Pro-abortion person here. Actually, depending on the method of abortion, the fetus IS essentially taken apart. That is, if the fetus is too big to be dealt with in easier ways. Yes, they do reassemble fetuses, but only for the sole purpose of making sure that all of the parts are there (nothing is left in the womb). Just thought I'd clarify :)

D&E/ dismemberment abortions are well recognized as the standard method of abortion for mid- to late-term cases. And the reassembly is necessary so they can make sure no parts are left behind, (1) that could get infected, (2) or cause additional abortions, cuts, or punctures, (3) that could turn septic or (4) cause additional infections.
47:22 Reminds me that I saw this movie when I was into super conservative Catholicism (think all things before Vatican II to give you an idea, even back then I knew the Soros mention was a dogwhistle) and one time I was having a conversation with then parish friends and when they were talking about how women regretted having abortions I brought up those who don't, they basically told me those women were demonically possessed (and it was the girls in the group who said this), so I guess most of the world's population is possessed and that's why they go to hell! And one of the many things that indirectly led to my deconversion (besides the rampant creationism and climate change denial in that community) was that one time one of those then friends, who by the way was educated in a very conservative Catholic college in California, told us that the reason why we had to be pro-life was that according to Augustine unbaptized babies go to hell, and that includes aborted ones so 2:05:32 wouldn't age too well, since the best part was that Abby converted to Catholicism, and not the good kind (I was told about this back then and knowing PureFlix they toned down the symbols she'd otherwise display to not scare away the Evangelicals, so this is more or less a Catholic movie)! And no wonder why I'm starting to think I was in a cult back then.

This movie was awful. I went with my family(for research purposes😂) and they are major pro lifers, no ifs, and, or buts, no exceptions. It was hard to keep my emotions in check. When the doctor said "beam me up scotty" I was done. That was so stupid, nobody would fucking say that. They were just trying to make the "bad" guys even worse. And the acting sucked so bad, I couldn't pay attention 😂 thank y'all for destroying this movie. I'm not pro abortion but I am pro choice. This movie helped me come to that final decision of becoming pro choice instead of pro life (like I was most of my life. I was catholic, but deconverted to agnostic atheism this past year!!!)Don't tell my parents!!!!!🙊😂
I saw this on Paulogia, and boy... this is definitely a movie. Funny story though, my church pastor once called abortion clinics "mini death camps" and that this was just like the "holocaust". It was very funny for me, but also kinda sad...
Even reading the Wikipedia plot of Unplanned makes you think "What?!". She works at Planned Parenthood, a organization that convinces women to have their unborn child instead of aborting. Guess what Abby does, who works for PP, practically every time she gets pregnant from either unprotect sex, rape, or premarital sex, and even marital sex? She decides to get an abortion! What a hypocrite, this movie shows that she is! She wanted the movie to promote anti-abortion, yet follows through with getting abortion, while working at an anti-abortion organization. Wikipedia says PP's goal is to reduce the amount of abortion! Yet, Abby performed abortions! She joined the organization to help women not choose abortion, but got abortions while working there and performed abortions on women!!! Even if true that she got raped, why are her and other christians only okay with abortion when it's a rape victim? They aren't pro-life with abortions necessary when unborn child could kill the mother, or if mother/father isn't financially, mentally, and emotionally stable to have a child. They are only okay with abortions and being hypocrites when they themselves, as christians, are victims of rape or unfit to have child or not ready to have child. And why are some christians so pro-life when it comes to anti-abortions but they never are helping/supporting adoption centers or helping potential parents become fit to care for children to reduce child going into orphanages?! Even Cheryl sounds like a hypocrite for being director of this PP who wants to convince women not to get an abortion, yet convinces Abby to get one and convinces Abby to take over her position by showing her abortion remains, a tactic to get her to be pro-life. Either the Wikipedia plot is untrue and confusing, or the actual movie is messed up.
This woman was a disgruntled employee, who got butt hurt over being disciplined and put on a performance improvement plan (which is basically the last step before termination), and then all of a sudden had a "moment", decided to make up a bald faced lie about being present during an abortion procedure (she wasn't according to clinic records), smear her former employer and become the Erin Brokovich of the pro life movement, because there was some serious cash in it for her, more than what she was earning at PP. The same thing happened where I work. I don't work at a clinic, but an employee who was laid off, turned the company in for an enviromental issue, that he was FINE with when he was employed with us. So, this is a Frau of a woman on a vengeance ride against PP... And telling other women what they can do with their own bodies.
