With some messing about I did a fresh install of 23H2 on a singe core, 64bit Intel CPU, 2Gb ram, 40Gb SATA1 No TPM No EFI No Secure Boot and MBR file system. Just because I did it, dont bother doing it yourself. It was slower than continental drift. I got less board watching my finger nails grow. 11 hours to install and 20+ seconds just to launch file explorer, BUT it does show you can install 23h2 onto almost anything.
Can my computer run Windows 11 too? Because my computer does have TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot but just an incompatible Intel Core i7- 6700HQ Processor only!!
When i try to rename the key it says "the registry editor cannot rename new key #1. The key alrwady exists. Type another name and try again" what could i do?
I'd check to see what other keys are in that section to see if you've inadvertently added a duplicate. If not try deleting the new key (make sure it's the right one and that it's not for something else) and re installing it. Hope this helps.
I'm on swedish language for the install, so don't know exactly the error message on english, but when i run the setup it says kinda "Cannot determain if your pc can run windows 11 or not, please restart and try again." I'm using the "mount-method" and trying to upgrade to win11. I have TPM2.0 and everything enabled, but an "old" cpu, Ryzen 7 1700. Any tips?
Did you manage to edit the registry settings OK? I'd check there first to make sure it's all set up correctly. Any mispellings etc will not turn off the checks.
@@BytesNBits Yeah, everything was in place, and check came back with something new. A "Tracking" folder: (default) reg_sz (value not set) and AllowUpgradesWithUnsupportedTPMOrCPU with a 1 value data (edit DWORD32-bit) Value (*Hexadecimal (selected) Decimal and A "Volatile" folder: (default) reg_sz (value not set) BoxResult REG_DWORD (c1900201) and under data tab 0xc1900201 (3247440385). The installer should let you choose which version to install. Make sure you've downloaded the correct ISO image from Microsoft. I think the one I used was the all versions download.
Are you booting from the USB drive as a UEFI device? Maybe the SD card is corrupted. Try re flashing it. Hard to say other than that. Hope you get it working.
@@Bajrang_11007 I'm not sure what that would be. If it was an issue with the PC specification you'd get a sensible error so it looks like some other incompatibility. You may need to try a fresh install rather than an upgrade.
Just tried your approach (Windows support page Reg Edit as shown in your video) and it still failed to install with the following message during the Windows 11 setup process after mounting the ISO: "This PC doesn't currently meet Windows 11 system requirements Here's why: The PC must support TPM 2.0 The PC must support Secure Boot"
I think you need to turn on secure boot. That is a requirement for it to work. You do that in your BIOS setup. It will either be called secure boot or I think UEFI boot.
I've installed Windows 11 on my old Celeron laptop. Also on my gaming computer. What I like about windows 11 is that I didn't have to install drivers separately. It just detects all your hardware and gets the right drivers for you automatically. GPU drivers, wifi adapter. Didn't have to download anything. They just work without me doing anything. It fixed my WiFi problems with the laptop too.
It's the exact same behavior of Windows 10@@100Bucks However, there are already newer computers that are out where you have to have Windows 11 to get drivers through Windows Update, at least for some devices.
Your explanation was great. folowd your youTube step by step, and now I am using windows11. Thank You!!
Glad it helped!

Great! Thanks for doing the experiment and saving the rest of us the 11 hour road to disappointment. :)
Can I upgrade my windows 7 desktop to 11? I have all the requirements except the tcm…

Usually yes. You can bypass all the requirements.

Yes. Definitely. Just follow the video and you'll be on Windows 11 in no time!
I can’t download this I’m having problems pls help
I've checked the link and it all seems fine. I'm not sure why you can't download.

You're welcome!
I have a 12 year old Acer Aspire 5750G running activated Windows 11 pro 23h2 effortlessly with zero problems.
Great. Most pcs will run Win11 fine. Just Microsoft getting in the way.
It didnt work on my hp pavilion 17 notebook pc
Not sure why. You PC should be fine. Did you get any warning or error messages?
All the way until it says it won't because my system "doesn't support secure boot".
The tweaks should have bypassed that check. Have you checked they are all in place correctly.

i7 4700 is FORTH, not sixth generation. i7 6700 is sixth!
Sorry. Skip of the tongue. I think I said 4700 when my machine is the 6700
wait, older computers can even run win11??
Yes!! Turns out it's quite easy to get it to install. Plus all the updates work even though Microsoft sort of says it doesn't.
