    Here’s another simple hack for you. If you buy fresh herbs and don’t need to use all of them. Just finally chop what’s left and mix into softened butter, place in an ice cube tray and freeze. It not only saves you wasting the herbs it saves a ton of time.

    The Nutella trick can be used for making sure you get all of the contents of many different food containers before you recycle them. That last teaspoon of soup, washed out with a small amount of water and added to the pot, will save the last bit in the can. Just add it to the rest of the can of soup. This applies to tuna in olive oil very well as the oil and tuna juices will make the beginnings of a very tasty salad dressing. Add some vinegar or lemon juice and some mayonnaise if you like. It is really too good to waste.

    Good stuff to know. One thing that's simpler for draining canned vegetables, etc though is to simply open the can most of the way, leaving about 1/2 inch untapped and then invert the can or just turn it halfway upside down. Thanks for the other tips though, especially handling fresh garlic. Bon appetité!

    • @djg5950
      @djg5950 ปีที่แล้ว +15

    Never thought about the strainer use for pasta, I like this one. For resealing the cups I always used a plastic fork in the edged, looks a bit funny in the fridge but I always knew which one is open. Parchment paper is great for everything including sheet cakes. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day

Also going to try the glass decoration hack with crushed strawberries (chia seed to thicken) on the glass and lime sparkling water. Thanks for all the great ideas! I do same thing with my garlic !I put it in the small container for one time use 🤷🏼‍♀️you don’t drink tea leaves like that ! You won’t get good colors and taste when is not steam cooked in tea pot 🤷🏼‍♀️tea bags are just tea dust so when you put water on it gives you right away color 😏

    • @WebspoonWorld
      @WebspoonWorld  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's great that you have found a way to store garlic that works for you. As for tea, you're right that using loose tea leaves and a tea pot can provide a different experience compared to tea bags. 😉
