Yeah it was a great song to share with mom. I wouldnt be where I am today without her support so I do my best to keep her included in everything I do, including going to JROCK shows! This song is just a very mature sound, not that BAND-MAID havent already matured in their sound... Its almost like another evolution... idk, its difficult to eplain.

They have a ton of instant bangers, but what I’ve realized is their songs are always growers. A few of my favorites I wasn’t as high on until I heard it a few times and it just keeps getting better and better because there’s so much you can discover that you previously never noticed. When I first heard this song I thought it was good, kinda wished it wasn’t all English, but then just said to myself wait til I hear it a couple more times and sure enough it’s addicting just like the others and quite a tear jerker if you’re caught off guard.
Yeah thats a very good point. I always say its difficult to pick up on everything upon first listen. Its always difficult to make a statement about how I feel about a song upon first listen. 😅 Some songs you instantly fall in love with and others slowly grow on you. Yes Kanami is great. For some reason when she breaks into her solo and it is a silouette of her with the guitar head pointing skyward it reminds me of Godzilla roaring to the sky
This song was amazing to see live. I didn't see it debut live at the Incubus concert, but I did see it live shortly after at the Day of Maid Okyu-ji at Zepp Haneda. Love seeing Mom totally lost in the music. I was totally lost into the song too. Arm up, eyes closed, rocking back and forth, singing along.... So the next time you can go see them, do it! I think this song is really designed to reach a non-heavy rock audience and draw them to experience the greatness known as Band-Maid. On to the next reaction with Mom! PO!🕊 🤘😆🤘

I also looked for, at first listen, the complex and unique style of Band-Maid, which we all know, and I was surprised that they could take this alt-rock riff, unusual for them, and make it a song that still sounds like Band-Maid to our ears. They have this rare ability to adapt to all genres of rock without disrupting their own sound. The collaboration song with The Warning is another aspect of this successful adaptation quality. Yeah moms are awesome! Shes loved the shows she attended and cant wait for more! She even enjoyed NEMOPHILA twice! My mom also originally picked the red glasses as well! I picked the MISA glasses because purple is my favorite color and because I have never been so impressed with a bassist like MISA. She is in a league of her own for sure.

They did a collaboration with The Warning a couple of weeks ago, but they haven't officially released a video of it yet, but somebody posted some fan-cam footage of it, and a bunch of reactors earned channel strikes because of it. The Maids do already have another song for an anime "Protect You" and there is a TV version of a video for it that you can find, but there isn't an official video for it yet. The last I heard they are currently planning an August release for their next album, which hopefully means we will get some new videos to promote the album, and hopefully they will do some kind of world tour to promote the album even though that is all speculation (or wishful thinking) on my part. NEK! released a teaser for a new video coming soon. Saki put out a video "The Empress" about 8 days ago that is really good. PaleNeo and Lonesome blue have been releasing new videos lately too. Hagane put out an audio-only track recently and will be releasing either an album or an EP soon, if they haven't already. Please take care and have an awesome week. Yeah I think I saw the outro for the anime with the song was posted but I havent watched it. Hopefully that album does drop in August!
