Its about time you do this upgrade Rob. Consider yourself lucky with with the Dana 60 you got....the 05 that I got has a lot more crap to cut off then what you had. I am happy for you. This should give you some more piece of mind out on the trails.
@@ronhampton I think they were 2" lift squarebody Chevy springs with one leaf removed. Allow me to emphasize WERE. I built a proper 3 link now with more ADS nitro shocks. The leaf springs worked ok, but they were certainly temporary
Plasma cutters really do change the way metal work happens in a small shop for sure. I use mine way more than I even expected when I got it.
It's almost like cheating

Yeah.... We are using an 05+ on the KK build. It will be nice to actually be able to send it.
Can't wait to see it in action!
Come to the Great American Crawl then. 😁
Gonna be a epic upgrade Rob!!! Watch you cross pin hole😳
It's way overdue
The cross pin isn't as close to the edge as the video makes it look.
What did you do for steering to clear the leaf springs? Thanks
@@garrettprater4204 I used stock Superduty stuff initially, but quickly destroyed that. I then built a better tie rod in the factory location.
What springs are you using on the front axle?
