- Hello people! Today I'll teaching my way of making robots in blender. It's usually pretty effective mostly utilizing greebles to create the illusion of complexity. This is an old Hollywood classic most famously used on Star Wars where they had all of this random mechanical nonsense on an the ships to make them look cool.
Thanks a ton to the Rokoko team for sending me my own Smartsuit Pro, it has been insanely helpful and I've saved weeks of time with it!

love the tut bro thank u so much for your time and dedication apreciate it
You should check out one of the dev diaries for Overgrowth. Those mad men devised an auto-rigging system. You can slap almost anything onto your game character and it's going to be animated properly!
Insane tutorial, thank you so much, actually gave me the courage to rig lol
I always sorta wondered how people modelled those super detailed robots. Now that I just know they're kinda just stacking models on a base, i feel more confident in creating in them.
Thanks.
you know Italian wow you are good at blender and know more than one language tu sei una bestia che bravo
how do i separate the two mirrored parts?
Hey, how did u mirror ur objects? U added deco objects to the right arm and than suddenly they were on the left too but as separate objects... if id do that i would use a mirror modifier, use a center part as mirror center object, apply it, go to edit and separate them, cause after using mirror mod, they r 1 object with one center point... so a lot of anoying steps and i feel like u had a mich faster method, my question:
Is there a way to mirror objects as separate objects in 3d space, meaning i dont have to select a mirror center object but can simply tell blender , ey if i moved my obect 1,5 on X, mirror the other at -1,5X
Pls answer, really need a faster workflow in that...
Liked and subscribed! Looks interesting!

A tutorial for intermediate users and certainly not for beginners. I have no idea what he's doing 95 percent of the time.
OMG your voice has changed so much since the last time i heard you.

my rig doesn’t come with fingers how should i add them? also this is an absolutely amazing tutorial!!

There was a Hubert and now there is a Landgren ! (⊙ˍ⊙)

DUDEEE.NICE, BUT HOW DID U MADE THAT TAPE EFFECT
Very talented. Unbelievable. What’s your pc specs for this beast to run on
I didn't get the thing about ctrl+h. Can anybody explain it?
Hi William, you do amazing work, just a question how much cost a intro made by you?
long time no see?
Good stuff
awesome!
Currently studying animation I really love scifi concept of robots but Idk where to start from?
Any advice?
Love your Greebles pack :)
My huge inspiration is Ian hubert He is the sensei of texturing XD
epic

Hey. How do you do lens flares and glares in blender? Is it an addon? I saw you use an empty in a live and started wondering. Hjälp en broder
how do you load all the assets for the kitbashing?
well, I spent two days doing the body of the robot, when I found out now that I need to pay for that pack:(
Do u ever use ue5 (unreal engine 5) and can u say what is just better for animations?
His Voice changed
Thanks man!!!
make more tutorials
make more tutorials
make more tutorials
where do I can download the greeble?
patreon
Question, do I have to continually pay for acces to your greble pack or do I keep acces to it after one paying for it once?
If you download it once, you keep it
How do we get the reference human?
I need that robot part pack please
then you "need" to have 15 dollars. stuff in life doesnt just come for free.
I never knew this type of rigging was a thing...
Are u use iphone or android to motion capture?
What machine specs do you have?
Can u tell me your pc component?
keep it up!
Epic moment
My God... you are growing kkk. Voice is getting mature. very cool
Can you be my blender master? I'm dreaming everyday to be like you in blender!
Wow😲
Thank you
Oh, I thought you make every part and detail by yourself! Does professional do the same thing?
Absolutely. At Pixar, the animators only animate, they don’t make the models and they don’t rig them either, that’s done by modelers and riggers. Every aspect of CG is a skill set you can be paid for.
Your pc specs?
🥰 thanks
nice!
I'm gonna take a solid guess about who you are, your dad was either an engineer or a scientist of sorts.you definitely had tons of perfectly built lego sets all over your room growing up. And either you or your dad have glasses or one of y'all do. Lmk if I'm any bit correct.
