@@bliss6495nah, more like Java man. I already tried Bandung public infrastructure, it's pretty great, the buss system is still new I think since it's still complicated but it's very great. Their train station is way more good than New York, sooo damn clean, no rats no homeless no offended people, perfect. Idk about another island tho, but I heard it's not quite good, so I guess it's centralized on Java.
@@Z.Zidan12 Yeah right now it's still mostly in Java...altho the Indonesian government is slowly but surely expanding into the other islands, Sulawesi has had a new train network, Sumatera roads, and Borneo is ofc where the new capital is going to be.

Actually using airport train to central city of Jakarta you don't have to stop in Duri because the train end at Manggarai station and you also can stop at BNI city station and walk to Jakarta city, Thamrin or Sudirman area.

Taking the airport train to BNI City station then transferring to the MRT, travelling from Dukuh Atas BNI to Setiabudi Astra station would be a more enjoyable experience. The pedestrian facilities are better around those stations. 😊

Wow, you were sweating buckets out there! 😮 I don’t know why you thought it was necessary to cover your tattoos, you really didn’t have to, it’s not as if you were going to a Japanese onsen 😁 Many Indonesians also have them as the art of tattooing is a part of many of our indigenous cultures.
Is it because Indonesia is a Muslim-majority country? Seriously, don’t sweat (haha) these things. Just wear your usual clothes, like the sleeveless shirts and shorts that you wore in the Philippines, no need to cover up unless you’re visiting a place of worship (mosques, churches, temples, etc).
It’s not like you’re unfamiliar with the country, you know how chill Indonesians are as you’ve been to local wet markets where flocks of women in hijab hugged you to get selfies that they’d show off to their entire village. You’re a handsome man with an easy going personality who didn’t get grumpy even after stressful events like the checkin situation. You know how easy it is for you to charm everyone’s pants off. 👍
I hope you get to visit other parts of Indonesia this time around. Sumatra, Borneo, Sulawesi, Papua, Flores, Timor, the Spice Islands… so many islands, so many different culinary traditions for you to explore. It must be great to go to your destination by just taking the train. Already amazed at the infrastructure. No need to be scammed by taxi or tricycle drivers.The pad/airbnb you settled in was not bad either( compared to the Philippines). Even the bike driver was nice too already apologetic for I don’t know why?.It seems everyone can communicate with English too which is a huge plus.

As an Indonesian, I am sure that what the driver really meant was "Pardon/Excuse me". He was just mistranslated it because the word "sorry'' (maaf) in Indonesia could also be used as "pardon me/excuse me"
So, basically he wasn't sorry for anything, he just want to be polite.
TBH Indonesia is still behind our neighbors when it comes to public transportation because everything is politicized, to the point where many dumbf**k people think that infrastructure building is not important 🤷♂️ But I assume you’re from the Philippines, so you know how it is. When I saw you doing all your best hunting Indomaret Point, I felt like I can relate to that. In my opinion, palm coffee from Indomaret Point and Kopi Kenangan tastes the best, whether it's hot or cold, but I personally prefer hot coffee, unless I just got roasted from walking lol
