Im 24, so i grew up with the 2003 TMNT on 4Kids! Every morning i was excited to watch the heroes in a half shell kick some butt lol I had action figures, the toy of Leonardos katana (i wrote something about the Extreme Dinosaurs on it) .... Man those were the days

Was at a 90's party at a local bar. I went up to the DJ and had him play Go Ninja go, it comes on everyone goes nuts. Shortly after a chick walks up and requests the original them it come on Everyone goes super nuts and we all started jamming out. Fantastic time.

Instantly upon hearing it, I am transported back to a Saturday morning in the mid 1980s, sitting in front of the TV while enjoying some Captain Crunch and waiting for the episode to begin. With the rest of the weekend ahead of me and a pile of TMNT action figures on standby in my room, ready to go outside in the backyard and play for hours with the garden hose trickling through my makeshift sewer system and Turtle Hideout! Man those sure were the days. Post Script: Shout out to Grandma for always being on the lookout for that TMNT figure I didn't have yet and hooking it up whenever she could. Love you Grandma.

Which version of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is the best? My answer: it depends on which one you grew up on. The one I grew up on was the '87 version of TMNT where the show was famous for it's theme song "Heroes In A Half-Shell! Turtle Power!" and where Hamato Yoshi and Master Splinter were one and the same character.
This is probably the only cartoon themes that really, REALLY, pumps you up! Man do I miss the good ol' TMNT. Still I'm happy to have experienced some of the golden age of American cartoons.... Saber Rider and Thunder Cats being two of them. Wow, the Saber Rider theme is just as awesome as the TMNT theme.!!!!

I am 43 years old and this is a theme song that I liked when I was a kid. Now today I watch them and I look at the forms of martial arts that they use so wish I could do that. Learning the type of martial arts that they command means never having to use more force than you have to. Watching them when I was young and again after I became an adult taught me some things about self-control and so from this cartoon I learned self control. 🤔 No this is what you call a blast from the past from 1987. Wow that's mind--🤯--blowing here, I was 13 years old when this teenage mutant Ninja turtle cartoon came out and now I am 47 years old. Oh my goodness where did the time go between 13 and 47 years old. I never would have believe it but it's true what they say, time really does go by fast when you're having fun. Wow that's mind--🤯--blowing here, I was 13 years old when this teenage mutant Ninja turtle cartoon came out and now I am 47 years old.
Oh my goodness where did the time go between 13 and 47 years old.
I never would have believe it but it's true what they say, time really does go by fast when you're having fun.
I wish we could go back to the 1980s again, I want to be a young kid or teenager again and everything was simple and easy back then

Even though I’m 13 I enjoyed watching this as a kid. My uncle would put this on for me and my siblings a lot and I’m glad he did.

I'm an 18 year old Ninja Turtle fan and have been since I was 10. I obviously grew up in the 2012 era but I do think the 87 series has the best opening.

I grew up on this one and the 2003 version.
I still can't believe this iteration of TMNT is not even on paramount+ and yet there's 1987 versions of Michelangelo, Leonardo, Raphael, Donnetello, April o' Neil & Shredder in NASB, Nickelodeon Extreme Tennis, & NKR3!
Probably the best Turtle song, if not, one of the best in the franchise I suppose.
