heres a couple things that might be wrong; did you be sure to extract the roms? and is the folder this "ISO" not lowercase. it needs to be all caps. but if its not that than i think i know what it is. the ROM file needs to be .ISO for instance, it would look like this "godofwar.ISO" if its any thing else it wont show up on the psp. double check all of this NOTE: its really hard to find a site that downloads the ROMS directly into .ISO format, and its even more of a pain in the ass to convert a file to that. my email is at the bottom of my bio, if you would like to email me i can help you out with where to get ROMS in .iso format, not just for psp but for any console. if that ends up being the issue just send me a email and il help you out.

no not at all! all modding your console does is change the firmware to a custom fan made firmware, that then allows you to download game off of the internet, and emulate other consoles. it in no way shape or form affects your consoles health, there is the risk of bricking your console if its newer, but this console is 20 years old, so this video is as up to date as it will ever get regarding the sony firmware. so if those were your only concerns id say your good to go!
i agree with Dannie, use your phone hot spot if you absolutely need to connect it. the psp in its 20 years of age can no longer connect to modern WIFI for security and hardware reasons. though the lovely thing about the method i show in this video is that you don't have to connect to the WIFI. as long as you have a computer that can connect to the WIFI, your all set!

Hi, thanks for the tut! But I'm having some issues lol. --My PSP was running 6.61 infinity when I bought it and, from what I've heard, I need to downgrade using Chronoswitch to basically step down from 6.61 to 6.60 to get rid of infinity, and then update back again to just run 6.61 with no infinity. (since when I tried to permanently install ARK-4 it said I needed to uninstall infinity) So I did all of that and the downgrader popped up in my games, I press it, but at the end when it's about to downgrade, it says since my system already is running the latest version and I cannot downgrade. I've tried this like 3 times already and I know that modding a PSP is super easy but I'm stumped. Any idea what's going on?😭
@puubearii hmmm. Do you still have ark 4 on the PSP? Even if it's not fully installed, the 2 different firmwares existing might be causing an issue. You could also try going into your PSP files on your computer by plugging it into your PC. If you can find the file for infinity and just delete it that might work? I would be cautious with that second method though because if there's not a backup of the PSPs original firmware, it could brick the system. But either one of these would be my first two options to try. Let me know if either works!
