This is PART ONE of my strenuous journey to making my own film-accurate Woody doll.
The base of this Woody was a 1995 Thinkway Push-Button Woody. In this segment, you see me focusing on the head sculpt and paint job. The next videos will be coming your way, so stay tuned for the body, clothes, and pullstring voice box.

It’s weird that the first vision of woody ever made has a good shape for woodys head (apart from the eyebrows,eyes and mouth)

When I’m doing mine, I’m doing an open-mouthed one instead of a closed mouth one. And I’m gonna use the render from “Disney’s Toy Story (1995, 1996)” as a reference.

To be perfectly honest, when I look back at this video, I almost cringe at how inaccurate this face was 😂 I’m very proud of how hard I worked on it! But I’ve learned so much in the past few months, and if you’ve kept up with the Woody series, you know that it got better 😂
So, I’m aware that this one is a bit sub-par, and I went back and changed it! Check out the later videos to see!

Just a little recomendation. First of all this it really cool! 2nd of all your going for a screen acurrate woody but the size is wrong. So a suggestion is, is to take your experiance with this and make a bigger one with the collection body and fix parts of the huggable woody face and make a voice box. Good luck!!

Well maybe you can ask someone you know that is good at sewing or maybe you’re good at sewing and make yourself or ask them just saw you one I did the same thing with my woody and I did it based off of his original hat
