I know everyone's hoping that it does successfully and we get more mobile suits. But we also got to realize that could also open the door to more FPS gundam games. Like, imagine a battlefield like gundam game.
That'd be neat for sure. Get the infantry and Type 61's involved and you'd have a very chaotic mess of a good time.
We already had that, it was called Mobile Suit Gundam Online! Japan only though. But it was very Battlefield style.
Give me Zeonic Front 2.

If i'm being honest turn A is the most unaesthetically pleasing of all the gundams i've seen so it's understandable in my eyes, but I always enjoy unique designs regardless so i'm glad he's just as fun to play in the game as any other
@@guyver5er412 I dunno, I think it works for him. Turn A Is set so far out into the future that the standard Gundam design norms don't work anymore. Helps that it's also just a prototype copycat of another alien suit called the TURN X, both designed by Syd Mead.
It seems to me that the game makers forgot the Exia has a beam pistol.
They also forgot that most of the mobilesuits here have beam sabers.

Gouf as like a close combat suit with its wire to stun or use as a grappling hook sounds cool. The 8th MS team version with its gatling shield could be cool, too

I am excited to see a more robust selection of ms as the game goes gold and post launch support goes into full swing. My mind jumps to Astray red frame and Shining/God Gundam. I'd almost say, for the purpose of this fps gundam game, I'd love to see heavy arms rep the wing suits.
Heavy and Gushion Full City both deserve to be in this game. I'd want Wing or Wing 0 but that buster rifle is gonna be broken af because it pretty much has to be, same thing with GP02 and it's nuke.

i played this test beta and while it didnt go well for a ultrawide i LOVED every bit of it. wish they'll release it soon.
The number of shots to destruction for destiny was really accurate. Your gun wasn't useless a stopgap to closing to melee but not a one hit kills 3 suits op gun.
Rx 78-2 was underpowered at range. 3 hits with a one hit crit kill on a 16 round clip and it's perfect. That beam gun is a ship cannon.
The zaku was spot on.
The barbatos pile bunker mace was WAY under strength.
Sazabi PERFECT!!
No issues up to the guntank those shoulder guns are one hit suit killers EACH.
Exias blade was underpowered.
I also noticed no parts could be destroyed specifically like arms, head, or weapons.

Well i believe they're going to try and keep it relatively simple. It's biggest competition is currently overwatch 1/2, so while a gundam game, they'll also have to make it attractive to players who like this gameplay

It's seems to be more like a gundom take on overwatch I hope they make a game that mimics the intensity and the kayoss that we see in the animes like most of the battles in ibo or the battle when neo zeon attacks the naval base in unicorn
Pale rider and sazabi are two of my most favorite mobile suits. I'm hoping they add the zaku 3 and the kampfer in the future

If this game does well, I hope they add more mobile suits. Like the Unicorn models and all the Gundam Wing mobile suits. The most picked would be the Burning Gundam. Plus there are plenty of Zeon models they could add like the Gouf or Zaku 1.

Doesn't feel like we're piloting a mech i wish they make the location more like miniature cities and destructive buildings make the Gundam feel bigger in proportion wise.
This exactly. I really hope they are more creative in designing the maps in the future. I wouldn't even mind trading some level of map balancing in exchange for some unique and different maps (Kinda like Rainbow 6 Siege maps did). Anything that will give us a break from the same old bland, symmetrical maps in video games nowadays
This, and headshots behaving like any other FPS, are the only two things I don't like. Headshots aren't necessarily a mobile suit's death--you fucked up *some* of their sensors, but a mobile suit can still do stuff without a head. Just ask Amuro.
@@Maverick2736 It is in the Sazabi's case at least. It's cockpit is located in the head.
Would be great if players can deal a huge ton of damage if they damage the mobile suit's cockpit. Same as headshot damage but only applies in mobile suit's cockpit location.
@@Maverick2736 They're not going to do the cockpit thing nor should they. The fact they're making this game free to play on PC and consoles tells me they're trying to make this game friendly for the casual gamer and non-gundam fans. Which I think is great, I hope this game gets big and gets new people into Gundam. Doing extra damage to the cockpit instead of the head would be too much of a learning curve for most people, especially if they aren't that familiar with Gundam

Pleasantly suprised to see the Asshimar, its one of my favourite suits. I think we could do with a Gouf or Gelgoog though, I hope they add them, and also it seems wrong to have the Sazabi but not the Nu Gundam.
Looks fun but I think almost every weapon, melee tool and explosive needs a big buff, from this footage it seems to take way too long to kill a single mobile suit when it comes to one on one situations and I feel like most randoms are going to be way too selfish to properly work as a team which could lead to the same kind of problems that have plagued Overwatch so badly. All the mobile suits ideally should feel busted in their own way instead of everyone being a bullet sponge.
I was able to play the network test and from my experience i think only a couple need damage fixing, like the Zaku II's machine gun could use more bodyshot damage bc it was way too easy to unload on a guy but miss a few shots and need to bail out to reload. I think really what they need to do is speed up the reloads overall, those feel incredibly unforgiving on basically every suit except maybe the GM sniper ii and the Asshimar, then i think a lot of issues would be solved and a lot more fights would be easier/faster. (also nerf barbatos that thing is gross lmao)
@@picklechip9294 appreciate the insight, I can definitely see the reload speed increase helping, maybe also an increase in the fire rate for most weapons could help it feel better as well.
The complete opposite, it's too easy to kill thing's in this game, take Barbatos for example, can literally 2 shot the tankiest Mobile Suit in the game, and Zaku can 1 clip everything that has like 1000 HP and below
@@yamanu2221 I'll agree with you that the Barbatos secondary jump slam attack is definitely busted because of how fast and how much damage it deals but I disagree about the Zaku and pretty much everything else.
Based on this footage I actually think the Zaku's damage is totally fair as far as good damage output for a hectic FPS like this because he can't actually one clip, if you watch his footage back you'll see at best it gets someone to one shot but the trade off is that you'll be stuck in a reload animation before you can execute, but I still feel your comment is a bit anecdotal because if you think about it that's basically only two good mobile suits out of literally over a dozen mechs with low damage and keep in mind that this was stationary target practice, when you're in the thick of it people are going to be sliding and moving constantly which will make it much harder to be precise and I've seen it in real time from other peoples gameplay. I do however think that this will be remedied and balanced by either upping the other mobile suits damage or firerate so that those other mechs can stand toe to toe with Barbatos and Zaku.
@@SkuIIKn1ght Trust me it's not as it seems, sitting there and reloading with Zaku is not a problem for it because it has 3 dashes, it's a flanker, you can get in and get out with extreme ease, and if you have somewhat good aim all you gotta do is aim at the general position of a Mobile Suits head with Zaku and they're gonna die, it 1 clips if you hit like 2-3 headshots which isn't hard in the slightest, GM Sniper 1 taps with a headshot, Barbatos 2 shots with it's absurdly broken abilities. The Gundam's that do weak damage are supposed to because they're tanks, such as Gundam, Guntank and GM, Sazabi actually 2 shots headshot which definitely isn't hard with it since it has a literal shotgun, and it's the tankiest thing in the game, Methuss does terrible damage because it's a healer, it can revive from a far and it's healing is really good, Dom kills in around 2-3 hits, possibly 1 if you direct hit and use it's laser, Pale Rider's burst is ridiculous, 2 clips most things in the game, and with Hades I've seen some of the craziest pop offs in the game so far, Exia's rushdown capabilites are second to none only to Barbatos if you use it correctly, the Mobile Suits aren't as weak as you think
It would be nice Efreet added next Update especially Efreet Exam with main attack dual heat sword, skill 1 Grenade launcher on arm, skill 2 rocket launcher side leg armor, skill 3 dash forward and Ultimate with EXAM System same as Hades system

i am seriously so sad that this game only lasted a year. its such a good game that had so much opportunities and im gonna miss playing it, hell ive been missing playing it recently. its literally so dead and i cant even get a match anymore. i hate bandai

It would be cool if they add G Gundam and Wing Gundam later. Or do something like boss fight mode against things like Big Zam, Neu Ziel, Dark Gundam and Psyco Gundam...
Hell, they could add whole roster of something like Gundam Battle Assault 1-2...Not to mention Zeta Gundam, ZZ Full Armor Gundam, X and XX Gundam etc.

Love this game already, sure some fidelities weren't included in the game such as beam saber fights and customizable weapons like in Bo2. I'm willing to wait for this game though! It's got a lot of uniqueness to it in a way despite it being an extraction/hold the point kinda game like so many others people keep referencing (mainly overwatch. Not seeing much of the similarities other than "Gundams have abilities that have cooldowns hurr durr.") Nothing of this game has reminded me of overwatch, in fact I feel the only quality that carries that likeness are the ways they implemented some gundams themselves but so far you don't have any boring shield metas, no character feels overwhelmed by others, and it's a lot more fast paced than I anticipated considering most Gundam games have the mobile suits and whatnot have a familiar "patient" speed to em. This looks easy to pick up and playable!

I personally think a battlefront 2 esque system would work best for gundam, start out as a grunt and work up to become the pilot of the Nu. Idk gundam hasn't really found it's place in gaming yet but at least there's this game.

βプレイしましたけと普通に強かったですよ。特にハデス中の殲滅力はぶっ壊れでした。原作やってないので原作と違うという意味であれば俺には分かりませんが。

Well Barbatos only have mace and sword they should added the long range gun too. But they don't..
@@casvalcat3546 But Exia's default gun is his GN Beam Rifle which GN Sword attached too, and he wielding it, so why not use it? Unlike Barbatos who is normally more meele than Exia, and in anime we usually see Exia use gun alot too

wrong BGM in Palerider and GM Sniper II, GM Sniper II shouldn't use 08 ms team's music since it did not appeared in 08 ms team but 0080 war in the pocket, same happened at palerider, while palerider did not appeared in Blue destiny and have it's own theme
For GM sniper 2, it might be better to use lost war chronicle theme because one of the protagonist pilot it
@@trollinoakenshield9822 that's not a bad choice, they got really good music for the delta team and GM Sniper ii really is one of the protagonist's though (not quite but not wrong either). Even rise from the ashes got a good music, but white dingo version is kinda different to normal gm sniper ii though

not gonna lie, can you list the songs you used on the vid? would love to lsiten to them seperately, would be alot easier then searching for them
should have been 3rd person, the models look really nice. the ultimate Gundam game for me would be a cross between this and GBO2 with added customisation, but only within the limits of the mobile suit itself, like a Zaku 2 cant carry a beam rifle unless you give a battery pack or upgrade its reactor. the gameplay/ movement to be just like this but with freedom of melee anytime and counters like GBO2. but the 3rd person is what makes it all great; to be able to see your MS. aside from that this game looks good, only thing to work on is the sound for the beam guns they sound like water guns especially the Gundam beam rifle which has that unique loud sound.
Now to wait for the Leo
