Cirio H. Santiago was a prolific Filipino director. You should do one of his post-apocalyptic movies someday. BTW: Filipino movie sets were infamous for their lax safety measures back in the day, so you can be sure that Weng Weng took some real risks when he made this movie.
@@JasonBrant You could do Equalizer 2000 with Richard Norton. I just thought of the completely insane Future Hunters, another Santiago movie that you should put on your list. It rips off just about everything.

About an hour into the movie, was filmed outside my apartment in the Philippines 🇵🇭. I was 7! I saw the fight scene. Funny that it took film makers 4 hours to set things up. Another 3 hours to film the fight scene. The actor Weng-Weng and Carmie Martin (The girl in the yellow sweatpants & white shirt), DID THE FIGHT SCENES THEMSELVES. All of those work for up to 8 hours and we only saw 2 minutes of it on screen.
This was INSANELY epic from everyone. I loved watching the four of you, and the movie was almost as funny as your reactions to it. Thanks again for all you do.

Jason, you oughta make an annual compilation of the funniest moments from each video in each year. When James Bond Jr Mary Poppins'd it, that is definitely a contender for the most hilarious moment in 2022 😂
Interesting trivia: The budget for this movie was $7 USD (converted), but after VHS sales and merchandise it brought in slightly over $15 USD, making it the Philippines highest grossing blockbuster of 2005
"You know what Erin... you think you're the hero." Lol. Reminds me of the stink people made over the upcoming live action Snow White for being exploitative, so they decided to replace the dwarves with digital creatures. Dwarven actors were PISSED because "the feels" put them out of a job. I heard the shut down of freak shows was similar, but that was before my time.
Well it was Peter Dinklage that called out the new Snow White for being "f*cking backward" on an interview with Marc Maron, I listened to the whole thing, you can read up on it too. He definitely has a point to make being a smaller guy himself and I guess cos he's a really famous actor Disney decided to make changes. Also freak shows were mostly about the public going to see people with disabilities for their own amusement and being so glad they weren't like that. The organiser showmen also heavily exploited the performers. Like public hangings, it's probably a good thing they are gone. Check out Nightmare Alley and "the geek" show.
But the story of snow white has dwarves, dwarves exist irl. So the film should have dwarves. A song of ice and fire had a dwarf, dwarves exist, they casted dwarf actor, peter dinklage as that dwarf If it's offensive to cast a non indian person as an indian, isn't it offensive to cast a non dwarf as a dwarf? Why is ok for GOT story to cast a dwarf but not Snow White (a much more well known and less offensive story by far + the dwarves are good guys). It's such an arbitrary decision and hypocritical. So he can do whatever he wants, make millions and be the most famous dwarf..but the one time dwarves were gonna have multiple big job openings, he cock blocks it for them and ruins their options. You don't realize how dangerous these arbitrary decisions are. They all claim to be "for good, for equality and justice" but they're really just "I'm using Xyz to manipulate you and force you to do/not do what i want. None of it is based on any logic or compassion. If you think history was harsh, wait and see what happens when you let anybody impose anything on anybody without any rules or rationale
@@tobe1207 The whole thing is a nightmare of political correctness, which is constantly in flux. That being said, though, we're talking about two different types of dwarves. Dwarves in the modern since are just small humans with some sort of physical or genetic disorder. Fantasy dwarves are derived from Germanic folk tradition and are not at all human- they are more faerie-like, with spiritual elements. While modern fantasy has made them allies of humans... they weren't to be messed with in olden times. Still, I'm not opposed to small people playing them if the IP allows.
Hilarious! I really like your format hearing live commentary over the film....all the variations of the five of you (counting Pam) work well together. Keep it up!

This is one of the few channels I watch where I laugh out loud by myself, sometimes to the point where I can’t open my eyes. Love it.
One of the funniest ones you've done. You know how NFL teams have a long snapper and that's their only job? Did they have a guy who's only job was to slide Weng Weng across the floor when the director yelled action?
Omaha! Omaha! Hut! Hut! Hike!
That's a job to be proud of.
This is right up there with The Barbarian Brothers and Ricki Oh!! Hilarious. Jason, the funniest comment you made was when Dave got up and you said it sounded like Steven Seagal walking across the room! Looking forward to the the next video. Thanks guys
I hope "rip it" becomes a regular catchphrase for any future James Bond knockoff movies.
I'm gonna start using it in daily life.
I think it needs to stick around 🤣
I was watching this episode just now at the airport, but I had to pause because I was laughing so hard.
You guys are the best! Thanks for making my flight delay actually enjoyable. 😁😁😁
Goddamn the "bring bring bring bring" at the end really got me lmao
🤣 I didn't even need to ask.
That was hilarious, jumping out of the window with the umbrella Mary Poppins style had me in stitches 🤣🤣🤣.
OMG! Once again, Erin's reactions are priceless. This movie was absolutely boss! And as soon as I saw the two little dudes fighting each other the first thing that was: oh look they're doing partial arts!! By the way, weng weng was 2 ft 9.
You are evil for the partial arts comment 💀💀
11:52 the most wholesome little sound effect ever
36:15 did he just pronounce debris like that? 🤣. Sensational reaction guys!
Cirio H. Santiago was a prolific Filipino director. You should do one of his post-apocalyptic movies someday.
BTW: Filipino movie sets were infamous for their lax safety measures back in the day, so you can be sure that Weng Weng took some real risks when he made this movie.
Do you have a specific one in mind?
@@JasonBrant You could do Equalizer 2000 with Richard Norton. I just thought of the completely insane Future Hunters, another Santiago movie that you should put on your list. It rips off just about everything.
@@JasonBrant doesn't matter, you'll have a blast!
This alone had me laughing to the point of tears. I’ve never been one to go on Patreon, but I have to see the unedited full version. This was the greatest thing I have ever seen. Also, Red Sonja.
Hilarious reactions from you all, Erin had me in stitches with her comments & Dave was just gone a few minutes in.
I've never even heard of this film but the best way to watch it was watching you react to it.
Jason your channels awesome congratulations on 50k subscribers.
This is the greatest movie we've ALL ever seen!
Its brilliance can't be overstated.
"I wouldn't jump twice my height right now" That's good to know Dave. We were all really worried
He's such an athlete.
This was INSANELY epic from everyone. I loved watching the four of you, and the movie was almost as funny as your reactions to it. Thanks again for all you do.
as a filipino. im shocked that i havent seen this. damn. just damn lol
It's brilliant 🤣
This is your masterpiece. This made me laugh till I cried. Between the movie and the comments.....this was epic. Bravo!
Your most AWESOME(!) episode yet, I couldn't help but laugh right-along with you!
Thanks! I loved this movie so much.
Wow.... just WOW! That was 70's-TASTIC! Where to begin?! The ridiculous story? The cheesy fighting? The insane gadgets? The UMBRELLA?! This just exudes... PERFECTION! I can't blame you guys for being broken periodically while watching this!
*I also love how Dave puts the little doggo to sleep in his shirt :D
perfect end to a great night , New video AWESOME!
Hope you dig it!
@@JasonBrant wont lie i always do , my Fav film reviewers by far , love the videos
Absolutely one of the best presentations, so far guys. Totally entertaining and hilarious as hell!!!! 😂😂😂😂
Loved that everyone started to head nod on cue once the discotheque scene popped up lol
Tested positive for COVID today so watching this really cheered me up. Erin's reactions were priceless. This could be the future of James Bond 😂. Rippin 😂 Jason you were on fire with your jokes today.
Get well soon bud
@@leeweesquee thanks buddy
Jason, you oughta make an annual compilation of the funniest moments from each video in each year. When James Bond Jr Mary Poppins'd it, that is definitely a contender for the most hilarious moment in 2022 😂
Interesting trivia: The budget for this movie was $7 USD (converted), but after VHS sales and merchandise it brought in slightly over $15 USD, making it the Philippines highest grossing blockbuster of 2005
Did you forget "million" or is my sarcasm sensor broken?
No other movie can even come close to this.
I LOVE THIS CHANNEL!
"You know what Erin... you think you're the hero."
Lol.
A song of ice and fire had a dwarf, dwarves exist, they casted dwarf actor, peter dinklage as that dwarf
If it's offensive to cast a non indian person as an indian, isn't it offensive to cast a non dwarf as a dwarf?
Keep it up!
This is the perfect wake and bake video 😂😂😂😂😂😂
🤣
🤜🤛
This might be the best reaction video i've ever seen and i've been crying throughout with laughter. Please keep this up
I adore Erin and how sensitive she is! Her heart is always in the right place even when she is overthinking it a bit? I totally understand where you are coming from! ❤️
Thanks!
🙏🙏
Erin was not happy at first.
Definitely not 🤣
Had to watch a bit at a time during frequent beer breaks while working outside. Absolutely epic episode. Loved it.
I love the inner-conflict that Erin went through in this film… 😂😂😂
I dont think I've laughed this hard in ages! I had to rewind this so many times to rewatch parts I missed from laughing so much ~ great job guys! 🤣
Poor Erin is going to need a therapist. And if she does go to one, make sure that it's a little person.
🤣
And Filipino 😆
