I am the honest vocal coach! I have been teaching for 15 years and been singing since I was 16. I teach from my own studio and also teach and mentor via email, and online via Live & Skype. I specialise in teaching children, and teenagers pop and musical theatre but I am trained in all genres of music. I have studied every voice technique there is, including Speech Level Singing, Estill, Bel Canto, Robert Lunte, London College of Music, ABRSM, Ria Keen, Kim Chandler, Stevie Van Lange and many more. I have been around!
In 2008 I wrote the Vocaltutor Guide, 21 set lessons for singing teachers to get started, learning to teach, and produced 3 vocal exercise CD/Downloads.
I am now working on my first online singing programme. The Foundations of Singing that will be available on Udemy.

Pink actually saw Davina's performance and said "this is how it should be sung"
Welllll...in the video she listens to about a minute of Davina..AND talks through it a fair bit. I am not sure I believe she watched the complete videos of all the people they showed. Not sure anybody wants to hear a song they perform many times that many covers in a row?
Yarden Gali, of course the vid of Pink giving a review of the covers is edited! It sound kind of negative your comment! But one thing is for sure.....since Pink gave her comment Davina's star is rising! And I believe that Pink heard the whole song....otherwise she had never gave the big compliment to her! "Holy Shit- This how it supposed to sound- I could never sing it like this- That was just rude- it was 'fine'- Is this a recording artist, if not that has to change" Compliments enough and that is not just listening for 1 minute!

She really is an incredible singer, even if you are born with a natural talent it takes a lot of work and dedication to develop that level of control and expression, I can't wait to see where she goes in the future

We have pretty good singers here in the neherlands right😉..she did idols back in 2016 and the judges didnt found her good enough for the finals can you reckon!

Hi, Georgina! This recommendation isn't for you to review but just to listen to on your own. I've watched a *lot* of The Voice compilations over the years, but I've never heard one like this: th-cam.com/video/JSM8KYZ2PuE/w-d-xo.html It's focused on nothing but the beauty of the performance, and it features singers from all over the world in languages that I'll never understand. But, they're all wonderful. The really fantastic thing about listening to a song in a language you don't understand is that you stop focusing on the meaning of the words and start listening to just the quality of the voice and the power of the performance. For me, that was a revelation. I hope you enjoy the list as much as I did. John Thomson

I have to disagree with you on this one. I thought the drama was a tad overdone,don't believe the breaks were intentional and she sounded a bit too shouty for my taste at times.

her singing look like its heavily edited and manipulated...I mean she could be singing ok...but its like there's a lot of computer and mic work with all the new technology I believe people could do stuff to their voice to sound better.
Imagine this...its very similar to how technology is now able to take a normal looking guy and make him look very sexy and pretty with the camera filters, like in snapchat....I believe even with audio there are some filters nowadays that can potentially make a lot of adjustments to ones voice and how they sound.
I do believe that she's heavily using these technologies to the fullest.
