I feel like I needed this a few years ago as I was struggling on how to make my reference since my class as taking reference we found. I was dying on how to make the joints since they were hidden underneath the armor somewhat and how to add extra detail.
sure, just follow a couple of references instead of drawing, maybe you see a mech with nice head design and you copy it, and then you see another reference with a nice shoulder shield so you copy it, and so on and so forth
hi mark kifak? habeit inno min concept art la blender... is there a way to reach u? im a 7 year blender user living in lebanon, i have a project if we can collaborate.. i have a wide knowledge in shading, geometry nodes (average) , compositing but i struggle in modelling
i have some plans for this robot and I'll add it to a short film I'm working on, for the time being here's the proof of concept short film with a more complex leg rig with a similar 3 joints leg th-cam.com/video/uqhwGr29lxw/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=M.motionStudio
the idea of drawing over the blender model is great

Okay, now show me an animation of this robot walking.

the idea of drawing over a model is lame and a waste of time no 3d artist other then u does that lol
how pathetic can you be to comment such ignorant thing ? a lot of professional artists use this technique but you're obviously not one to realize
