I’m subscribed and so is my wife. She doesn’t know she’s subscribed but she has. If my daughter leaves her phone unlocked then she’ll be subscribing too.
Not sure if my experience is a fluke or not but the watch I did not work reliably: Something was loose in how the crown connected with the time setting position, which made the watch useless as I could not set the time. Manual winding worked fine but not the time setting (second position). To Baltany's credit I have to admit that they have been responsive and offered to reimburse me for the cost of shipping the defective watch back to them, which I did. Now I am still waiting for them to get back to me on when they're receiving the watch and sending a replacement. I have bought quite a few watches both preowned and new and have NEVER had a watch arrive DOA like this.
Nice review, Jason! I have something like this, but with a mother of pearl dial and a Miyota 9039 movement. Had it 8 months and it keeps very good time. Cheers 🍻!
I often think the brand should call itself EP as elegance personified seems to be a common theme, or maybe VV for vintage vibes. I missed my calling as a watch entrepreneur… great review J
I have a Glycine watch that looks like this .Screw down back, fixed pins. This Swiss made watch was issued to German soldiers around World War Two. Real history.
I really like the watch - just wish the Arabic numerals were more stylised or there was a California dial option as it looks a tad basic. Otherwise, great review as always Jason. Duly subscribed for a while!!
Hi Jason, Thank you very much for the revue. For me it is an extraordinary watch. A dress watch with a screw down crown, Strong lume, excellent profile and superb aesthetics, is very rare. This should be the Indiana Jones watch in the last movie. Not the Boulton quartz. A question if you know the answer? Why the MOP dial watch it is 200m water resistant, and this only 100m?looks like the same case. Many thanks
Thank you very much, I agree! I'm pretty sure the MOP variant is upgraded. Dial, movement and I imagine a better gasket system? I may be wrong but that's what I'd guess
A very pretty watch and I like the vintagr design. I still haven't reconciled myself to chinese movements - I prefer a NH35 at the minimum. Also, I just purchaed one of those art deco manual winders from Vario, so im set with dress watches for now. Ok for the price i think, considering all the pieces and if one is comfortable with a Seagull movement. Subscribed already!
I’m subscribed! Lol. I love the watch but with my 8 1/4 inch wrist a 36mm watch just looks like a kids watch. It’s one I’ll have to admire on someone else’s wrist. Price I pay for breaking my wrist many years ago.
@@JasonTheWatchGuy I like vintage and vintage style, but that usually means 36mm or smaller. So I have to go bigger style watches or hope someone does a larger homage watch. The grass is always greener right? Lol
I watch a gamer named Vale who plays PUBG and he is showing he has about the same amount roughly of subscribers as you watching his vids. Lots of freeloaders out there
This is a bit sexy....very nice indeed, I can't even complain about the price from what we can see I'd say it's worth it....this confirms it, I've been out of Scotland too long....🏴⌚🏴😉

Wtf
This is the type of commitment I need 😂
Any of my wife’s comments that have “my husband” in them are written by me. Come to think of it all of my wife’s comments were written by me. 🤣🤣
Don't be surprised by her credit card bill next month when the watches starts arriving.
I’m not usually a two-tone fan, but this is a nice subtle mix…I dig it!
Theyve got the level spot on here I think

Fantastic upgrade
Hello Jason ! Baltany are experts when it comes to vintage watches and that one in your hand is sharp 👍 cheers 🍻
I agree pal! Thanks for watching
I have this in the single stainless steel colorway with 'blued' handset ... lovely small dress watch.
I've also been subscribed for a while.
Great little pieces in my opinion!
You have indeed, got to be a matter of years now
@@JasonTheWatchGuy lol I think it might be Jason .. I lose track of how long I've been collecting ... maybe 5-7 years?
Ooh bloody hell, that’s lovely.
And then there was the lume shot! I’ve stopped making the packed lunches for tomorrow.
Man, it packs a punch!!!
Good info.
Fine watch. I like the old vintage look. Definately to be worn at the office or as a leisure time watch. Or fornal events.
Yes, perfect for that formal style
Been subscribed from the first time I saw this channel ;) thanks for the review and it's a classic watch. Well made like all their watches.
Thank you mate! I appreciate it

Can't disagree, elegance personified nails their watches. Always time to become a microbrand owner...if you hate yourself enough that is 😂
I'm not generally keen on two tone watches or gold with a black dial, but that does look good. A dress field watch is hard to pull off! Good review.
There's so much I shouldn't like about it but I just love it haha

interesting. if i didnt dislike rolex so much i may have got one
This is probably the time that I would've got on with Rolex...not these days
@@JasonTheWatchGuy i guess their oyster predated the omega marine as a waterproof watch, so i will give them that
