It looks like melee gundams have a one hit kill mechanic. I hope they implement something to capture cool melee battles between two closed ranged gundams

Might make a good balance since they'll have to stay on the move to survive when everyone else can hit them from afar.
I need the Gouf from 08TH MS Team to become a playable character. Would be a perfect mini gun class with some mobility.

@@theportlypapa3119 The OG Gouf showing off the initial taser tentacles was super cool, but the Gouf Custom from 08TH MS Team using that massive mini gun shield/sword combo wiping out an entire squad of guntanks on its own still holds a place in my heart as my favorite GUNDAM battle in the entire franchise.

I'm glad the Zaku II is a playable unit. I'm more of a grunt suit (especially Zakus) kind of guy. And the GM even looks interesting too, seems to be a Tank class.
Personally, I'm waiting for the GM Sniper II[WD] to be added.
Feels a lot more...practical, especially in this game(being able to deploy with a beam rifle instead of the beam sniper rifle is a plus).
Zaku looks like an all-rounder with nothing special yet easy to adapt.
Gms vs zakus is best
for me it is the GM I really like the more simple Design

The first person is a little different but I’m actually so excited to play an actual skill based Gundam multiplayer shooter
Its more immersive in first person, like it wouldn't make a lot of sense if it was third person, like imagine being a hypothetical mobile suit pilot and your heads up display and fov is in third person, that's gotta be disorienting and inconvenient, this is how gundam games are intended to be played the whole time and im glad they finally did it
You should give Extreme vs Maxiboost On that one requieres skill to properly play a suit

@@traphimawari7760 There are a few Gundam games where you are always in a third person veiw. In fact I'm pretty sure the majority of Mobile Suit Gundam games are third person perspective only. It's just been how it is for the longest time, plus the Dynasty Warriors style Gundam game really made a huge name for itself, so having an actual first person perspective Gundam game is a huge thing even if it seems pretty small detail wise. Not trying to be abrasive or rude btw, just letting you know how awesome this really is.
A space map with a small colony and asteroid field would be SICK!
They need to have a boss mode where one player gets to pilot a massive Mobile Armor, such as Big Zam or Psycho Gundam and all the other player take on the big guy. Would be so sick.

Visual clarity is very bad because they use the same drab colors on the suits as they do on the environments, can't see shit.
I thought it was kinda weird that the Gundam's seemed to be 'human-sized' now, but I looked at the map in comparison and noticed those little road pathways. Holy shit those maps would be absolutely _gigantic_ for ordinary people lol.
It's definitely something about the fast and snappy movement that makes them feel small, I'd say.
Not that it's something the devs can do much about, of course. I wouldn't even know where to start in thinking up a high-mobility FPS that moves slowly and sluggishly but still feels good to play.
But yeah, it is pretty trippy to look down and realize that what looks to be small decorations on the floor tiles are actually crates, barriers and such that're standing taller than a person.
I believe the maps themselves give off that illusion that the Mobile Suits are smaller. You aren't fighting in cities or urban areas where you tower over everything around you, but literal MS sized rooms and pathways
This looks so good! Definitely gonna get this if it ever comes to the West.
...and to add to the wishlist: I'm gonna be that weirdo who wonders if the Full Armor Gundam from Thunderbolt could ever show up. Beefy, yes, but could be fun.
Considering that I can view its Steam Store page, I think it's heading to the west

Blast some freeform jazz while blasting foos with the beast. Sounds like a good time.
I will say, even though some of these mobile suits are very similar, they put in work to make their loadouts unique. For example, the GM being like Rook from siege, as a sort of shield bastion type class.
And the Zaku looks like a fun run and gun type suit! I love how they made even the most basic suits viable
thats because the game is an overwatch reskin to the very base code
its going to use suits similar to those charecters and loadouts even its effects visually are copy pasted in some spots
idk who they bought these assets and engine from but i smell some other hero shooter dev or publisher is gunna get pissed and sue bandai for this honesty

Hope it had the know how from Tales of Arise and Elden ring, which have compensated Bamco's reputation.
@KingInTheNorth It's specifically looking like a high quality game with fun gameplay. Watched a Japanese live broadcast of it last week and it was looking really fun. I have also kinda been looking for a Overwatch replacement after I stopped playing a while ago and haven't touched it since the Blizzard stuff.

love how much extra screen time they gave to barbatos cause hes definitely one of the fan favorites
I just noticed the GM Sniper 2 can see the outline of enemies though walls, very nice.
Wasn't so excited at first but its growing on me and I'm excited to play
honestly already loving this roster without the caveat that it could use a bit more representation from non UC series considering its barbatos, exia and turn A (which is still part of UC in some regard)
Technically the Dom Trooper is from Seed Destiny, bit of an odd choice though.
Sad there was nothing from Wing. There are clearly hero units at play, so i was hoping for a heavyarms or a deathscythe. Also something from 08th ms team

@@TheFlyingSailorYT I mean its a good mix of UC designs. like you get the superstars like the sazabi and the rx-78-2, some great designs but dont have universal love like the asshimar and marasai and also the best design ever, the guntank.

I think the next suits that should be playable are Ground Type, Hyaku Shiki, Gundam Mk 2, The O and maybe some more classic suits like Gelgoog or Gyan

Much as I would have loved to see Nu Gundam in this game, I'm more than pleased with the roster so far, especially Sazabi. I'm also wicked pleased that it looks like the GM Sniper looks like it'll be playing more like Quake/Halo, where the sniper rifle still maintains its accuracy when not ADS, instead of something like most modern games where the sniper either can't be fired, or may as well have a broken barrel for how inaccurate it suddenly is.
So happy to see my boy the Asshimar being playable.
Also it's nice for the Dom Trooper to be playable over their UC progenitor.
Kinda odd for the Pale Rider to not have either the canon or gatling...

As what everyone wants, a cockpit as HUD would be a big help to make it look a little bit scaled and some city maps or space maps woth small facilities or buildings would be very cool

I can see Unicorns NTD mode as an ultimate giving an immense power and speed boost for a limited amount of time, oooo it'd be sweeter in they had the Unicorn theme play when that happens
