"The Holy Breenity" is now my term for any time a movie is written, directed, and produced by the same guy. Well done coining an amazing phrase. This episode ruled.
I feel like you missed the scene in the first movie where he finds out that the little girl died of cancer and the rock didn't work. That part is hilarious because it makes him look like even more of an idiot. He found a random rock in some dying old dude's hand and for some reason assumed it was a magic healing rock. Of course it wasn't. If it had been, the old dude wouldn't have died. I just love that he's arrogant enough to have a whole intro voiceover about how great he is, but still accidentally makes himself look like a total moron.
I think the idea is that Breen's character is supposed to be a lunatic on purpose. The whole movie is an inept attempt to do a 1st person narrative with an unreliable narrator, and the whole bit with the rock and the dying little girl is the clue. Basically his movies are based on scripts written by someone who didn't ask any of his friends to give him some feedback. Space Ice ran with this idea with his video on Double Down, but I think he was absolutely right, this movie is supposed to be seen as the diary of a mad man. Ironically the movie convinced the world that the film maker was a lunatic instead.
Now, "The Room," I understand. dude wrote a book that didn't sell, so he put together a play nobody saw, and then he filmed the play as a movie, which is how it looks to me from the way the "actors" enter the scenes, and I use that term, so very generously.... But this.... This is a genuine enigma. Neil Breen is something else, I'm not quite sure what.

As a native of Las Vegas, I didn't hear about Neil Breen until a year ago when I was watching Space Ice here on TH-cam. Watching Twisted Pair for the first time I was like, "Hey that's Nevada State College!" Doing some research, from what I see that film cost him under $10,000 to film. His films definitely are So Bad They're Good. They are just fun to watch every now and again. This was fun to watch all you react to them. Looking forward to see the reaction to the latest film he did earlier this year.
Neil Breen's movies tell the story of a middle-aged photocopier repair man and his decent into madness, homelessness and fantasy following redundancy and divorce. It's seems like garbage, but it's actually an incredibly authentic portrayal.
I AM 50YS OLD FOTHOCOPPIER REPAIR GUY FROM SERBIA. AND I'M TELLING YOU: NEIL BREEN IS ANDY KAUFMAN. Please, America, don't be so sick. You roole the world, for your God's sake. If Breen is the product of your culture, we are all doomed. Only China can save us.

Can't tell you how much I enjoy this channel. I actually look forward to Thursday nights now, not because tomorrow is Friday but because this is always a riot and guaranteed to get a laugh out of me! Congrats on ep 200! 😂😂😂😂😂 Case in point at 07:02 😂😂😂😂😂
My theory about the Breen. At some point, he learned that some directors shoot scenes out of order, either for weather conditions or scheduling conflicts, but keeps forgetting to put them back in the correct order. And since he doesn't label his footage after shooting, he sometimes mixes in his outtakes and casting couch sessions.
Apparently Neil has a net worth of a reasonably modest 1.5 - 2 million. Pretty well off yet still relatively humble. And he makes these brilliant movies that everyone can't stop talking about. I gotta say, what a graet guy
Also... I've never seen Erin push past fun drunk into annoying drunk, but Neil Breen can end friendships and ruin lives. He's a genius that so few of us can possibly comprehend. Thank you for doing this. God speed and I'm sorry for your livers.
I’ve never watched the channel before but absolutely love terrible movies. I saw that you two crazy lads done the unthinkable and the whole video couldn’t stop laughing at you both. Instant sub from me 😂
The sequel to this, Cade: tortured crossing is fantastic. I got to see it twice in the theatre. Also, You NEED to see the Neill Breen 5 Film Introspective. It's Neil explaining how he made all his films. 10/10.
0:32 "We'll see how inebriated we are by the end." The smirk on Daves face was all I needed to know, he was definitely ready for that marathon. Love you guys! Edit: After getting into the closing act of this, I'm hurting from all the laughter. And im not even drinking. This was a treat. Thanks, Jason!
"He should be a professor of film making." Well, you aren't too far off. He has like a 5 hour video where Breen teaches you how to make movies. He stresses over and over again how much he is a professional and how many feature length movies he's made that have actually been played in theaters around the world.
@@Andrea-nom I don't think Jason would like me putting links in his comment section. Just do some searching around with the terms and see what you find.
@@JasonBrant You can't hate on the man. He has a passion, he's doing it, and he's made himself semi-famous. He self funds or does fundraisers to finance his films, he tries to give unknown actors and actresses work, he features his hometown in most of the films. And he is essentially a one man team. He's doing it all. The man can't write a story, he can't act, and he's not a great editor or special effects guy, but he's getting the most out of his talent and putting smiles on peoples' faces, and isn't that what a film is supposed to do? It's usually somewhat difficult to follow a movie plot during a watch-along without having seen it before but I get the feeling that even having seen these wouldn't make them any more coherent.
from what I can glean it seems the first movie is supposed to follow someone who is actually crazy and hallucinating. Kind of like American psycho, but not as put together.

Only after we give ourselves up to the true breen and acend shall we be given the gift of understanding these masterpieces!!! ALL HAIL NEIL BREEN!!!!
The films of Neil Breen are a study in psychopathy. His narcissism and grandiosity are at serial killer levels. I fear he may do something genuinely terrible in the future - and I don't just mean more films.
@@JasonBrant the first person I thought of after that opening film was Ted kaczynski. He definitely had a manifesto. P.s have you seen the Michael Flatley's(he of Riverdance fame) 'Blackbird' ? It's the ultimate vanity project replete with hat worn at rakish angle.
I'm convinced Neil Breen is mentally ill in some fashion, and channels it into his movies. NPD at the very least. His lack of self awareness rivals Steven Seagal's.

Now that's a movie i'd watch
There is nothing I love more than watching people experience Breen for the first time. This is glorious.
Dave's "I still believe" saxophone guy Tim Cappello from The Lost Boys t-shirt is almost as legendary as the Breezus himself. 🎷😂
Just finished the episode and wow what a ride. Buy one on me, here's to another 200 episodes. Thanks for the great show guys.
Thank you so much!
Happy 200th Episode!! Know that you’ve provided so many of us with hysterical and great content and we hope to continue this journey with you as long as possible! All
hail the Brant basement!! 🤟🏼🤟🏼🤟🏼🇺🇸💪🏼🫡
More pain is on the way!
Every few months I get drunk and come back for the scene at 16:06 and lol with Dave for like 5 minutes.
I've never heard of you guys but now THANKS to the ONE AND ONLY NEIL, I know!! You got a new follower!!! Awesome content!
"What was the point of that" can be asked for every scene in every 1 of his movies.
So true.
Can't tell you how much I enjoy this channel. I actually look forward to Thursday nights now, not because tomorrow is Friday but because this is always a riot and guaranteed to get a laugh out of me! Congrats on ep 200!
😂😂😂😂😂 Case in point at 07:02 😂😂😂😂😂
Thanks so much! More crazy movies are on the way.
Congratulations on 200 episodes!
Thanks so much 🙏
My theory about the Breen.
Great
@@onlyme219 Ah, I made a 'mistake'. Thank you for correting me.
@@tonysplattery To be fair I do it all the time, best wishes :)
Also... I've never seen Erin push past fun drunk into annoying drunk, but Neil Breen can end friendships and ruin lives. He's a genius that so few of us can possibly comprehend. Thank you for doing this. God speed and I'm sorry for your livers.
A Neil Breen marathon will change anyone.
now THAT'S how you do a 200th episode special!!
These movies aren't just genius... they're "Breenius".
🤣🤣
I’ve never watched the channel before but absolutely love terrible movies. I saw that you two crazy lads done the unthinkable and the whole video couldn’t stop laughing at you both. Instant sub from me 😂
Same here. Two days ago I didn't know this channel existed and now I'm hooked.
The sequel to this, Cade: tortured crossing is fantastic. I got to see it twice in the theatre. Also, You NEED to see the Neill Breen 5 Film Introspective. It's Neil explaining how he made all his films. 10/10.
3 mins into the video & that "are you for real" laugh from Jason has started!
0:32 "We'll see how inebriated we are by the end."
The smirk on Daves face was all I needed to know, he was definitely ready for that marathon. Love you guys!
Edit: After getting into the closing act of this, I'm hurting from all the laughter. And im not even drinking.
This was a treat. Thanks, Jason!
Thanks! It was a slog, but I'm glad everyone can laugh at our misery.
Inebreenated
Dave can normally decipher the most inane plots the more alcohol he consumes, that he is so stumped means there is no hope for the rest of us
Only the Breenus can understand these.
I'm the president of the bank. This is good content.
👉😂 How did Neil compel you to kill yourself? Or maybe you were that desperate to avoid prison?
"Three cans worth of tuna in his lap" and the way you both laughed was so funny, I watched it several times 😂
"He should be a professor of film making."
Well, you aren't too far off. He has like a 5 hour video where Breen teaches you how to make movies. He stresses over and over again how much he is a professional and how many feature length movies he's made that have actually been played in theaters around the world.
😮are you serious? Please give a link!
@@Andrea-nom I don't think Jason would like me putting links in his comment section. Just do some searching around with the terms and see what you find.
It’s not cheap. I think that RLM has bought a copy and reviewed it.
If you want to learn about indie filmmaking, why not learn from the best?
@@JasonBrant You can't hate on the man. He has a passion, he's doing it, and he's made himself semi-famous. He self funds or does fundraisers to finance his films, he tries to give unknown actors and actresses work, he features his hometown in most of the films. And he is essentially a one man team. He's doing it all.
The man can't write a story, he can't act, and he's not a great editor or special effects guy, but he's getting the most out of his talent and putting smiles on peoples' faces, and isn't that what a film is supposed to do? Entertain?
You guys are the models of restraint. 9 hours of Breen, with alcohol, and you can still speak.
I highly recommend you try it with friends.
@@DamienBladeI wanna try it on mushrooms 😂
I started with MST3K, headed to Rifftrax but now I'm hooked on you guys from this Neil Breen torture session. I haven't laughed this hard for months!! You guys absolutely rocked it and I'm now a fan. Thanks for making my normal, boring Friday night into a wild ride of riffing!
“You are now free ….of PTSD.”
- Neil Breen.
😂
It's usually somewhat difficult to follow a movie plot during a watch-along without having seen it before but I get the feeling that even having seen these wouldn't make them any more coherent.
Spot on
from what I can glean it seems the first movie is supposed to follow someone who is actually crazy and hallucinating. Kind of like American psycho, but not as put together.
A Brennathon is exactly what you needed for your 200th! Proud that I've been watching your stuff for so long! Congrats on 200! Hope to see you at 1000!
Thanks for sticking with us! More stupid crap is on the way.
Neil Breen is the sort of person who would be fucking terrifying if he had any level of real power.
Neil may be a misanthrope at heart. Not that I blame him.
Modern society is an even bigger shitshow than what he shows in his movies.
You guys are legends! Congratulations on 200 episodes 🎉🎉🎉
The way he looks at a completepy static satellite dish kills me 😂😂😂
After exhausting Space Ice's videos I was in need of my fix for more Neil Breen and found it here. Thank you.
You guys are my heroes.. best channel on youtube!
I absolutely love this for the 200th episode!!
It's always great to get commentary on the amazingly concise messaging by The Breezus himself!
COngrats on episode 200. I may have to watch this in more than one sitting, but I am looking forward to every minute.
neil breen is a cinematic genius and nothing can convince me otherwise. His movie making skills are just simply too godlike for us mere mortals to understand. Only after we give ourselves up to the true breen and acend shall we be given the gift of understanding these masterpieces!!! ALL HAIL NEIL BREEN!!!!
The only way I can enjoy Neil Breen films is getting drunk watching other people getting drunk watching a Neil Breen movie.
The films of Neil Breen are a study in psychopathy. His narcissism and grandiosity are at serial killer levels. I fear he may do something genuinely terrible in the future - and I don't just mean more films.
Not sure about the psychopathy. There’s plenty here for the NPD.
He definitely thinks he has the world figured out.
I think he’s a genius
thank you all for watching all these for us! loved every minute of it
Glad you enjoyed it!
1:44:10 that’s so funny. The guys over at Good Bad or Bad Bad called out the Breen-a-verse too after seeing that jacket.
John DeHart and Neil Breen need to team up to make the greatest vanity project ever filmed. 😂
Congrats on 200 episodes!!!! Here's to 200 more.
I'm so glad you got to this guys movies. Holy heck these are BAD.
Thank you for being a genuinely great laugh out loud channel. This episode was badly needed and was so funny 😂😂😂😂❤
In-credible!!! A legendary 200th episode! I can't believe you guys survived. Here is to 200 more! 🍻🍻🍻
Thanks so much!
That was awesome guys, great job! Thank you for subjecting yourselves to that for our enjoyment
Breen's an international treasure, a herald of the new age! Great content. Right here.... now.
I saw what you did there
This has to be one of the best episodes you guys have done. I was hesitant about the 2+ hour runtime but it felt like 30 minutes watching it. I drank with you guys and laughed, and felt like I was watching along with you guys. Such a good time!
This is madness, total insanity, how have you survived 5 Neil Breen movies back to back 😂😂😂😂 Hilarious reaction I was in hysterics throughout this Breenfest.
Happy 200th Episode to you all, awesome channel, great content. 👍
At some point in history there should be a Breen/Seagal collaboration. That would be a world worth living in.
Hi Jason!
I have seen this video at least 10 times last month. I just can't get enough of everybodies reaction to those trainwrecks. I hope the Breesus blessed us with another stand-alone movie in the next years.
Cheers from Germany!
This is the last known footage of the SBIG crew. It is not known what happened to them after binge watching every Neil Breen movie in one sitting.
Breen appeared and took all of them into the 4th dimension and said they all would return when the time was right.
The random close ups on your friends faces got me cracking up.
Proud of you guys for enduring a marathon of the Breenster!!
thanks for the upload and for the sheer fact that you guys sat through and watched all these. After one i had to go to the bathroom to take a breen, cant imagine watching these fully all the way through. LMAO
When I watch y’all’s videos it gives me the illusion that I have and am hanging out with friends. You guys are great thank you
"Director without peer." Clearly he means no other director is nearly as "Neil Breen" as he is.
It's only noon right now, but it's also a friday and I have the feeling I will need some beers just to get through this video. I salute your sacrifices for our entertainment, congrats to 200 episodes you mad, mad people and here's to 200 more!
Definitely should beer for this video, haha.
This was THE perfect way to celebrate 200 episodes of SBIG! You all had me cracking up during the good times and feeling your pain sitting through the rough patches....
45:10 Dave laughed INTO his bottle and there was an echo!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🔥
I'm so sorry I didn't find your channel sooner! I literally laughed alongside you guys the ENTIRE time. Your commentary is hilarious, love the channel and an immediate fan!
PS: bravo on 8 hours of the Breen.....wah, thankfully you had eachother. And beer. 🔥🔥🔥
You guys are legends! Congratulations on 200 episodes! 🎉🎉🎉 also, Breen makes Seagal look like a 9-5 office worker 😂
A mighty congratulations for 200!
This was SO good!
Thanks to you all!!
I joined you guys with drinking during all of the games. that was fun too 😁
Thanks so much!
Neil Breen should make a horror movie.
He already made six.
I have been sick in bed for two days and did nothing but watch you guys back to back. I feel like shit but at least I'm caught up now. Keep up the good work, you guys kill it every time
Guys, I hope you didn't get alcohol poisoning after this. Great video btw, I just found your channel and I loved the chill vibe you guys have. I'm subscribing!
Between the actual marathon and the editing process I bet this video took FOREVER! That’s dedication, my dudes. Happy I stumbled on your channel, TH-cam knows I know good Breentent. Subbed!
Feel sorry for whoever edited it.
