You might think that with a name like DaddyJeep Garage that we would be building Jeeps here. Well, that is certainly part of it. We will cover a variety of things here from working on the Jeeps, playing with the Jeeps, working on my tow rig or even other vehicles. I will also cover my "Crawler Hauler" build as I get back into that. I am by no means a professional fabricator and certainly not some high dollar builder. I am just a normal guy that has acquired some skills through the years. I have never been afraid to take on a challenge and enjoy building as much as I possibly can for my toys. I then enjoy taking those toys out and using them. There are no mall crawlers or show vehicles here. As an Amazon associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
Wheeling at SOR August Event - Rock Crawling Southington Off Road with a couple of YJs and a Toyota
I finally get back to SOR to do some rock crawling. This trip was with our friend Halie from Mud for Makeup on Intstagram. Be sure to give her some love. Post trip I found out that I broke one of my new Milemarker hubs, not a stub shaft. Their warranty was great and I had a new one in a few days. Spending most of my day in 3 wheel drive was no fun, but I got my revenge at the September event so look for that video soon.

What springs are you using on the front axle?
@@ronhampton I think they were 2" lift squarebody Chevy springs with one leaf removed. Allow me to emphasize WERE. I built a proper 3 link now with more ADS nitro shocks. The leaf springs worked ok, but they were certainly temporary

Ive heard alot of bad about mile marker but they have been in my 44 for a few years with no troubles... in fact I bought a spare set just in case and they still new in the box..
@@FlawedOffroad time will tell. I like that they are very low profile so they are less likely to take a hit
I hope those new hubs do the trick for you. I went with drive slugs for my dana 60 as my jeep only goes from trailer to trail and back to trailer. I just didn't want to deal with any selectable hubs lock issues. That does look like a nice wheelin' spot you found.

Definitely not my bag. I avoid mud like the plague. Kinda reminds me of guiding Bantam what was 23'? that it was just a muddy hell hole. It took me two days to clean my jeep after that weekend. What a nightmare. "For a good cause" though so I guess some sacrifices can be made. Pray your axle bearing seals are in good shape LOL.

The roll over was Saturday afternoon. We had the trail closed for about 30 minutes

How did you move the e-brake ?
I haven't had an e brake in years. I do have a couple of hand brake levers that I could adapt if I ever feel the need. I suppose you could weld an offset pad to the stock e brake lever if you wanted

Question: my key fob went missing - assuming I dropped it and someone picked it up. Once I use this kit to reprpgram the new fob will the old fob still work? I dont want someone else having access to my truck.
Yes. This doesn't change the programming in the Jeep. It programs the fob to match the Jeep.
@@DaddyJeepGarage okay. I lost my fob, do you know of any way to unpair it? What if I paired 4 new fobs to take up the 4 slots? Idk I have to remove my battery cable every night so whoever has it can't unlock my truck bc I have lots of work tools in it.
@@bryanr1159 possibly change out the receiver in the door with one from the junk yard
@@bryanr1159I think you have to use a higher end scan tool and use the lost all keys function. But you’ll have to reprogram all your skim keys and remotes. Also have to have a PIN number to access those functions.
You make me want to pull my YJ to the front of my shop and Get back to my 1 ton build. We are too close to Bantam to start that project back up. I will however upload the footage I do have. Hope to see you at Bantam be safe.
I just pulled the front axle out of my YJ. It's getting a bunch of work done in the next couple weeks to get ready for Bantam. Truss, high steer, all custom steering stuff, new hydro assist, and new 3 link suspension.
