I feel you. I can't wait to order one. Tech companies need to develop more tablets that are compatible with laptops. Apple is ahead of the curve coming out with keyboards and shit, and plus you can connect flash drives to tablets. Oh shit. When the first iPad came out you couldn't do that. Apple has come a long way.

I got the iPad Air in purple on Friday with same day delivery with Amazon prime!!! It’s great!!! I’ve been watching TH-cam videos and listening to pandora and surfing the web and I took some pictures while I was outside for my walk. It works great except sometimes it has trouble connecting to Wi-Fi on TH-cam. I love it!!! I got it with birthday money plus my money I turn 60 on July 11th!!! I love your video!! It looks great on my new iPad Air!!!
This is my new favourite ipad, the size,the camera,and other features are just perfect for me, when my old tablet doesn't work, I will buy this one
My only issue is the base model iPad Air is only 64GB hard drive space. Seems WAY too small these days. And then the next step up is all the way up to 256GB, which costs only $50 less than if you were to buy the 128GB 11” iPad Pro.
I feel like it’s way more worth it to spend that $50 to get the iPad Pro than to spend the money on the 256GB iPad Air, and for me, the 64GB iPad Air isn’t even an option, functionally.

But you can buy 50GB ICloud Storage for 1€/$ per month. So 60 bucks in 5 years. But i‘m planning to buy one of those IPads for university, and I don’t know if 64GB are enough either. So help me please lol

I have owned and used two iPads in my life time. 2018 6th gen. iPad with Apple Pencil 1st gen. is my first iPad I've used. Then Dec. of 2021 I upgraded to the iPad mini 6th gen. with Apple Pencil gen. 2. I can do both the same quality of art (drawing) on that 6th gen. iPad with Apple Pencil 1st gen. as I can on the 6th gen. iPad mini. But the Apple Pencil 2nd gen. is so nice to be able to magnetically charge it. I am a hobby artist and still life photographer (mainly foliage and flowers). I first started doing digital art in 2018 when I got the 6th gen. iPad.

I got the new ipad air 5th generation in purple on Friday for a birthday present to myself with my birthday money and my money and I love it!!! Amazon did same day delivery with prime!!! I've been watching videos on youtube and listening to pandora on it and surfing the web reading emails stuff like that. It works great except sometimes it doesnt connect to the internet on youtube at first. I love it though and its pretty in purple!!!
Most people are going to just gravitate to the iPad, iPhone or iMac that best matches their aesthetic or favorite color rather than the hardware on the inside of the machine.
I love that Apple is starting to realize this and are making the consumer grade products more colorful while keeping the “pro” stuff in the space gray or silver colors.
Now if only we could get a violet purple iPhone…

I believe Apple put in the M1 chip to make it more future proof. I find this step a bit excessive. But still, the iPad AIr 5 is a very good choice for most people. and who can do without 120hz promotion. will be really happy with the ipad air 5.

I bought an iPad Air yesterday - my first iPad. I set it up based on my 512Gb iPhone 12 Pro Max. I deleted some apps from the iPad that I know I will never use (I won’t be hailing an Uber from my iPad for instance). When the iPad was all setup I was using 71Gb of storage. Good thing I bought the 256Gb version or I would have been screwed. Unfortunately, Spectrum Mobile, my cell carrier who I bought it from, only offers the 256Gb version in Space Grey. So no pretty blue for me. I really wanted to match my blue iPhone and Apple Watch. But I bought the new Marine Blue Smart Folio, so no one will be the wiser. So far, I am loving being an iPad Air owner.

@Santosh Parvatikar transferring artwork to iPad to use pencil like a Wacom tablet for drawing etc, then transferring back to Mac for illustrator/photoshop etc. It varies for everybody but for me I’ll get an unbelievable amount of use from this.
@Santosh Parvatikar Because using dropbox is about 10x more inconvenient. Why don’t we still all use dial up internet and 3g phone service, or just email all my work to myself and open on my laptop. Things are constantly improved on. I’ve used universal control for the past couple days and it’s extremely convenient and makes work flow very fast and seamless. What other reasons would you need? You don’t even need to set anything up it just works. These days everything is so advanced that the little features make the biggest difference.
@Santosh Parvatikar I never said it was a necessity lol. All of the things I listed in my previous comment are conveniences too. But tech is always moving forward and without improvements to convenience we wouldn’t have what we have today. I fail to see your argument.

If you have an iPhone 13 Pro, you don't necessarily need the iPad Pro, the Air will do perfectly fine for personal use. If you have the means to get the Pro, go for it, but notice the price get pretty close to a MacBook Air... Just something to think about.

I have the 4th gen works great but I sometimes just use my old iPad 5 . My 4th gen works great as a laptop with my keyboard and mouse. Even though I got a amazing galaxy case for it which is for the 5th gen lol
