- I look forward to creating this spring garden display every year. This tablescape is the centrepiece of our patio for the first few months of the gardening season. It’s a simple, fun and relaxing project that provides colour and interest while we wait for the garden to wake up.

Oh my word, Annette, that was such a fun video, I loved it. The colors are absolutely glorious and who wouldnt want that view everyday. The tulips are something else too, so beautiful. I do grow that little wire plant. I would pick off the yellow leaves and it doesn’t like to be overwatered. It like it more on the dry side❤❤❤

Good work, I love lining wire baskets with sphagnum moss and filling full of flowers, I do it every spring, they last well I to the fall.
Sounds great Barbara. Moss is so homely and just adds that natural vibe to everything.
So pretty!!! After I place the moss I like to line these types of containers with an old towel or rag. It really helps keep the compost in and conserves a bit more moisture without the water just pouring out. 😊 Looks really lovely! 😊❤

👏 your Table Scape is absolutely beautiful with your glorious Tulips to the side, what a pretty view from your kitchen window. So well done. The plant you didn't know the name of could be a wire vine. I would keep it in a pot. It creeps and l found it a mini thug in the ground. It's stems are like wire in a couple of years and rather a job to get rid of. Pretty in a pot though. Great video, thank you Annette.

WOW! £36 is mega-expensive. I go to my local florist and buy a large tray/bag of fresh sheet moss and it's just under £20 - lasts me for ages. Do try your local florist - they have to get it in to use themselves anyway so they should have easy access to some.

Funny I have a birdhouse a little bigger than yours I have been wanting to do something similar to yours for a long time . We seem to a lot of the same taste, I have a tulip display on my sun deck too . I love working with moss and there is no shortage of it here on the island .💐
Hi, yes, we've been to Victoria and the gardens - but it was many years ago before I was really excited about gardening like I am now. In 2022 we visited the island again and stayed Uculet and visited Tofino and Long Beach. Had the most AMAZING delicious fish and chips in Tofino from Big Daddy's Fish Fry - I can still taste it! And we loved the coffee from Rhino so much that we had it shipped to us! The cost in Uculet was spectacular. I really hope we can visit again once day. 🇨🇦😊

This is the first video of yours I’ve seen. I really like it. Do you make sure there drains holes in your pots. Most of those flowers I don’t think I’ve ever seen here in Ohio. I’ll have to look for them a lot of them I really really liked. I love all your potted flowers.
Thank you. Hope you can find some interesting plants. Thanks for the advice about the pots - yes it's super important to have drain holes - all my pots do - even the tiny little ones - we drilled holes in them when I bought them. 🪴

Thank you ! The 'ball' is just a carved wooden ornament - a little bit like an artichoke head but not very realistic. I like it for the paint colour and texture. 😊
I have a question for you Miss Sweet Annette, I have tons of moss growing on my forest paths. My question is, can I pull this moss up and use it in my wire flower boxes or will it be to buggy? Maybe it will help my flowers? Thank you❤
Yes, absolutely - you can use any moss you like - I'd check there aren't any slugs or snails - don't want them munching you plants but worms would be fine.
Those Anemone 'Grecian Windflowers".....easier to get more quantity by corm?
Yes, I think that I should be able to split them when I plant them out into my borders - I always plant these container plants into the borders when we get to summer - we need the table back so that we can eat outside!
