list through trial and error, the "perks that don't stick section is incomplete. Perks that don't stick after remake; Educated Comprehension Swift Confirmed Bachelor Lady Killer Entomologist Rad Child Run 'n Gun Travel Light Here And Now Hunter Heave, Ho! Rad Child Perks That Will! Jury Rigging Demolition Expert Slayer Silent Running Light Step Bloody Mess Old World Gourmet Friend of The Night(?) Strong Back Shotgun Surgeon And Stay Back Ninja The Professional Cowboy Grunt Them's Good Eating Living Anatomy Finesse Piercing Strike Chem Resistant Chemist Scrounger Purifier Pyromaniac Eye for an Eye Tribal Wisdom Splash Damage Sneering Imperialist Fight The Power Super Slam Stonewall Better Criticals Solar Powered Unstoppable Force Burden to Bear Hit the Deck Adamantium Skeleton Irradiated Beauty Atomic Cannibal Rad Absorption Laser Commander Meltdown
You can also probably combine this with the Max Skills glitch you can do when you leave Goodsprings to not only have every perk you want, but also have every skill set to 100. Then the entire new wasteland will be at your mercy.
It's amazing and crazy how these exploits and glitches exist in these games and how you and others find them! Great guide video to show the step by step for gaining this extra set of perks buddy!😃🤙
Hey Reckless, I agree. Myself and many many others have been playing for years now and it's just something that many have found after hour after hour or playing and breaking. It's a truly epic journey.
Sooo I could use this exploit and essentially go max level and grabbed the perks I wanted, then when I leave good springs I could use the pipboy glitch to max out my skills and then get my double perks after that also. so I'd max out on skills and have a perk at every level also. I have been shown how to create god in this game.
( sharing a glitch to see if others can do it on other consoles and conditions as I'm curious about this and didn't find any mention of this after checking it out via "Google" I recently "discovered" that during the "rebuilding process" when someone leaves "good springs" it is possible to take "logan's loophole" then "level up" above level 30 if you were above level 30 before you do the "rebuilding process" I achieved it when using both the "broken quest" to get my characters to level 50 then also using the "pipboy glitched character rebuilding process" ( I noticed it let me take the trait that caps my level at 30 but when I finished the process my characters kept leveling up getting perks but no skills after 30 )
That's an interesting glitch, I can't say it's something that I ahve heard of before. So effectively you were able to level up but not get any skills points and yet select perks, all while benefiting from Logan Loophole? Or have I misunderstood something.
Many thanks for sharing, I am sure that this will help folks out. If I had thought about it at the time I would have certainly 'borrowed' the weapon instead for sure.
That's awesome, thanks so much for sharing that. I guess you can further take advantage of that by using the duplicate item glitch to get many more of that ammo. Nice one.
Damnn!!!.. it works(FOR REALL), not just this hack but also the max skills from your another video... I doubt it a bit but when i try it boom the glitch activated. I tried it on a new character even though im still ongoing with my first character, but I'll come back to that second playthrough after im done with the first...Thank yu mann now i can play fallout NV with ease🤝🗿👈🏿
Thanks San. It's a great glitch and I am actually planning to hopefully release a video at some point explaing how to perform both glitches as well as some others all at the same time using the same playthrough. I am happy that you managed to get it working, its so OP lol.
Well in my another playthrough the perk and skill hack works at the same time on the same gameplay.. so i guess the others will work too.. hopefully.. thanks againn❤

It's an amazing game and totally worth getting. On average I play this game at least twice a week and I have been playing since the game came out ha ha. It's just a great game.
Ah years of playing and plenty of trying things out lol. But I certainly can't take any credit for this. I don't know who found it originally but I personally have been doing this for a very long time now lol.
It's a great way to effectively get more perks than the levelling up system normally allows. If you switch from female to male the you can also get both Action Boy and Girls perks too.
I remember this glitch there is a whole list of perks that don't disappear when you leave good springs not every perk will stay if I remember correctly
Your absolutely right Freddie. In hindsight I should have provided a list of the perks which don't stay but at the same time I like to make my videos as short and quick as possible. I may make a revised version in the future and if Indo then I will certainly have that in my mind. Many thanks for your comment and support Freddie.
@@freddiebinthaplace2be634 I know the feeling. I am close to finishing off my list of base game content for FNV and at some point will start looking at the DLCs. I have A LOT to say and show when it comes to the DLC.
I just finished the TV show so I went back to New Vegas I forgot how to do the good spring infinite XP to lv up but this one is way faster. Can I combine this whit the skill to. Thanks just subscribed and like
Yes, you can combine a number of glitches at the beginning of the game. I even have a guide for that, here is a direct link to that: th-cam.com/video/ogIWkRCVS14/w-d-xo.html
For your first perk only take perks from dead money, any other lv2 and 4 perks dissapear. Leaving you with one or two less perks. Any perk after lv6 stays The only perks below lv6 that stay are dead money perks
It looks like most lvl 2 perks are removed. Chances are the developers thought about this and programmed the game such that once someone leaves the tutorial area all lvl 2 perks are removed except for the new ones.
Light touch and old world gourmet can be selected at level 2 and level 4 so you actually get a perk each level. Cannibal, junk rounds, in shining armor will keep, too. but light touch and old world gourmet are my favorite .. Swift learner is a waste. 10% faster leveling is not really noticable
Goodsprings is the tutorial area of the game and when leaving you should get the prompt. If not then your game might be bugged. Try again on a new save file just to see if it happens again. If good then load the previous load file again and try again.
Great video! One thing i noticed doing it myself is for some reason i dont think confirmed bachelor or lady killer count if you took them before re-doing your character. So i think theyre a bad choice. Educated also doesnt seem to work. the rest of the perks seem to stay though
Your absolutely right and good spot too. It's something I mistakenly edited out of my final video and forgot to put back in. In short, you have identified three perks which this does not work with. It's still worth doing given all the other perks your character gets. Thanks so much for pointing this out, much appreciated.
@@TrappedInFallout its weird that some of the perks dont work! But definitely a fun and worthwhile trick, most of them seem to work! Just need to figure out the ones that work and youve got an awesome character
@@raptors11111 Yeap, I agree. It's a pretty solid approach given if you get all the perks then you do average out a perk per level. So it's totally worth doing a little learning.
Thank you for the guide it's extremely helpful. I only have one question tho. Does the perk you want have to match the corresponding level or could it be a higher or lower level perk. Like at level 4 when I'm given the new perk option does it have to be a level 4 perk or could I choose another level 2 perk that I liked?
Great question, you can select any perk. I showed levels just so that it would be easier to follow along. So go ahead and pick and perk from any level.
I got really bored so I stopped using Chet once I hit level 20 but it was funny to notice I had over 30k 9mm ammo, 1008 speech successes and 1008 leather armor weighing over 15k lbs. I wish the Helios one glitch never got patched it’s so much faster and gets you hundreds of stimpacks and doctors bags at the same time.
That's absolutely right. I remember using it all the time for the same reason mostly, getting a truck load of healing items. That said, having 30k ammo also sets you up for the entire game especially if you use the ammo swap glitch.
@@TrappedInFallout Yep. Plus with this one you can just be an armor peddler instead of a doctor bag merchant lol just use the perk that lets you fast travel while overencumbered and clear out trader inventories using leather armor as payment.
@@GriffinatorOriginal Ha ha that's very true. Why be a Courier when you can be a beefed up Doctor. Who wants to play as a Messenger, let's build a White Mage instead.
You can make a trans character and get action boy/girl 4 times and get a good lv 50 perk and then B4 leaving goodsprings get the bad karma and reroll to get the bad karma lv 50 perk this channel is awesome 👍😎
Yeap that's right. You can switch out your gender and via the double perks glitch you can get both gender based perks. It's really cool when you think about it. Basically you can use this to 'unlock' perks that otherwise would never be available to you.
Thanks so much Aronas, that means so much to me reading your comment. I really hope to be a go to Fallout channel going forward but for the moment I am trying to enjoy the journey.
Before doing this, there are certain perks that won't carry over to the rebuild. Educated, comprehension and swift learner won't be carried over while jury rigging, demolition expert, slayer and silent running along with the others will
Yes that's right. Sadly some don't transfer over. However it's still a good trade off and the ones that don't transfer are ones that you can take after rebuilding your character.
Another good advice is to get as many of of the agility perks as possible. You see, the agility special Stat can get a 10 with a certain dead money glitch and a return item. Start your playthrough and get a 1 on agility then use those other special points on perception, endurance and luck. Unfortuantely your agility is gonna be a 1 during your leveling up, so every agility based perk is locked out after the reset. Perks like sniper, quick draw and light step perk are good. But the best perks are rapid reload, slayer, the action point regeneration perk, silent running and the most underrated tunnel expert(action boy is a must but i dont know if it works give me a comment)At most you need to be level 28 to reach these perks Edit: the dead money dlc only works on agility(for some reason) meaning you need to get all the casual and parkstroller outfits as possible either from suitcases(not a domino stash) and dressers(big ones not the small ones). Get the return order In the cashier in the villa(the one with the balled hologram on). Go to the machine then drop all the parks and casual wear on the floor except one then wear it while returning it. The outfit will be gone but your agility will be a increased by one then repeat the proses with the other 8 and there you go a plus 10 to agility
@@renegade7548 Thanks for sharing your advicez much appreciated. Yeap, it's a great glitch that I am hoping to cover on the channel soon. As soon as I start to look at DLC content for FNV, I will cover it 😄👍
I found later on some of the perks didn't work like bloody mess so what I did later on was I used console commands to remove them then add them again to add functionality
Just so you know atleast on console you can only stack skilled twice not three times meaning you can pick it and stack it at old world blues it has been half ass patched on console but the perk glitch works fully works anyways what i mean is ive tried the skilled stack glitch at goodsprings but it does not work since the stats it self also reset fully just letting yall know ive put it to the test it wont stay
Oh really, so are you saying that this does work the same way on consoles? Strange but it could be the case, I really wish that I had a console so I could confirm for myself.
@@TrappedInFallout i shouldve taken a video but on console it resets the skills page to what it was it might be because i change my specials on the second phase of the level up so maybe i should try to leave it all them same and see what happens but like that even matters to me anyways because all i need now is skill books since i got STR PER AGL END and INTEL and started with 4 luck all stats now sit at 90 ish at level 48 just need skill books
I managed to get the perk every level without using any exploit. It was a perk in itself & said take this perk early. I think it must be what version of the game it must be as it is not available in FNV Ultimate.
ive come to a conclusion as to why some of the perks transfer over and why some of them do not. its because when you do this glitch the perks you pick cant have any skills or specials attached to the perk, so that means no other requirements other than the level you need. so if you pick any perk that has the level requirement and then a - sign then those are perks you can use. so pick perks that dont have requirements and then when you do the skills glitch you can pick whatever perks you want. the reason certain perks dont carry over is because they have skill and special requirements attached to them. so when you do the glitch that rebuilds your character you lose all your skill points instantly and specials, so whatever perk is attached to said specials and or skills will not carry over.
It's a solid theory but I do think I figured out something else to add. Low level perks don't appear to carry over as the game developers thought no one during the tutorial section of the game is likely to get any other perks so they get removed. Still I will try out your theory and see, thanks for sharing.
Can I do this with max level? Also is there a way to get a perfect character, like all specials 10 and all skills 100? I just did that for fallout 3 & would love to do it with new vegas
Hi Joe, yes you can do this by combing the XP glitch and getting to max level before rebuilding your character. You should be able to use the perk that allows you to raise a special point multiple times during this also to boost your Specials. You can get your skills to 100 also by combing perks and magazines etc as well as taking the skilled perk twice which automatically gives you 10 points at the beginning of the game. I am working on a guide in the background to show just how to do this.
This exploit is even better then the all stats to a hundred at level 1. But at the cost of good springs hating not sure if I can do it. Also the fact that you leave good springs at a really high level just kills the entire beginner part of the game
That's fair enough. Doing this does give you a fair start and not to OP. The double perks does help and having Goodsprings on your good side is a good thing.
Before I take the time to do this. Does anyone know of this glitch works on the Xbox series X version? I don’t have the disc I bought the game and dlc through game pass
I have t start the game yet again as I didn't watch until the end, lol, now I have like 12000 9mm ammo and loads and loads of leather armours, how and where do I get rid of all of those? Plus for me in FNV the few perks I always love are the Long haul perk and rapid reload, do thesei carry over after the charachter rebuild?
Yes, the perks should carry over as they are not level 2 perks (I think). You can sell your stuff at any general store subject to their available caps. I hope this helps, thanks for your comment.
True, I have not gone as far to try it with Old World Blues but during the rebuild in the DLC I do wonder if I can get it to rebuild again for a third time.
Ultimately, by using this exploit you can max out your level and all of your skills and before you leave the start zone. What's more, you can pick up some very hard to get ability-stacked perks early in the game - without having to *keep* your ability score's stacked because you get to re-orient your s.p.e.c.i.a.l. points before leaving the start zone while keeping any perks you _were_ able to get with those ability's stacked (I.E Rad Absorption). A great early start is Long Haul + explorer: so you can have all of those armors (given by the glitch) on your character *and* fast travel to merchants to sell them right after leaving start zone for massive $ boost from square 1.
Nope, not at all. You don't have to follow my exact perk selection, you can make your own choices. And I went up to level 10 just to show how it works. You can go all the way to level 50 if you want.
You know that's interesting and it's not something that I had noticed before. I'll have to check it out and see. How much by? If so then I guess it would make sense.
@@TrappedInFallout sounds times my carry weight is bugy. Last night I consumed buff and beer. But the game keep having me walk slow like I was overweight limit till I saved closed the game and reloaded.

This is even better, from what you said, it’s possible to get all specials to at least 5 points, it would be interesting if you can make a perfect character like this
Yeap, it most certainly will be. It's a video that I have been working on and am looking to create a somewhat follow up video to this to show how you can get 100 in all skills and 10 in all specials. I think its totally doable by taking advantage of a few exploits and glitches.
@@orest395 Oh really, that's not great. I did try it and it was still available for me so I wonder what's happening differently between your game and mine. I will have to try out some experiments and see what happens.
@@orest395 I am trying this setup in a new game, and I think I might know a possibility for why you couldn't keep your specials. Did you try to do ALL the Special training in the first round of level ups, when spamming the barter/speech glitch? I dunno if the game allows you to keep them in the first round, or the second round might overwrite them. I would stick to garnering as many of the normal perks as you can in the first round, and then spamming the Special Training in the second round that occurs when leaving Good Springs. You might be able to keep them then. Also, disregard this if you are using Special Training to be able to get high level perks in the first round. I think those will stay, even if your Special Attributes might not. I actually want to know for sure.
I know if you select here/now you can keep some perks and keep going at lvl 1 but is it possible to do this glitch while still siding with goodsprings? I like those people and I feel bad even joining the powder gang x'D/
Sadly I don't think so. The glitch really is all triggered during the character rebuild phase which only happens at two points in the game. When your leaving Goodsprings and during the Old World Blues DLC. It might be possible to do this in the DLC but I'm not entirely sure.
I did experiment with Intense Training and had some mixed results. It's not something that worked very well on my end since with each loop the Specials do get reset back to base number. I will take another look and see if it's possible.
@oklin2376 I did and did not have much luck. When rebuilding a character all the special points get reset back to base numbers so at the moment it does not feel like it possible to reuse the Intense Training perk.
Why did you take confirmed bachelor at level 2? I have it written down that confirmed bachelor is one of the perks you shouldn’t take during the initial first 50 levels
After using this glitch u can sell 100 leather armor back to him and then wait at least 3 day then he will restock and will have 4980 cap and the repet the process and u will be rich , it nice glitch, and by the way thanks for the glitches
No problem at all, thanks so much for checking out my guides and for your comment. Also, thanks so much for the pointers also. It's something I did know about but did not share as it would have made the video a little too long. That said I am considering doing a 'exploited start guide' so I may cover it. In addition to your steps, you can also amend infinite ammo using the ammo swap glitch.
@@bazookabankai5186 The last time I checked you can only get this via the DLC as it's a DLC kit. That said you can alternatively wait out until the NCR rangers show up but that's probably much latter in the base game.
Ha ha, yeah. I have a similarly sort of thing but also backed up with a save file. So everytime I feel like starting a new playthrough, I load up the save file and set all my perks etc. It's really cool when it works out.
I saved it too, im not gonna do that again. Also, do you think i can get the save file from my xbox to a pc once i have one? I really want to try that with a mod called TTW (Tale of two wastelands)
@@exiledwarden9598 That's a good question. Chances are that you might be able to get the file via USB but chances are that the save file might not work as the type of file generated on an XBox might not be compatible with a save file that a PC generates but honestly I don't know. It's an interesting thought however and you can give it a try and see what happens. Sorry I don't really have an answer for you this time.
It's not something I have tried but in theory yes. As long as you can level up again from the beginning then yes. Heck it may even allow taking up to a third perk per level but I would need to test for myself to be sure.
No problem at all, I'm happy that you found this one good. It's actually a pretty awesome glitch, an easy way to get a lot of perks very early in the game. Thanks again for your comment.
I know this might sound stupid but do u have to speak to trudy? Because i didn't i just went straight to joe ham cobb then i did the store glitch till i was level 10 then rebuilded my character but it said i still had 5 perks after taking them?
Good question. I'm not entirely sure but everytime I had done this glitch I did speak to Trudy first. Also, some early levels glitches don't carry over but the most of the later levels ones do so I would suggest that you try to hit a higher level. Thanks for watching and commenting Joe.
@@TrappedInFallout I did a new playthrough, and did the little trick of taking skilled, and then rebuilding the character and taking skilled again because of the glitch. and I worked my way around the mountains to get chances knife early. Those were the only unique things i did as I didn't take Wild Wasteland for this playthrough. Anyway... around the time I got Camp Mccarran, I stop playing for a long time, and didn't continue my playthrough until like 3 months later. And when I finally started playing the game again, I noticed that I was getting a perk every level once I got to the BOS arc. I still don't know how it happened
It's an interesting thought. I did try it but it does reset the Specials each time you rebuild your character so sadly no. But it's a great theory and it still light under the right conditions.

@Kirasdark19 ah yes. The skilled trait is only available if you have the Old World Blues DLC. That said you don't need it to perform the perk per level glitch.
@Kirasdark19 So this video is showing how to get multiple perks, more than what your normally allowed per level. This is not related to traits. So you don't need the ultimate edition to get more then the normal number of perks. Or am I misunderstanding something here.

@nobodynothing282
The wiki states that, but if you’ve actually tested it like I have, you’ll realize that it entirely comprises of perks within the first four levels, because they were the only perks the developer thought that people might actually be able to obtain within the tutorial boundaries
@nobodynothing282
Interesting, the common thread there is that they are both dlc perks, so I’m wondering if they and other early game dlc perks all lack the same triggers that the rest of the level 2 and 4 perks do, as they were late additions to the game?
I thought level 4 perks were safe because he kept the cannibal perk at 13:18
This is how i make a "lvl 100 character" takes ages but worth it
It will take you all the way up to 50 and it will take a while but God the double perks really make sit worth while.

-Run 'n Gun
-Travel light
-Here and now (Always avoid this perk it's trash)
-Tunnel Runner
-Edit: I forgot to mention, Don't take intense training either, it technically keeps, but you have to reset your stats for the glitch so it's a dead perk on the first go.
Hey Melvin, thanks so much for sharing. In hindsight I should have mentioned it myself. Hopefully your comment will help out folks.
Definitely just saved me from wasting a few perks. Thanks!
I've heard strong back and burden to bear effects don't roll over. That is to say, the perk still shows up, but the extra carry weight does not get reapplied. I have not tested myself to see if they don't get carried over, so I don't know for 100% sure if this is true.
So you can't get perks every level. Most of them are undone when you finalize your character

@@Chris-re3lv it's great for my old 360 console runs of the game
@@TrappedInFallout I'm actually interested in this exploit. When could we expect a video?
@@SolidusShadow29 It's a good shout. I already have a video up on my channel called the Skilled glitch for NV that shows this partially working but not this glitch specifically. I may make a video on this in the near future, at the moment I have a few videos already in flight but perhaps straight after.
@@TrappedInFallout You also mentioned your special could increase. Could you explain?
@@SolidusShadow29 Ah, I was mixing a few things here. But what I was going for was that you can use the perks and level up glitch to basically put points into Intense training to increase your Special points.
This is the video I am referring to:
th-cam.com/video/zaOxSHqBmnM/w-d-xo.html
You can combine this with the 100 stat glitch to also increase your Specials.
That's a great idea and I have to say that I have also done a fair few times since I play with so many different builds. Great advice bud 😄👍
Thanks for sharing all your points, each one very valid and will most certainly be helpful to anyone who reads it. Thanks Mdiem.
Can also just steal that same 22 pistol off the shelf when chet sleeps or just drag it where he cant see you and then pocket it.

No problem at all John, I'm happy that my guide helped. Thanks so much for checking it out and for your feedback.
Hi Mo, a very good and clear guide. Lots of perks which is nice.
Thanks Rony, I appreciate your support and feedback.

I recently "discovered" that during the "rebuilding process" when someone leaves "good springs"
it is possible to take "logan's loophole" then "level up" above level 30 if you were above level 30 before you do the "rebuilding process"
I achieved it when using both the "broken quest" to get my characters to level 50 then also using the "pipboy glitched character rebuilding process" ( I noticed it let me take the trait that caps my level at 30 but when I finished the process my characters kept leveling up getting perks but no skills after 30 )
That's an interesting glitch, I can't say it's something that I ahve heard of before. So effectively you were able to level up but not get any skills points and yet select perks, all while benefiting from Logan Loophole? Or have I misunderstood something.
Just a tip theres a silent 22 on the cash register counter to the left you can Steal inside the goodsprings General store if you don't wanna buy it.
Many thanks for sharing, I am sure that this will help folks out. If I had thought about it at the time I would have certainly 'borrowed' the weapon instead for sure.
If you need ammo for the 22 pistol then the white good springs house next to the gas station has ammo in the kitchen where the cabinet will be

The only perks below lv6 that stay are dead money perks

Light touch and old world gourmet can be selected at level 2 and level 4 so you actually get a perk each level. Cannibal, junk rounds, in shining armor will keep, too. but light touch and old world gourmet are my favorite .. Swift learner is a waste. 10% faster leveling is not really noticable
At higher levels no its certainly not. And there are also plenty of XP sources to negate its effects for the most part.
@TrappedInFallout I did everything but when I left goodsprings the prompt never came up. I only had the endurance to get to level 5. Does that matter
Goodsprings is the tutorial area of the game and when leaving you should get the prompt. If not then your game might be bugged. Try again on a new save file just to see if it happens again. If good then load the previous load file again and try again.

Best Fallout TH-camr out there! 🗣️🔥💯
But the best perks are rapid reload, slayer, the action point regeneration perk, silent running and the most underrated tunnel expert(action boy is a must but i dont know if it works give me a comment)At most you need to be level 28 to reach these perks
Edit: the dead money dlc only works on agility(for some reason) meaning you need to get all the casual and parkstroller outfits as possible either from suitcases(not a domino stash) and dressers(big ones not the small ones).
Oh that's interesting. I did complete a full playthrough and have to admit that I did not see it happen for myself.
@@TrappedInFallout unfortunately no you can stack it once when you go to old world blues tho and if you went my route you wont need it anways
@@Dmanrider Yeap, and you have basically proven that it's possible to get all specials and skills to 100 or very close to it.
@@Dmanrider True again, hopefully something for me to explore when I do get to that part of my video content.
Thank you this is the only one that I tried that works lol wish I seen this long ago
That's awesome Michael, I'm happy that it worked for you. It's a solid glitch and can really give you an upper hand in the game.
If I'm max level and do this glitch do I keep all my 100 skills? Or do it have to do the max 100 level glitch on your other video?
It's totally up to you really. What ever makes you happy really.
I managed to get the perk every level without using any exploit. It was a perk in itself & said take this perk early. I think it must be what version of the game it must be as it is not available in FNV Ultimate.
Actually I'm running the Ultimate version myself. This video was recorded on it. It also came with all the DLC.
ive come to a conclusion as to why some of the perks transfer over and why some of them do not. its because when you do this glitch the perks you pick cant have any skills or specials attached to the perk, so that means no other requirements other than the level you need. so if you pick any perk that has the level requirement and then a - sign then those are perks you can use. so pick perks that dont have requirements and then when you do the skills glitch you can pick whatever perks you want. the reason certain perks dont carry over is because they have skill and special requirements attached to them. so when you do the glitch that rebuilds your character you lose all your skill points instantly and specials, so whatever perk is attached to said specials and or skills will not carry over.
Well done, and expertly detailed to the T.
Thank you so much for your feedback, I do try my best so your feedback is very much welcomed.
Great work Mo as always, my friend
Hey Simon, thanks so much buddy for checking out my guide, I really appreciate it.
As long as you have the Dead Money DLC then it should all work.
This works with the auto-doc in the sink on old world blues?
Sadly no as that does not invoke the PipBoy to appear - it's a one off menu option at the time.
This would be a great use for getting the hardcore achievement easily.
Yes it would. As you can imagine this also helps in many other areas too ha ha.
Doing this and getting 2 of the 3 lvl 50 perks really makes you overpowered, yes you can get 2. Yes its a pain lol.
I wished they'd bring a mod menu to this and fo3 just like Skyrim and fo4
It would just make the game so much better for everyone and it would increase the parity between all platforms. Good shout bud.
Every time I leave goodsprings it doesn't pull up the rebuild character menu oddly enough
That sounds strange. Are you using any mods or anything that might prevent it. That said, perhaps try a reload and see if that helps.
Anyone know if this can be combined with Pipboy/Rebuild Character/ Skill Exploit?
Yes, I made an entire guide on that specifically. Here is the link to it: th-cam.com/video/ogIWkRCVS14/w-d-xo.html
“trapped in fallout” haha it be like that
Lol yeah, it's been like that for a long time now. It's a nice place to be trapped in, lots to see and do and talk about 😄👍
Do i have to follow your exact perk selection? And can i go above lvl10?
Nope, not at all. You don't have to follow my exact perk selection, you can make your own choices. And I went up to level 10 just to show how it works. You can go all the way to level 50 if you want.
Awesome glitch dude, I did not know you can get a perk at every level. That's pretty broken lol.
Ha ha yeah it can be very broken when you think about it. I personally love it. It helps me to get a lot of perks very early on.
So does this work with the intense training perk if so that would mean I can technically have all my special points at ,at least 8 if not more
Sadly no because when you rebuild your character it also resets all special skills points.
Small frame seems to massively lower the carry weight. But it's not in the info of the trait.
You know that's interesting and it's not something that I had noticed before. I'll have to check it out and see. How much by? If so then I guess it would make sense.
@@TrappedInFallout opps my math might have been wrong cause the hoarder trait was giving me - one strength. It might not be lowering carry weight.
@@TrappedInFallout sounds times my carry weight is bugy. Last night I consumed buff and beer. But the game keep having me walk slow like I was overweight limit till I saved closed the game and reloaded.

There is a chance that in your other save file Joe might be much stronger hence why he is harder to take down.
so you could do the skills to 100 glitch and in the same game?
Yes, in fact you could do much more: th-cam.com/video/ogIWkRCVS14/w-d-xo.html
This is even better, from what you said, it’s possible to get all specials to at least 5 points, it would be interesting if you can make a perfect character like this
Yeap, it most certainly will be. It's a video that I have been working on and am looking to create a somewhat follow up video to this to show how you can get 100 in all skills and 10 in all specials. I think its totally doable by taking advantage of a few exploits and glitches.
I tried it and you don’t keep the specials you get from intense training when you rebuild your character
@@orest395 Oh really, that's not great. I did try it and it was still available for me so I wonder what's happening differently between your game and mine. I will have to try out some experiments and see what happens.
The perk that lets you increase your specials?
If you use this with intense training on all but two skills up to nine you can get all specials at 10 and all skills at 100 with the right proses
I did experiment with Intense Training and had some mixed results. It's not something that worked very well on my end since with each loop the Specials do get reset back to base number. I will take another look and see if it's possible.
It's seems that you can take 1 rank and it won't reset it I wonder I it resets other perks you take more than one time ??
@edrector8014 Thanks for trying it put and getting back to email. I will try it out for sure and see what happens.
@@TrappedInFalloutdid you end up testing it?
@oklin2376 I did and did not have much luck. When rebuilding a character all the special points get reset back to base numbers so at the moment it does not feel like it possible to reuse the Intense Training perk.
Why did you take confirmed bachelor at level 2? I have it written down that confirmed bachelor is one of the perks you shouldn’t take during the initial first 50 levels
Interesting, why would you consider not taking that? Level 50 is the max level so you won't be able to select any perks after that anyway.
If I do it and I want to get double perks up to lv 50 do I have to talk with Chet untill I get to level 50 or
Yes, if you talk to Chet and get to level 50, you will get 25 perks. Then exit the town and you will get another 25 perk totally 50 in total.
I unfortunately don't have access the the dlc so I don't think I have access to the skilled perk
Ah oh well. That said this trick does not need the Skilled perk so you can do the glitch in this video without needing any DLC add ons.
@TrappedInFallout thank you , is there way to get elite riot gear without entering the dlc ?? Or is it been sold somewhere?
@@bazookabankai5186 The last time I checked you can only get this via the DLC as it's a DLC kit. That said you can alternatively wait out until the NCR rangers show up but that's probably much latter in the base game.
Can‘t kill him with one shot am i doing something wrong followed the steps😅
No your not, it should work at early game. Perhaps try reducing game difficulty to allow you to do more damage.
Anyone have any data on which perks will stick and which dissapear?
Looks like all the level 2 perks will disappear since they were accounted for when the game was developed. Level 4 perks and onwards should be OK.
You can steal the 22 from the shelf in front of chet instead of buying it..just buy ammo
True but I guess the stock is a little limited.
I once did it all the way to level 50
It was a grind for shure but my curier was ridiculess
Then i got a lot of caps and all gunrunners weapons
Ha ha, yeah. I have a similarly sort of thing but also backed up with a save file. So everytime I feel like starting a new playthrough, I load up the save file and set all my perks etc. It's really cool when it works out.
I saved it too, im not gonna do that again.

@@exiledwarden9598 That's a good question. Thats a good one !thanks again 😎

Good question. I'm not entirely sure but everytime I had done this glitch I did speak to Trudy first. Also, some early levels glitches don't carry over but the most of the later levels ones do so I would suggest that you try to hit a higher level. Thanks for watching and commenting Joe.

I think I triggered this by accident in a different way. I don't know how.
That's sounds really cool. So what happened, was it at the start or was it sometime after starting a playthrough?
@@TrappedInFallout I did a new playthrough, and did the little trick of taking skilled, and then rebuilding the character and taking skilled again because of the glitch. and I worked my way around the mountains to get chances knife early. Anyway... around the time I got Camp Mccarran, I stop playing for a long time, and didn't continue my playthrough until like 3 months later.
