ohh HI, yeesh this took a while. Class is in session, PAY ATTENTION esti! I survived the sickness and now I'm stronger than ever! 😈 This week's class is all about portrait painting, very fancy. Hope it helps. Also, hope I won't have to call the TH-cam police on you for not having a great weekend, you better. See you next week!
You know Mark I feel kinda guilty at the end of each video cause it feels like a hung up on a call with my art teacher since it just cuts off (don't worry marc I have paid my fees )
Really wish these tutorials show the layer arrangements and settings they're just as important, they skip these things and it's really frustrating this video was explained great but I don't know what he did with the layers and how he arranged and set them
I’m an intermediate artist but I never fully took the time to see a more detailed video on how to do portraits better. Just even watching this, it’s clicked. I’ve been wanting to do portraits in my style but couldn’t figure out why sometimes it would be a bit off. Thanks so much you’re flipping awesome!! 😭🙏🏼
Just wanna know "DO YOU READ MINDS?" I was literally searching all day how to paint realistic portraits and you posted the video Thank you so so so so much
Dude you're so awesome man. Thank goodness I discovered ur channel few months ago. I'll be honest, I haven't bought your courses yet, but when I have enough $$$, I'll do so. Bear in mind I'm not saying the course is expensive. On the contrary, $500 usd for a complete course like this is considered very generous when I've seen similar courses shooting for over $1000 usd. Anyway, I appreciate you always coming up with hilarious ways to spice up your YT content. I enjoy them so much! Thank you, ma man.
Hi Marc. Could you make a video talking about how to not be a perfectionist and how to know when to stop polishing? Some artists as me which have anxiety just wants every single pixel perfectly rendered, and this is really frustrating Any tip from a professional like you would be awesome Btw thank you for your amazing work ✌️ 🇧🇷
Same for me. I try to minimize using undo. Set a timer when doing some practices or even personal work. This will increase your productivity. Also Set it whenever you try to fix your drawing even if it's just a tiny pixel. Always remember to use a timer or you will get trapped in loop. It doesn't look painful, but being stuck actually slows down your progress and productivity. Why? I literally spent over thirty minutes writing this comment. If you have friends or family around you while working on something, ask them to "wake" you up if you seem to focused. I don't think I have ocd, it's just a bad habit.
I always struggled to draw the face from different angles, mainly where to place the side lines. You put into a new perspective for me by looking at it in a 3D plane instead of a 2D and it really clicked! Thanks a ton!
I like how short but easily applicable your explanations are. My works have improved considerably because of this channel and your awesome lessons and epic intros! Thank you!
Reilly method is a good way to learn how the face is structured, I did one sitting of an hour of study using it and I got so much better, instant improvement...
i usually expect youtube art teachers like this to be rude and offend their viewers for not knowing the basics- but you're actually a fun person it motivates me much more to do stuff now :D
i was struggling so much with colors and shading before finding ur channel and now i feel confident and knowledgeable enough to try again ty so so much!!!!
Been following you Marc for a while now. Just want to thank you for making these videos for all of us and for all your work. It means a lot to have someone teaching like you do and with attitude like yours, it's very nice.
Thank you so much😭 Your videos are always full of useful information I was just about to learn how to paint digitally face, and boom, your video popped put Thank you for providing such a quality content😩💖✨
omg thank you so much, i've been having so much trouble drawing faces and heads and your video explained it better than anyone else I found. I can finally finish the piece I put off for not being able to draw faces! All your videos are so helpful.
C'est fou à quel point tes vidéos sont simples et directes, en plus d'être dynamique. Honnêtement, après avoir trouvé ta chaîne, j'ai arrêté de chercher des trucs ailleurs... Pas besoin, tout est là!
Thank you very much, I am back at the basics with gesture drawing and anatomy, but this video is very helpful, and sure when I am back at the face I will be watching it more than one time
I'm crying thank you😭💖 I'm a photobasher and I love creating characters but I cannot create consistent characters because of the face so now I can finally do that😭💖💖
I think this was the most funny video ive ever seen from u until now, keep going! From what ive seen so far in yt u r absolutley the Killer! Veeeeeeery ery nice Job Marc!!!

Funny I was just thinking about getting better at digital portrait painting, pull up youtube and bam!
new portrait video. Thanks!
Hey Marc, what did you use for the intro? It was pretty funny
Esti HAHA
Ooh thank goodness you're alright and looking better than ever! Thank you for this lesson! 😊
I like how Marc tracked the portrait onto his own face. That's very cool
How? Is it an app or something? I'd like to animate my art too.
Marc’s „bad drawings” look like WikiHow illustrations
Your pfp lol (≧▽≦)

This is gold✨ all my portraits end up looking creepy or bland, same features, always facing left and looking at their right lol
Mine are always strait on, same basic features...so boring, I love this video.

The program for the face animation is called Mug life ✌️
