Thanks my man! So helpful. I've always wanted a personal size Schuyler to complement my full size, and have never liked the old, compact PSQ. This one looks so much better, like the "Thinline" bible size available everywhere (though thicker, by the looks of it, which is fine). Appreciate you doing this breakdown and specifically comparing it side-by-side to old PSQ. Solid 👊🏼
Thanks for this. I ended up selling my full size and PSQ I had a few years ago as the Quintal is a tad too big to be practical, and the PSQ was too small. I always loved Crossway's thinking size, and I'm very happy that Schuyler have finally done something similar!
Thanks so much for this video. I didn’t know about the new size and that’s a game changer for me. I was able to get a Stridon in saddle brown earlier this year. Also not a full yapp guy. I went with the Tuscany in the psq for variety.
No we really didn’t get the middle ground. Why? Font size. I just can’t understand what Schuyler is thinking. For years so so many of us have been asking for a sort of mid-size quentel. Not for the actual physical dimensions (although many of us prefer 8x5), but rather so they could increase the font size to like a 9-9.5. So they finally listen, make a bigger physical PSQ, but keep the font the same size (8.5)? I truly don’t understand. Well actually I do. Had they made this new PSQ with a larger font, it would have made the full size quentel obsolete. Which ultimately is what I think Schuyler needs to do at some point. Just make ONE Quentel, 8x5, with a 10pt font, and just be done. Because the reality is that for many the full size quentel is just too physically big and this new PSQ whole a great physical size is still too small for a font for many of us to read.
The new PSQ looks ideal. It would be nice to have one, but I'm happy with my Crossway wide margin and small sized esv Thinline Reference. So I don't need to buy another ESV.
I’ve been putting my pen in my PSQ like you do and I’m loving the wear.
You been killing it with these Quentel videos the last week. So helpful! Thank you!

Schuyler will be releasing a bible in my favorite Spanish translation Next year. So, can't wait for it... Thanks for sharing brother.

How has the saddle brown been holding up for you so far?
I prefer the smaller one.
Great video that really brings the size comparison into perspective. Just a note that a lot of your video was out of focus

Does the new psq mirror the new larger quentel
Yes they have the same exact layout and pagination
do you think you’ll ever do a bible give away ?
Personally, I don’t like drop caps, so it’s a no for me lol
I agree. If they went with the NLT style drop caps I would like that a lot more than the ornamental ones.
