Pedersoli Sharps Competition rifle in .45-70 caliber: firing test

- We had the privilege to test the replica of the Sharps Model 1874 produced by Davide Perdersoli. A beautiful, historical rifle that accompanied the epic of the American frontier, it’s a real pleasure to shoot. Read more here:
The Sharps 1874 rifle became the professional buffalo hunters’ gun par excellence, thanks to its accuracy and large caliber, which allowed them to shoot down the animals from a safe distance, limiting the risk of being charged and dispersing herds more slowly.
The tested version is the Competition Model in .45-70, equipped with 4x Malcom scope, a replica of the scope produced by William Malcom in 1855 in Syracuse. Although I’d have liked a peep sight, the scope greatly facilitates aiming and shooting, even if I noticed a loss of accuracy after a few shots and the consequent need to re-zero it.
The rifle is elegant, beautiful, finely crafted: just manipulating it and looking at it is already satisfying, and firing it was an experience that was really worth doing.
Enjoy the video!

one of the best videos on youtube to depict the 1874 sharps rifle.
Mesmerizing video very enjoyable
Beautiful video. Handsome Sharps.
Beautiful, very stylish, indeed. But it was a pity to shoot this wonderful pear.
Nice video of the 1874 Sharps Rifle and Malcom scope, except for one thing. What looks like a 300 gr. jacketed Hollow Point round. A 500 or 550 gr. cast bullet would be a better round for a long range rifle.
I want to buy a similar rifle. Nice video, well done 👍🏻
First class video , I also have a similar rifle and scope 👍. THANKS 😊
nádhera, zajtra ju budem mať aj já :)
WANT!
Malcom?
Well I guess if you can not get your hands on a Shiloh Sharps, this one will do.
Sheesh…all of THAT for a relatively short distance shot at a pear. I’m a little disappointed.
3:07 lmfao wtf is up with his eyes
EN187 I started dying when I saw that 😂😂😂
He has a glass eye
@@plop55 No need to give an explanation. People have no respect these days.
woman singing, the music ... not appropriate... God's Love , Great Outdoors
Sorry, should have expanded re MHO.
Great video, great rifle... but a torched singing that could be evocative of, say 'the highest angst and torment of human existence, self sacrificing heroism', befitting e.g. the final dying scene in Gladiator ... Hmmm, a bit much perhaps?
... e.g. the Constable of France's dry remark, in Shakespeare's Henry V, following the Dauphin of France's over-the-top poetry the night before the battle:
Dauphin:
"What a long night is this! I will not change my
horse with any that treads but on four pasterns.
Ca, ha! he bounds from the earth, as if his
entrails were hairs; ... When I bestride him, I
soar, I am a hawk: he trots the air; the earth
sings when he touches it; the basest horn of his
hoof is more musical than the pipe of Hermes.
...
he is pure air and fire; and the dull
elements of earth and water never appear in him, but
only in patient stillness while his rider mounts
him: he is indeed a horse; and all other jades you
may call beasts."
Constable
" Indeed, my lord, it is a most absolute and excellent, horse."
After all, at the end of the day, it is a pear...?
Hey solution, offered gratuitously from the cheap seats: if All4Shooters wanted to improve on this already excellent video, the exploding pear sequence could be cut. Woww!!! and leave us spellbound in Imagination!
Was not prepared for the music.
"Ach du lieber, mein schatz"!!! Gorgeous rifle. BUT way too much "hype & nonsense" for most of video! Didn't even finish watching it all! Thumbs DOWN - sorry! "Gesundheit"!
