One Ton Swap the Jeep YJ - Prepping the Superduty Dana 60 and installing a Torq Locker & U Bolt Flip

- It is finally time to replace the Dana 44 and Ford 9" axles that I have been running under DaddyJeep. I have broken enough axle shafts and I am getting quite tired of it. The axles that I will be using are a Dana 60 and Sterling 10.5 out of an 03 F350 Diesel. In this video I will be prepping the Dana 60 by cutting off the unnecessary stuff, modifying the casting, and Installing the locker. Finding a good deal on gears happened after I finished up the axle so I will be covering the gear install in another video.
I haven't seen much on a U bolt flip for these so I did my own thing and am happy with the result.

Its about time you do this upgrade Rob. Consider yourself lucky with with the Dana 60 you got....the 05 that I got has a lot more crap to cut off then what you had. I am happy for you. This should give you some more piece of mind out on the trails.
