    • @Renmiou
      @Renmiou 8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      +solo monsta The most famous make up guru on TH-cam would be Michelle Phan, you could also look up particular kinds of make up such as smokey eyes, natural looking make up; anything you can think up and then look at the related or suggested videos. I found that dolls face-up tutorials are pretty good too (Nicolle's dreams and Armeleia are some of my favourites) because they create the whole feature whereas make up artists just modify what's already there.

  • @Derek_Watts

    Hey, Ahmed, I just thought I'd point out that you don't have to flatten your layers in order to liquefy the image. The three buttons across the top (Load Mesh, Load Last Mesh, and Save Mesh) allow you to repeat the liquefy operation as many times as necessary, across layers, files, computers, etc.
    Obviously, you don't need the advice, but if it helps you out at all, it's perhaps a small repayment for your great contribution to the community. Cheers!

      +Sophia Sher I'm a guy, and I remember stumbling into makeup tutorials back when TH-cam was young, and I felt really relaxed watching them for some reason haha, but now we have ASMR videos, which aim to relax you and it's not just make up. Heck, I find art tutorials like these relaxing as well, plus you learn a lot.

    • @CarlStuff
      @CarlStuff 8 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      I watch them since They're relaxing as Silver said, I also watch them since they have some relation to art, and Kinda makes me apply the same technique to the eyes and blush and how they would look like.

    For the longest I have not understood what layer masks are for. I even watched a tutorial specifically for Photoshop layer masks and still didn't get it. But, in just a few seconds while just adding freckles you made the usefulness clear. I know there's more to learn but I have a much better idea of how they can be utilized to brush in textures and stuff without having to do a bunch of filtering and editing a layer. Thanks, dude.

    Seems like the blue functions like the subsurface color of the skin, while the Red is more of a general color-wash to unify all the colors.
    The blue also being beneath the hair and other parts really just makes them harmonize with the undertone of the skin.
    You should pick the other colors based on that tone, if you use a cool subsurface colors than warm colored clothing will make the skin look sickly. I think that's an easy way to thing about why doing it like that seems to work, rather than just doing it without understanding it.
