I tested my corded version at 225-250 lasted almost 18 hours. The temperature swings are pretty extreme though 250 would go over 300+, so I turned it down to 225 and ranged 200-300 degrees. The average was around 250-270 degrees for the entire cook time.

Just bought one a couple days ago to replace my little Char-Griller mini barrel grill (side smoker) that I used for steaks, pork chops, burgers and dogs, and camping. Can't wait to get it and start using it.

As a previous Qstoves+ user, I've recently made the switch to Asmoke and I couldn't be happier. With Asmoke, the temperature control is far superior, providing much more consistency while grilling. The flavors I'm getting from the wood pellets are also incredibly distinct and have really elevated my cooking. It's also a bonus that the grill is portable and battery-powered, making it perfect for camping and tailgating. The Asmoke grill is also much more efficient and easier to clean, which for me, is a huge plus. I love that I can monitor the temperature and adjust it remotely through the app, it's been a game-changer for my outdoor cooking experiences. Highly recommend making the switch to Asmoke! #Asmoke
I love my pitboss, and i love the idea of this smoker. But, $500 for this is just too much. My pittboss lockhart was just $700, and grant it i'm not moving that behemoth around. I can't t justfy the cost of this thing for camping and lake outings. Great video. Thanks for posting.
I agree, and the cook space is just too small for me. I'll stick to my blackstone for camping.
If you have access to ac power like I do with my toy hauler or small generator the ASMOKE is a great option. It was the first of the table top pellet smokers and mine lives in my toy hauler for half the price. At home my Pit Boss vertical gets all the action. At rally it easily fit two large tri-tips for smoking

Besides being small a $500 price tag makes it pretty expensive. The Wally special to me would be a better deal. Is having the battery really worth the extra @00 bucks. I'm glad your screws came loose. I bought the last table top in town at four Walmarts. The screws for the legs I stripped one completely two were loose. One leg had all three screws cemented in, another had only one screw removeable, another had none of the screws loose and the last one had one screw loose. I will say of all the Pit Bosses I've bought it was the most well packed. I've had 6-7 different Pit Bosses over the last four years or so. For the $ I feel they are a good buy.

This is just really cool PitBoss has made something portable and the battery life of this thing is impressive. I see a lot of comments mentioning the price. Well I’d say your not only paying for the convenience but that battery has to be where a big portion of the cost is spent. Cause to run for 15 hours is quite impressive. But maybe those types of batteries are much cheaper now than a few years ago. Great video!
They make a $200ish non-battery type but you need to find a power source. You can buy a generator but $500 isn’t really that bad for what it offers for true portability and convince.

This thing is awesome I’m not sure about the $500 price tag lol.
I use my regular Table Top Pit Boss grill with a Ryobi 40v battery and their inverter. I don’t know how long it lasts but I haven’t had to swap out the battery when we cook yet. I haven’t tried pork butt with the battery though, just burgers at the beach so far. I doubt that the battery they’re selling with this new grill can last as long as stated or as long as my Ryobi 40v 6ah batteries can. Theirs is 148 watt hours, mine are 240 watt hours and I have 2 of them. I think it’s cheaper to go the route I took and it’s easy to get additional batteries if you’re going to go camping with it or something.
I have a navigator without batterypack. Is it possible to buy an upgrade pack?
I would love one of these to tailgate at football games, my question is can you recharge the battery using you vehicle?
If you have something that can power a 110v, yes. But, with a 15 hour battery run time…how long is that football game!? 😂
I'm interested in this but I can't find where to buy just the battery... I like having a backup battery for the just in case scenarios... Can anyone point me to where I can buy just the battery please...

The price is pretty much for the battery. They sell that smoker with just a normal plug in for like $200.
Does it come with a lid gasket, does it have a 275 temp setting?
Yes, no
Did yours come with the probe? Website says it's supposed to but mine did not.
I don’t recall getting a probe cable. That being said I usually use other probes anyway.
Can't find this on either Pit Boss site or Lowes. They only show the one without battery. Do you have a link?

Apparently a lot of people had problems with this grill with fires in the hopper. Has this been resolved?
Why don’t you just fill the burn pot about 1/2 full with pellets so you don’t play a guessing game? Every pellet grill I have owned have all said the same thing about pre-filling the burn pot.
Do they make the same version with external sear lever ?
Yes. They sell it at Lowes.
Why would you clamp that lid when doing that initial burn with the pellets or even a cook?
