I wish the background animations that was used for the intro of the SNES release of Turtles in Time (1:07) had also been used for the intro of the 1989 release of the arcade game too, just like how it was done for the opening theme song intro of the 1987 animated TV series.
I wouldn't call it a mistake, I think they chose to use this one because it's a homage to the cartoon intro, and because it's sort of a tradition in many TMNT games of the time. It's also likely that they did it because they could reuse assets from the intro of the original TMNT arcade game.
@@velostation6309 No, I meant a mistake to change the format for the arcade game. They seemed to use the cartoon format for every other TMNT game for a while. (I forget about Tournament Fighters.)
I gotta say this, the turtles looks more menacing and more threatening without eyes. The just white eyes looks better like from the comics.I mean they're mutants.Teenage "Mutant" ninja turtles. Its just my opinion on how i like they are.
The arcade is the only one that’s was close to the cartoon series the NES ruined the teenage mutant ninja turtles arcade game the Super Nintendo didn’t have the theme song turtle power the game boy was trash 🗑 Nintendo finally ends the worst handheld console of all time and replaces it with the Nintendo Switch improved gameboy the only thing left for Nintendo to do is to release their next powerful Nintendo console that’s powerful as the PS5 Xbox series X with achievements
@@NicholasVetter-sy8io nobody like the NES version nobody likes the gameboy games do you see them in GameStop anywhere the answer is no but they are only on ebay for those who really are crazy to buy them people are making fun of the old consoles here you are defending the old gen 8 bit consoles that made people like me go buy arcade machines
One thing I like about these Turtles games is how uniform they are, all the openings feature the first scene of the TV opening in some form.
The Gameboy one kinda started off sounding like ghostbusters
The Manhattan project's music is ultimate !!!
It sounds amazing for NES.

Where is the intro from the arcade edition of TMNT: In Time ?
I didn't include it because it's different from the others, I wanted to compare the more similar intros.
@@velostation6309 Understandable. I wonder if Konami deemed that arcade intro a mistake and that is why they changed it for the home releases?

TMNT 1987 was a show created to sell toys to children. They can't look scary or threatening.
@@chris_t2020f you want “scary”, just watch the Michael Bay films. They’re nightmare fuel. I’m gonna stick to my roots, the 2012 gritty CGI reboot.
Guys...?
I played this game before
