Many know Band-Maid will begin their US Tour 2022 with an appearance (50 minutes and between 10-12 songs in their set) at Aftershock here in Sacramento. They play that last night along with Nemophila and the Warning. Jinger also plays during the four day event which is the biggest concert festival in the US. The four day event will sell out with about 150,000 attending. I attended the Aftershock before last where l saw Babymetal along with Tool and Korn. This is the tenth year of Aftershock and l have been to four of them. It is a great venue about one mile away from where l live. This will be far and away the largest crowd Band-Maid will have played before and a real chance to put them on the map for the many who still don't know the band. Sacramento loves Band-Maid. See some of you at the show. The venue is Discovery Park down on the Sacramento River. Beautiful spot.

@@GaryHolloway-810 l drove 369 miles each way from Sacramento to LA to see them at the Echoplex. A stroll down to the river will be a whole lot simpler. Nemophila, Jinger and the Warning are all on the bill as well. Also looking forward to Zakk Sabbath. Ozzy's band without Ozzy doing Ozzy's Black Sabbath. See some of you at the show.
@@kitsunedao3895 That is certainly possible. Though l still believe that Aftershock will kick off their US Tour. To put their tour before Aftershock would be hugely problematic. Not all states would be ready for business as usual before that time. Waiting til after Aftershock means all venues will be open for business as usual with no masks, vaccination requirements or any other requirements to enter the venue. In Band-Maid's three excursions into the states they have always been here in the late fall. This time will be no different. Look for the upcoming tour schedule which will be released in a couple of weeks.

This song is an expression of KOBATO’s “twin vocal concept,” that I’m happy to hear. Saiki has grown to be an incomparable vocalist, but I wish they would create more songs where Saiki and Miku trade lead.
I totally agree. The swapping of lead vocals is something that is so great. Miku has always grown quite a bit as a vocalist as well. Allowing them to both fully unleash everything they have in one song at this point into their career would be incredible.
"Don't You Remember" would be a good name for a song.
Thank you for picking up this song. Miku singing voice goes well with Saiki singing voice. Their singing voice makes me so comfortable and happy. By the way, I look that you favorite Kanami's guitar solo, me too.

I always enjoy your reviews of Band-Maid songs. I just don't understand why you don't have more subscribers. Come on,Maidiacs,give this man some love!
You're right,there are many songs you can't find on YT. It's thanks to P in D and a couple of others,there are collages of many of those songs. I've bought all of their CD's and one DVD but still like watching people review each song for the first time. I just want to see them become even more popular. Hopefully,their concerts will sell out when they tour the USA later this year. Keep up the good work.

Ive been told a few times that maybe I talk to much in my intros, etc, haha. For me the videos are just a way of chatting with people and maybe in some cases share a rare song or band that I enjoy with other people.
I tried to make some videos where I kept the chatting down a bit and I pretty much just scrapped them because it just didnt feel right to me. With the reactions concept as well, I cant go back and re-react to the videos, so those recordings are forever lost. It is a bit unfortunate, but I just decided to stick to what im doing.
At the end of the day, subs and stuff dont matter to me, TH-cam is just a hobby and a way of connecting with people in the community. Chatting with people in the comments section, via email, zoom, even discord (I dont use discord much) is the real prize.
I am the same way as well, I still watch a lot of reaction videos (Mainly BAND-MAID videos), its fun to see people discover this awesome band for the first time. Kind of reminds me of when I first discovered them. Being able to share these older songs with the help from P in D is a very cool thing and I eventually want to have every video he has created on this channel.

Yeah for sure, the music is just not as readily available as the newer stuff. Ive been listening to BAND-MAID since the end of 2019 (not very long) but this older stuff I have never really seen online so never had a chance to hear it.

This is probably my favourite "dual-vocal" song by them. I just love the attitude that Miku sings with in this one. Always recommend it to people who talk about wanting to hear more of the shared vocals but no one's looked at it yet lol.
Man they sure are missing out by not checking this song out! I love the dual vocal songs. I would like to see more in the future just because Miku has come so far with her vocals. She will never have the power that Saiki does but she has a crazy vocal range and she just sounds so kawaii ^^
My favourite of this type is FREEZER. But all those early dual-vocals songs are great. The concept is really interesting, and the implementation was superb.
@@VladimirChupin FREEZER is really good, thats the first P in D photo collage ive watched. I was very surprised by the sound of that song. Kanami had a fantastic solo. I love the main riff and chorus in that song, very catchy.

absolutely love the harmonies between saiki and miku in this song - and of course miku's solitary vocals as well. and one of my favorite kanami solos. and one of the most amazing things to me is that as many excellent songs as there were on maid in japan it bombed in 2013 on it's release. and they almost quit the whole thing until in 2014 the mv for ' thrill' catapulted them into the big time. thank goodness
I never actually really considered that. Obviously I knew that Thrill was their kind of last chance and fortunately the video did very well. But going back and thinking about all these songs that came out before Thrill... I cant even comprehend that they couldnt make a name for themselves with the music... The entire album is just incredible.
@@Shreddawg i think it's my 2nd favorite cd after domination - and i have all of them. ' key ' is my favorite off of MIJ though. sounds punkish and just a killer main riff
The main riff in key is fantastic. I randomly walk around the house singing that song all the time haha.
I really enjoyed the Just Bring It album, ive listened to that more than any album. I think WORLD DOMINATION is the 2nd most listened to album for me. Unseen World is actually an incredible album as well, ive listened to that a fair bit in the last year.
Nice early song from them, with so many things, intended or not, that carry forward to future Band-Maid. Thanks also to P in D for the always tastefully selected and well-synced photo collages.

It really is one hell of a song thats for sure!
Largely thanks to reactors, I realized I was discounting some early Band-Maid merely because some of the choruses are kinda simplistic and obvious (rather like later songs' sections written expressly as audience sing-alongs). But almost everything else, especially on headphones, can stand with their more recent material.
I have been very surprised by a lot of these older songs. Someone actually pointed out that a lot of these songs were from the MAID IN JAPAN album. That means these songs actually did not go well in Japan at first. The next album with Thrill was the last chance/make it or break it moment. Thrill is a good catchy song but honestly, there are so many songs from the MIJ album that are SO much better.
Given the fact that the girls were so young when the MIJ came out, they were all very talented.
Headphones is for sure the way to listen to BAND-MAID. There are so many little intricacies that can be missed without headphones.
Wow! Didn't know Miku had a Tele with two humbuckers and a Music Manesque round pickguard.

Sometimes its tough finding anything else but that to say about BAND-MAID, haha.
Now there is content with just the right amount of bonnet! I suppose there could always be more but it can't *all* be Kanami all the time. Nice job with the subtitles and language notes. The only place I'd ever heard this song is from the album's MP3s (I bought the music but not the CD) so dozens of times, just never on TH-cam. Good job P in D for highlighting it. Thanks for sharing and entertaining as always.
Yeah this song was a complete banger for sure! They did not let up at all with this one. Kanami just absolutely shredded and our little Miku sounded soooo good singing!
I actually have never heard the song even though I have a copy of the MAID IN JAPAN album, haha. There are a few left on the album that I have not heard yet but I know one or 2 of them have photo collages by P in D. I know all his videos got taken down but my end goal is to have all of them on my channel even if I have heard the songs before. I of course have started with the more rare/older songs that I have not heard.
I figured a lot of people probably have not heard them either.
P in D is just awesome for creating these things and I am glad hes not stopping!
Thanks, I thought the little language note would be find of fun... ive been trying to study Japanese more because ive been slacking and Im thinking incorporating a bit of Japanese might be fun for everyone.
If you really like Miku, try Rock In Me. It's cute little song and one of my favorites.

Thank you for dropping by and the kind comment. I am very familiar with Rock In Me. It is such a happy fun song. A very bubbly song. That is the first song that I really felt like Miku is a total rock star. (Maybe It was the UK 2019 one?) It was one of the live performances and she just looked so natural being front and center with the microphone. She just worked the crowd so well and you could just feel the fun that she was having. It was at that moment that I knew there was a rock star inside of Miku just begging to come out.
This is one of the reasons I really enjoy cluppo. I feel like its really a way for her to express herself. YOu can really feel the fun she is having in the songs as well. ... Or thats what I think anyway :)

FYI: You can use the word "yabai". It's a Japanese slang that you use when you want to praise more than sugoi 😎
However, Saichan says "Sai & Kou" in such a case. Saikou means awesome. Sai＆Kou is also a Japanese slang 🤘
Thank you for the extra Japanese lesson! I have not heard "yabai" before. Yabai would be more fitting than sugoi for the guitar solo!

I get what you mean. Saiki has a much more powerful voice that is capable of a lot more than Miku.
Miku however has such a beautiful voice and provides a lot of amazing harmonies with Saiki.
@@Shreddawg and Miku has a WIDER range she can go higher than Sai-chan as well as lower in register but as you said NOT as powerful
