I prefer having short videos, but I don't want to be selfish I know what hard working and responsibility feels like ..Do anything that works for you And your family and makes you move forward... awesome work man 💥
I prefer the multiple part videos, learn more from them. Since I’m new to fabrication I especially like the in depth videos. Love your work and attention to detail.
If you ask me, I never get enough of watching your videos, but that said, please do anything that works for you and your family, because even shorter videos are sure gonna be as intertaining and educational as they've always been. Great stuff you're doing!
Shorter vids is the way to go my friend. It also helps more with growing the channel and views. Lets keep ‘em frequent, mostly cus you’re such a big inspiration. Idk how imma go thru the week without your inspirational vids 😭
I would prefer longer videos that allow me to sit down and enjoy it for longer, even 30-40 minutes. Keep content coming! Maybe you could do shorts+longer videos?
I enjoy what you’ve been doing bro! Shorter 10-20 minute videos a couple times a week maybe throw in a longer video once in a while but like everyone else has said do what works for you, we are here because we like the kinda work you do, just do what works for you bro!
Thanks for asking us Austin, but we’re just happy to be able to watch what you do! The material you put out is entertaining and educational and we’re happy that you do it!!! Thank you!
I too like the shorter videos, but whatever is more convenient for you. I had to work around my kids many years ago, so I know how demanding that can be. Keep up the good content that you have been doing.
I rather like what ever fits your schedule without any pressure. Just remember your channel is entertaining and educational! You’re doing the work and you don’t have a deadline.. just do what feels right to you!
You do whatever works best for you and your family! I can safely say that whatever pace you set will be good with your fans. You will never get back time with your kids, so that is your priority. Us seeing you work on projects will always be available.
Any time waiting for your videos to drop is worth it. You do what you need to do family wise. And your LOYAL subscribers will wait I'm sure. Cheers from Sydney Australia.
A father myself, I have trouble working on a project, editing a video, and uploading consistently to my own channel so, do what works best for you. I love your content and will keep watching either way!! Great build. My son and I are going to start an axle swap on his Jeep TJ soon. Great inspiration in your content! Thank you.
When it comes to your work/videos, I dont mind if its a short video or a long video. I´ll still watch the hole thing. Do what works best for you and your family.
I stick welded the axle tubes to the center section of a couple ford 8.8s with 7018. Preheat to 400, wrap in fiberglass insulation to slow cooling. Haven't seen any issues with the welds, one axle was done 7 years ago, the other 2 years ago.
Definitely prefer the longer videos mate, however if it is better for TH-cam smaller videos could help your channel. You’re definitely one of the best channels for this sort of stuff on TH-cam so I am pretty surprised you’re not getting the views that you deserve. You could do shorter videos in parts and then upload a full version of the parts afterwards as well
nice vid like always! I just put a truss kit on my jeep this weekend. I mig weld for the diff part .. I pre-heated at 400- 500 f and for de cooled down I put it in a fire whole blanket ! not issued. Great work by the way!
Id do whats best for your schedule also. It has been nice when you do educate us with info on what primer, paint, powder coat, tools you recommend, sand blast media, anything really. I do like the longer videos when you take things apart just like this axle, just to watch the process and learn. You do killer work man ill watch your videos regardless and thanks for the learning curve. Ill always support this channel
Looks like the consensus so far favors the short and more frequent videos. I'm with that 100%. It's your channel and ultimately your decision though. You should do what makes the most sense for you and your family.
I prefer 15-20 min videos I would prefer to not have to wait 10 to 14 days for a video but honestly I just enjoy your content and will watch what ever you do so do what works best for your family
I love your content so of course more frequent is better in my opinion. Maybe you can break each project down into a series and organize the content a little more which would also help you with what to create and when to create it. So instead of cutting the plates for a frame and welding all in the same video, plan the project out on paper, and schedule it. One video is the cardboard templates, the next is designing and cutting in CAD, and then the last video could be the actually welding and installing of the plates. This would also give you more content to upload for the same amount of hours worked.
It would be cool to get a weekly episode. But time with the kids is so important I'd say just do what you can. Your content is effing excellent so we fans aren't going anywhere!
Heyo! Tip for the next axle. Tig brazing! I've preferred it a lot over welding the center sections. Another note: Forgings can be welded. they take a billet of regular steel and beat it into shape. Even cast steel welds quite well. Cast iron cracks because it pulls the carbon into the weld, then the heat affected zone has a crystalline structure that just makes it brittle. thats why the nickel rod works, it doesn't allow the carbon to be pulled into the pool. You can easily tell forgings from castings by the parting line. hard to explain, but casting typically have a very narrow parting line as the sand molds fit pretty well. on forgings, it tends to be very wide and have marks from shearing the waste material off. note that all the striations in the parting line are straight and parallel to each other, this helps distinguish from a ground casting. the shearing operation is usually the last operation of forging. they tend to be around 3/16 to 3/8 inch wide on forgings and usually around a 1/16 on castings. This is really handy to know because you can't forge cast iron. It just crumbles. So if its forged, weld on! Quick edit: ok, look at the inner C's on the axle. those are forged. your knuckles are cast. generally speaking, knuckles tend to be cast steel so that if you hit something on accident while driving they may bend a bit before breaking. Iron is very brittle, as a result most manufacturers tend to used steel in knuckles.
I’m fine with whatever content you want to put out. Most of the channels I follow release videos every Sunday. Sometimes they’ll throw in another video on like a Wednesday or Thursday, but typically it’s just 1 release a week on Sundays. So I’m cool with that. I wouldn’t want to wait 2 weeks personally for a 40 minute video. I’d rather have a 20 minute video every week.
With the detailed description following the build process, I'll prefer the shorter videos. I honestly think I will skip more minutes in a longer video and on the other hand watch the entire thing if it's shorter. That being said, do what suits you and your family best - you are the keystone in this channel holding it all up 🙂 Take care.
I mig welded my superduty 60 with weed burner method. No problems here. The Sterling rear I used welded very differently looked like crap but didn’t crack.
I would say do a weekly video but do small updates with tips or tricks as the TH-cam reels. I think that would help you most with the current algorithm. Plus if a project takes you three weeks, you could put out a complication video as well so those that was the larger videos could have them.
I prefer the longer videos. Usually watch at the end of the day to relax or during break and then back to work. On a side note, I really would like to know the final weight of this rig when you're done.
I understand shorter videos are easier to edit etc and for some viewers that check videos between breaks, shorter is convenient. A longer video less frequently also has its benefits as you get to see the whole job In one go. Both are good for me. Whats fits your lifestyle may be Best.
I like the short videos also but do what works for you I’ll watch regardless! Love the fj build I have one with LS but on leaf’s. Can’t wait to watch the body work looks like you have all the rust areas I have. Are you going to make your own sheet metal or purchase? I don’t have the tools you have . Anxiously waiting!
I would prefer a longer video 30-45min…talking over your work flows really good. You also tend to be more specific. I bet you got your next project in the yard.
15 Ford Fusion SE 2.5 L How can you tell if strut is bad ? I took severe hit on drivers side wheel and CV axle , lower control arm and the inner tie rod was damaged need replacing . The strut looks fine but some say the strut is likely shot and needs replacing . Took it to this shop yesterday and hopefully start working on it Monday . Some shops sell you on things you don't need
I prefer having short videos, but I don't want to be selfish I know what hard working and responsibility feels like ..Do anything that works for you And your family and makes you move forward... awesome work man 💥
Nah to the short videos, you can always finish a longer video later
@@bsfunk44 I prefer long videos but if I have to choose I'm gonna choose the more frequent short videos cuz I love watching his videos
2 part videos are good enough, and a whole video of the build from start to finish

Short but more often. But honestly whatever is easier for you. Love the videos!
I rather like what ever fits your schedule without any pressure. Just remember your channel is entertaining and educational! You’re doing the work and you don’t have a deadline.. just do what feels right to you!
More frequent videos, even if they’re only 5 minutes. Love the build.
Naahhhhh
That axle is beefy!! I wish my wife would go back to work!! I like the shorter video format. I like the detail of each facet of this project.
The shorter videos are awesome
But I will watch what ever you post

Shorter videos are cool, whatever works with your schedule Austin! Keep that lovely family first!
You do whatever works best for you and your family! I can safely say that whatever pace you set will be good with your fans. You will never get back time with your kids, so that is your priority. Us seeing you work on projects will always be available.

A father myself, I have trouble working on a project, editing a video, and uploading consistently to my own channel so, do what works best for you. I love your content and will keep watching either way!! Great build. My son and I are going to start an axle swap on his Jeep TJ soon. Great inspiration in your content! Thank you.
20 minute videos help me get my fix.... Keep up the good work.... Cheers from Vermont!!!
When it comes to your work/videos, I dont mind if its a short video or a long video. I´ll still watch the hole thing. Do what works best for you and your family.
Shorter videos is great, but as most have said, do what fits your schedule best. I’ll definitely be watching either way.
A weekly 15-20 min video is great!
I stick welded the axle tubes to the center section of a couple ford 8.8s with 7018. Preheat to 400, wrap in fiberglass insulation to slow cooling. Haven't seen any issues with the welds, one axle was done 7 years ago, the other 2 years ago.
I prefer short video more excited to watch. But everything up to u. Very very nice welding bro 💥
Austin what ever works best for you works for me. Your content is always interesting and enjoyable.
Do whatever is easiest and best for you and your family man, We will watch either way. Love the vids.
I would rather wait for a big update every once in a while, whatever goes better for you Austin, keep it up with the impresive work.
I enjoy these multi part videos.
Keep up the solid work man, it’s gonna blow up!
Definitely prefer the longer videos mate, however if it is better for TH-cam smaller videos could help your channel. Hi from Argentina.

I rather see videos every 3 or 4 days. No longer than 20 minutes.
But whatever works for you is ok.

i think the short 15-20 min videos is good. just not too short
More frequent shorter videos. Love the work. Good quality content

I like the 20 minute or so videos. Looking Super stout.
Longer videos with loads of progress ❤
I mig welded my superduty 60 with weed burner method. No problems here. The Sterling rear I used welded very differently looked like crap but didn’t crack.
Whatever works for you brother. We will continue to watch your videos no matter what!
Once again starting off with the voice over❤
Great job, those axles are insanely beefy 😮
Looking good. I like the idea of shorter 15-20 minute videos more often
Two part would be better, love the updates!
I like the shorter video's. Keep up the good work.
I can't wait to see this whole project come together! this is going to be one gorgeous BEAST!!
Short & frequent videos are good.
Either or, whatever works best for you. I’ll enjoy it either way.
Short or long just keep them coming 👍
Nice work ❤️ 👍🏼
I welded my dana 70 HD rear with Flux core wire, pre heat yes, no post heat or slow cool as in fire blanket. To date no cracks or failures.

keep them short and sweet and more often
You can get nickel mig wire. Crown alloys 44-30, for example.
Nice modifie
If you want to make it the ultimate danna 60 go ahead and throw in a set of Dana super 60 gears they will fit in the axle with a little grinding
Short or long videos i will watch either way.
