It's too sunny for camera to pick-up indicators unless Strider himself saw the indication that's why he turn out. Out of the some three dozen harleys that rode past, not a one even made a 'you good?" sign. Most laughed at me or swore at me. Was a kid (I say kid, 18-19 probably) on a 125cc scooter who stopped to check what was up. Sadly these days, I don't judge a rider by their bike, wether a 50cc twist'n'go or a 1500cc sport. Unless it's a Harley. I don't even give them a nod anymore in passing.

If you go towards the back tire, you wind up going behind them. Remember also, counter-leaning is best to do when you have to be ready to make sudden changes in direction.
Agreed. A car pulling out like that won't reverse, safer to go around the back of the vehicle rather than in front. The driver may not see u right away and continue driving.

I had a similar accident where hard braking on my part saved me from having that car slam into my leg at speed, I ended up ramming his front and ending up a good 10m down the road wondering what happened. Sad to see people justify letting another person struggle, without even a kind word or at least some encouragement. I think you may be right, they have no sense of commitment to anyone they don't know, or if there isn't something in it for them.
