As I was driving by Providence Park, I could hear that wonderful sound. So I parked my car on the East side of the arena. Chrissie Hynde's powerful voice filled the streets for several blocks, down 18th Avenue and Southwest Jefferson Street, of my hometown of Portland where I lived my entire life just passing 70 years a day before on August 15th. She sounded just like she did over 40 years ago. At nearly 73 years of age now she's never sounded better. Chrissie Hynde is a true iconic Rock music vocalist. I stood just outside the security screens where I could look through and see this left side large video monitor. I was told that the tickets were sold out earlier that evening, so it was just wonderful to stand there and listen to her powerful vocals, as if blasting all the way from Seneca and Cuyahoga Falls Ohio. @andrewharris1837 Body movements don't determine audience engagement. They're an indicator, sure, and they opened for Foo Fighters so you assume there are more FF fans than Pretenders. I assure you, not caught on video was the number of uproars during other songs. She did great.
